Great service, highly recommended this company

I needed to change the shipping address of an item that I had ordered earlier in the day. Although it wasn’t possible to change the shipping address, Daniel suggested canceling my order, then reordering with the desired address, which I did.

Altitude Sports is always a pleasure to deal with. Honest, respectful and has a great selection.

Customer Service was great, they contacted FedEx to ensure my package was delivered to my house. FedEx always re-labels my address and won’t fix the issue. Customer Service kept me updated as to their progress with FedEx. It was greatly appreciated.

They split my order into two shipments. I only received the first shipment. The second was delivered to the wrong address, and the company refused to issue a refund.

I returned the first shipment that I did receive, but they never refunded me for it either, even though their own tracking information shows they received the return. In the end, I paid for items I never received and never received a refund for the items I returned. Very disappointing customer service.

I had a great experience ordering from Altitude Sports. They offer an excellent selection of brands and products. I contacted their customer service regarding an issue with my order, and they resolved it very quickly—even outside of regular business hours. I was very impressed with their prompt and professional support.

My best friend of 60 years and I are planning to do a 10 night hike on the LaCloche Silhouette Trail to celebrate our 70th birthdays and some of my gear was due for replacement. Altitude Sports has been my go to supplier for about 14 years now and I know they can be counted on to have the “stuff” I need. They are also a wealth of knowledge and are always willing to help. I had an issue finding a cover for my Gregory Boltoro Pro 85L and they even found a store in Calgary for me that I could order it from even though I had already searched the internet high and low. The best brands, the best delivery, the best support and all at competitive prices, especially if you watch the sales.

This is my favourite online shopping experience. They fulfill ordered quickly, shipping is usually great, tracking is accurate. Returns are super easy. I love being a member. I earn credits for reviews. Any time I’ve had an issue, their customer service has been great.

My order arrived quickly, and the sizing chart provided online was accurate meaning that the product fit me perfectly. The company followed up immediately to ensure everything was okay. I really like that it's Canadian and the clothing was made in a fair-trade certified factory.

For context, I am a lifetime member and I think it is so worthwhile. Free shipping and returns. Very quick shipping. Excellent and easy to contact via online chat customer service.

For the most part, I am quite pleased with this store. We have basically been forced to buy items online because you can’t find the things you want in regular stores, so my biggest issue is that I’m being punished and need to pay shipping costs every time I order something unless it’s over a high amount of minimum money spent. And then when I pay the shipping cost, it takes a week to arrive. I find that a little bit unfair, but I guess that’s the way of the world now. I do really appreciate that when I give a review I get $10 off to put towards future purchases. This is one reason that I have continued to shop from here and not other stores that sell the same items.

Purchase many items from gear to clothes with altitude Sports. Their quality and delivery is excellent, but equally if I have every needed to return an item, or had a problem/question I can reach a real person quickly through phoning, texting or email and they have always resolved it promptly and fairly. Great company and staff!

Bought climbing shoes based on the site's sizing, which was very different from the typical sizing chart for this brand. Been using the same shoes for over a decade. The new shoes didn't fit – after 1.5 hrs in the climbing gym I realised the size wasn't the same as what I thought I'd ordered. Altitude Sports refused to refund me and instead offered "store credit". I've been with AS for years and years. No more.

Misleading promotion — avoid.

Altitude Sports advertised a $50 credit on orders over $250, directly on a product page. No terms, no conditions, no expiry — just the offer as displayed. I built a cart over $250 and went to check out. No credit applied. I contacted them via live chat.

Two hours after I complained, they updated the promotion on their website with new details that hadn't been there when I saw it.

Then they told me, via live chat, that there was "nothing they could do."

This is a textbook bait-and-switch. I will not be shopping here again.
