I purchased a clutch master cylinder from Amayama, which turned out to be faulty. Despite providing them with my receipt and clear proof of the fault (confirmed by a mechanic), they are refusing to resolve the issue and continue asking for unnecessary extra information.

This single faulty part has cost me nearly three times its value to replace, including wasted labour and additional repairs. Instead of taking responsibility, Amayama have made the process slow, frustrating, and unhelpful.

For a company that markets itself as a trusted supplier of OEM parts, this level of customer service is completely unacceptable. When something goes wrong, you expect fair treatment and accountability — not endless delays and dismissals.

I would strongly caution others against ordering critical parts from Amayama. If the part is faulty, you may end up paying far more than you saved, with little to no support from them.

I placed order #12245131 with Amayama on September 17, 2025. It is now well past that date and the order is still marked as “In progress”. Despite the promised delivery window (Oct 17 – Nov 2, 2025), I have not received any tracking information or real updates. Communication is poor and the lack of transparency makes this experience very disappointing

Perfect communication, don't expect it to be there in 2 business days but when knowing that it's perfect.

I recommend Amayama for purchasing Toyota spare parts. Very fast shipping from Japan with FedEx, delivered two days ahead of schedule. Very reliable and professional communication. Very satisfied with the service.

They always check availability for the parts I need. It's difficult to find parts for my 1992 Subaru Alcyone SVX so I'm glad their website exists. The diagrams help a lot too with finding the parts that I need. If there is a long delay on getting a part, they cancel it so your order isn't held up for 2+ months. Getting a personalized case manager that calls for the part availability makes 100% sure that they have the parts you need. Shipping isn't too expensive and the prices are far more reasonable compared to Subaru of America. I've seen the same part here in the states go for over double the cost when compared to Amayama (crank pulley on the SVX is a big example). No point in ordering from dealerships here when I have to wait for the parts I need anyways. Better to order off of Amayama and save money and confirm I get the right parts. Amayama and RockAuto are lifesavers.

My go to company for OE parts for my vehicles.
Parts are always packaged well and always as described.
Never had any issues with orders.
Some parts fo take a little longer to arrive but this is down to having to order direct from manufacturer before onward shipping to customer.
