7 weeks and counting and 0 orders shipped out of 3 ,disgusting ,they call themselves a company, poor excuse, guessing they have started scamming people it seems
Been over a month since I placed an order and not received it. No update, no apologies just blanket statements.
I'd never heard of All The Anime before and was sceptical as to whether it was a scam site or not... I'd asked around and friends hadn't heard of them either. They had an early bird pre-order offer on a product so I thought I'd roll the dice and see if I could get the money back from the credit card company if it didn't work out. Happy to report that the item arrived and is absolutely awesome!
The release date was delayed and I wasn't emailed about it which didn't fill me with hope (I had to do some digging to find out it was delayed) but the item arrived and I'm really happy to have it, especially at the low price. I've since started noticing All The Anime on the side of box sets as I go shopping which I never did before.
I'd definitely buy from them again but they could improve on their service and brand awareness a bit.
Website was unfortunately invisibly broken and having errors when I made an order. Understandable this happens, and customer service were very helpful when it was reported. However I am currently waiting for confirmation I've been refunded.
The customer service email is set up to autorespond to you before a rep contacts you and remind you to add your order number in wording that implies you left it off your original email, causing unnecessary confusion.
When the website can't handle an order like this also, it processes it, takes your payment from your card and reports that you cancelled your own order and removes it from the system, rather than telling you that the site couldn't complete your order, leaving you awaiting a refund.
Love this company's products, so will continue to support them, but via brick and mortar shops stocking their discs and other distros with more robust webservices rather than through their own site.

Reply from All The Anime
I've been a frequent customer of AlltheAnime and have always been very happy with the service I received - they release lesser known titles that would otherwise struggle to find a platform in the UK and EU, and also produce very high quality collectors editions that are perfect for any collector's shelf.
Recently, I opened a collector's edition that I bought during a sale last year - only to find the discs were missing from the case. I contacted AlltheAnime asking if there was anything they could do to help, not expecting much considering it had been over a year since my purchase. However, to my pleasant surprise they sent me out the missing discs in the form of a standard edition Blu Ray! The discs came very fast and I can now enjoy the show I was looking forward to watching (Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine). This is the incredible customer service that makes AlltheAnime such a wonderful company to continue purchasing from.
Ordered Anime Movies on the 11th December as part of the 12 Days of Christmas Deal. I have used All The Anime for a number of orders here and there for the past 3 years and never had an issue only in delays of shipping.
My order did not ship till the 16th December which I anticipated due to it being Christmas. My order was the fulfilled on the 17th but according to the tracking information my order had not been given to Royal Mail. I have attempted to contact All the Anime on 3 occasions, twice using the online contact form and once using their generic email address.
It is now 4th January, I have received no response and my order is missing. I have had to raise a dispute with PayPal in relation to this order just to get my money back. I’m more than happy to wait and receive the order, but it doesn’t look like this will happen.
In terms of deals All the Anime do great sales and in the past they have delivered just not at a fast pace, patience is the aim of the game here. However in terms of this recent order and the lack of customer service, I am really disheartened and I would very much caution buyers going forward, I’m not sure what has changed or why.
I placed an order with this company nearly two weeks ago and it still has not been fulfilled, this despite every item ordered showing as in stock and available. I have also sent two emails both over a week ago and I have not had a reply. They are currently running a large sale which would explain some sort of delay but nearly two weeks and still no dispatch is completely unreasonable, more so considering the order was over £100.
The complete lack of customer service is very worrying, even the worst companies I have dealt with have at least responded to correspondence, this company have just been completely silent. I don't understand how they think it is acceptable to not respond in over a week, how can a companies customer service department be so poor when they are taking such large amounts of money from their customers.
They are also known for putting out defective products and taking unreasonable amounts of time to rectify the problems that is if the bother to do that at all. There is currently an issue with an expensive box set they have sold where one of the discs is defective and they are just not responding to emails asking for an update on their plans to fix it.
When you add all these serious issues together it makes it virtually impossible to recommend buying from this company. Stay away unless you absolutely have to shop with them.
Ordered a few blu-rays about two weeks ago that, according to the website, were not out of stock.
The have not shipped so far, and there has been no communication at all about that order since I got the initial order confirmation.
The FAQ on their website states that orders are usually fulfilled within 48h and may take up to 5 days.
After 4-5 days passed I contacted their support regarding that and another order I am waiting for.
Haven't heard anything from them since, aside from an automatic reply when I submitted my support ticket.
I don't thing they are trying to scam but they definitely take ridiculously long to fulfill orders and to reply to support requests.
In the meantime it took another retailer, Anime On Line, 2 days to fulfill an order AND to reply to a support ticket. So it seems to be possible to do these things in a reasonable timeframe.
Therefore, I suggest ordering basically anywhere else than from All The Anime.
I had made a mistake on an order (I’d ordered multiple copies of an item and didn’t realise till after checkout)
I emailed the next day and by noon, the issue had been resolved and I received a very friendly email confirming that the refund had been applied.
Huge thank you to Lauren from the team for her help.
Definitely recommend
Fantasic website for everything Anime really huge range
