We were disappointed with their term…
We were disappointed with their term and conditions. We should have referred to Office of Fair Trading. But they are member of Federation of Master Builder where we raided the issue. FMB said they eill investigate part of mediation process but we were never told about the result of the investigation.

Our quotation specified that, due to the nature of a blind-cut loft hatch installation, it would not be possible to confirm whether a hatch could be installed until the ceiling had been opened. It also explained what would happen if the loft space proved was unsuitable when accesed.
When you later referred the matter to the Federation of Master Builders, we contacted you directly to discuss your concerns and the outcome you were hoping to achieve. Following those discussions, we agreed to return to your property, completed the installation you requested and resolved the matter directly between us.
As the matter was resolved by agreement, the FMB mediation process did not need to continue to a formal conclusion, which is why there was no final outcome for the FMB to communicate. We appreciate that this may not have been clear at the time and apologise for any confusion.
At Amazing Lofts, we always aim to work constructively with our customers whenever concerns are raised and are pleased that, in this instance, we were able to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continually improve both our communication and the service we provide.

A team of four completed the upgrading of insulation, partial reboarding of the floor, removal of an old gas boiler and water tank and installed a new ladder with a tailored banister/handrail to the roof-space all within a single day. This during the current heat wave. Not only that, the property was left in a pristine state. Quite remarkable and greatly appreciated..

Everything was easy
Everything was easy. From the first man measuring and giving a quote to the two men who came down a few days later. I was surprised how quick they were and they cleaned up after themselves. I was even more surprised when I saw how amazing my loft looked after the job. It was clean and large and allowed me to store everything I needed to store. All the rubbish from a previous owner was removed and the men were very friendly. I would recommend this service to anyone wanting a loft space.

From the first call i made to the company ,from the home visit by the very helpful surveyor who gave me charts and prices,the lovely young man who actually fitted the loft flooring,the friendly lady who did the electrics. Loft ladder fitted carelessly
We just had a loft ladder fitted. The guy who came to have a look and make the sale was very nice and helpful. The fitters charged in and charged out of the house without leaving time to have a proper look at the job before asking us to sign a form. We later found that they'd bashed a couple of doors and knocked the paint off and also used a mixture of screws (counter sunk and round head) with the counter sunk ones a bit proud of the woodwork so liable to catch on skin or clothes. The ladder itself is great.
