I am writing this to warn other JEE aspirants and parents. My daughter is already under immense pressure preparing for JEE at PW Noida, and we bought the Allen course to provide her extra guidance. Unfortunately, the course quality is far below the 'Kota standard' they brag about.

Unmet Promises: The depth of lectures and material promised at the time of admission is missing.

Refund Issues: Despite our genuine concerns about the course quality, they have refused to refund the fee. They simply told us, 'We will not refund anything.'

It is heartbreaking to see a big institute take money from parents who are already struggling with hostel and coaching expenses and then provide a sub-par product. Avoid them if you value your money and your child's future.

Title: "Mixed Experience with Allen Pune (Swargate) for Class 9 Foundation – Could Be Much Better"

I took admission in Allen Career Institute, Swargate Pune, in Phase 3 for Class 9 Pre-Nurture batch, and my overall experience was average with some highs and many lows.

✔️ What went well:
The Olympiad preparation segment is definitely the best part of Allen. Their approach is exam-focused and high-quality in that domain. They also completed most of the syllabus by April and May, which is a good thing for early revision.

They provided access to online classes via the Allen app, which I’d say is about 50% efficient compared to offline learning. Not great, but not totally useless either.

❌ Where they lack:
The biggest issue was the lack of care for the remaining syllabus after the main sessions were over. They didn’t really support the students who needed a few chapters revised or completed. Also, the doubt-solving system is very inconvenient. Students are expected to physically come to the doubt centre, which is not affordable or practical for lower middle-class families who live far.

They only conduct classes 2–3 times a week, mostly on weekends or big days. Other coaching institutes provide daily classes, which keeps the student in regular academic rhythm. Allen also conducts only one test per month, whereas other institutes focus more on weekly assessments.

📉 Final thoughts:
If you’re seriously preparing for Olympiads, Allen might be a strong choice. But for Class 9 and 10 foundation, I personally think there are better coaching institutes that provide more consistency, care, and class frequency.

Huge let down by the service
Allen's refund policy is scam at worst and tone-deaf at best.The management team won't listen to your problems or try to solve them. Why do they deduct 30,000 Rs from fees even if the child hasn't even attented much lectures?and this policy they won't ever tell you upfront about it at the time of admission. They don't take lower installment they want 60% fees at time of admission. Now i understand why as they want to cut 30,000 out of it. Its a scam. Even local colleges and classes refund full fees if you just go for one day or one week. They don't even have demo lecture system. I don't understand the hype of this classes when their policy is predatory.even if you didn't attend any lectures or attended for just one day they will still deduct 30,000 out of whatever fees you paid. And this policy is not spoken clearly at the time of admission. I request them to change their policy and only deduct amount for T-shirts, bags and books given. Or else keep a system of having one or two demo lectures so students could judge if they want to continue the course or not without wasting their parents hard earned money.
