Death threats/harassment by AW Employee Against Client

I am sharing my experience because I believe people should know how a serious safety situation involving a client was handled.

A client was subjected to repeated harassment and received statements that I understood to be death threats. A police report was filed documenting the harassment and threats, and the matter was referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for review and a charging decision.

America Works was aware of the situation, including Legal. Despite being made aware of the reported threats and ongoing harassment, I did not see action that I believed adequately addressed the client’s safety concerns.

A temporary restraining order was also entered against the individual involved.

What concerns me most is that, despite the reported threats, documented harassment, police involvement, and the temporary restraining order, the individual continues to work for America Works.

I am sharing this based on my firsthand experience and documentation of the situation. I am not making a determination about whether criminal charges should be filed—that decision belongs to law enforcement and the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. My concern is how America Works responded after being made aware of the situation.

I believe people considering working with or receiving services from an organization should have access to this information and be able to make their own informed decisions.

The employees are very much…

The employees are very much professional and very much concerned about your work goals and career opportunities. The events they have are very much appreciated by people who attend. They organization is just amazing for people who is disabled &is seeking assistance to obtain career opportunities or options for jobs.

Micromanaging

Three words

Micromanaging. Unorganized. Stressful. These are the words that I would use to describe my time working here. Management likes to micromanage employees, which is never a good management style. They are also unorganized, and some managers are incompetent and indifferent towards employee growth. Finally, the work environment id stressful because of incompetent and micromanaging management. Employee morale there is always low.

Bad Customer Service

I do not recommend their services. It took longer to get me a job despite the fact that they have highlighted that you can get one within four weeks. I had to keep following up with the recruiter who made no effort of reaching out to me with info.
