Excellent photo printers
I ordered some prints and they was printed the next working day. But, the delivery took longer than usual and when they arrived, I was very delighted - Thank you!. Considering where they was printed which was Germany, you cannot complain and with how much the prints cost. If you want prints that are 100% but not in a rush, then use Aldi prints, after seeing the images, they are good.
I am happy with Aldi Prints !
I ordered some prints recently to see what they were like and I was very pleased with the results, good value for money and good quality prints... no complaints from me ! Also, just ordered some more this week.
Great service
Uploaded photos on Monday, dispatched Tuesday, received Saturday, very satisfied, well within the time limits, glad I ignored the poor reviews by some.
Have ordered more prints, dispatched next day again.
They don't offer instant gratification
They don't offer instant gratification, but they do offer quality printing at a very competitive price. My advice - use them, just plan ahead! I have never used them to print a calendar, and sadly their sizes/styles are more limited than I wanted (Apple user) so will have to look elsewhere now Apple have pulled out of that market.

First time ordered been 11 days still not arrived. May be cheaper but id stick to trurprint or bonus print .arrive much quicker

ALDI - best in UK
ALDI photo service are the best so far I used in uk. You may wait longer for delivery but quality is brilliant especially if you consider price. They use Fuji premium paper for photo prints and Lab is located in Eastern Germany...that's why you wait longer...but imagin 5 p for 6x4 print and only small charge for delivery below 2 pounds/ only bigger items are more expensive but still cheapest on uk market...ALDI beat every service...I tried all and this is best.Well done ALDI

This has to be the worst company on the planet.
uploaded photos no problem on the website.
got an e-mail a few days later saying my order had been dispatched.
Two weeks later still waiting, tracking Info said had been dispatched but nothing else.
Contacted customer service said they would look into It.
Got an e-mail back saying there was some sort of error at the printing plant and my photo's had never even been printed never mind dipatched, Now waiting on a refund If anything like the rest of the lies they have told will be waiting on this forever.
Ruined the surprise for my grandaughter's christmas.
Avoid them like the plague complete waste of time and money.
No stars if an option - terrible service
I would include no stars if that was an option. Stay clear of this service. I never received my delivery and when I chased told my order was lost in production. A simple photo print which was required as Christmas gifts for grandparents and I have no time now to look elsewhere without extortionate delivery costs. A quick apology email telling me they no longer have my photos so can't do the job and refund. No offer to resend and reprint just the easy option. I normally use Snapfish or other sites but thought I'd go here due to the cost but now I know why so cheap. Never again.
Great price, poor service and slow site
Really disappointed when our photos arrived that only 2 out of 200+ photos were actually printed 6x4. We selected the autocropping options, and each photo stated it would be the correct 6x4 size, and this was also on our email receipt and invoice, yet they weren't printed correctly.
I contacted customer service immediately on receiving them. In their response, they wrote about the photos being printed at a different size because they don't crop out any part of them. This seemed like an excuse given that all the photos HAD BEEN cropped! Each was missing small bits around all edges. They refunded half the money, and gave a voucher code for £5. Had we spent more money on the prints, I would have continued to pursue a full refund, as even on their paperwork they stated we'd ordered 6x4 prints, which they hadn't provided, so they hadn't upheld their part of the contract.
I also found that their website could be very slow in loading various pages, including the upload page and the checkout/basket, which wasted a lot of my time. I definitely wouldn't recommend the service, which is a shame as the price is great.
Use Vistaprint not Aldi !!
Still waiting for a photo order that I sent 5 WEEKS ago , although of course Aldi took my money the day after I sent the order , would you like some advice - use Vistaprint - very efficient and good price and VERY quick , Aldi - I will NEVER use you again for photos .
Isn't very clear that photos are…
Isn't very clear that photos are imported from Germany, I'm running a business so 2 weeks for delivery is unacceptable, it will only be worse after brexit. Not all photos were the same size and the larger ones were damaged in transit. Also it was shipped with Yodel who are useless
Terrible
Slow. First set never arrived. I contacted them and they said reprint or refund.
I asked for a reprint and after 3 weeks vs initial order I am still waiting.
I said its unacceptable yet they refuse to refund. Its reprint or refund. Not both.
Disgusting customer service. Will never use again. Rather spend a bit more for decent service.
Aldi photos different sized
Hello!
I also ordered 6x4" Aldi photos and they came in all different sizes. I have now SOLVED THIS!
I worked out if you want to crop photos yourself (so you can choose which parts of the photo you want to chop off and don't loose any heads or anything) you have to select 'no crop' then on some photos it'll say 'image exceeds max size, please select area to print by clicking scissor icon.' Click the scissor icon then select 2:3 on the 'aspect ratio' drop down menu. The default is 'variable' which is why the photos are coming out as differently sized for some people.
Then your photos should print as 6x4.
Very confusing, they should change the instructions on their website to make them a lot clearer!
The quality is great and the price cheaper than anywhere else I've found so I do think it's worth it especially once you've solved the different sizes problem!
Good as long as you know what to expect
The delivery time was slow but within the stated times on the website and the tracking worked for me the whole was through.
The quality of the photos is actually really good, much better than what you get from the Asda and Tesco kiosks.
I do echo what others have reported though, the size of the photographs is exceptionally varied. I ordered around 300 6x4 photos and received a wide array of sizes, from 4x4 to 7x4. Having examined the photos I think this is down to the original device that was used to capture the photo. From my digital SLR I received consistent 6x4s, from my iPhone 5x4, from my friends android 7x4 and the 4x4 images were those that had been subsequently used on Instagram. So not what I ordered but I can almost see why it's happened.
I would use again but be aware of the points raised by others if you're expecting quick service or the exact size you ordered!
Poor delivery service and response
Unacceptable response to fact Yodel delivered photos to an unknown address although claimed they had been posted through my letterbox. Thankfully a genuine person (not a neighbour) brought them to me. I was told these things were out of their hands - Yodel has a terrible reputation - I would suggest they change their courier! I have used Aldi for my photos for several years but will not be using again.
Great Service
I have used Aldi photos 6 times. Very good value for money I have had no problems whatsoever great service.
Excellent Service, Great Quality and Fantastic Value for Money
I regularly order photobooks from other "professional" photograph printers as I shoot several weddings each year, these can cost more than £100 each. On this occasion I simply wanted a record of our 2018 holidays and decided to ignore the negative comments and order from Aldi. I'm so pleased I did. A 49 page book cost just £24 including postage. The software was fairly intuitive to use, the order process was simple and the book was delivered exactly 7 days after placing my order. The print quality is excellent truly recreating the colours and content of the original images. I'm sorry that others seem to be unhappy but I can only comment on my own experience which has been excellent.
Used to be good but now shockingly bad!
Used to be good but no longer the case, I used them for photos every other month for a year and they were great quality with fast delivery by royal mail but then suddenly changed carriers and I made an order and it took over 2 weeks to arrive, they mostly ignore emails and tracking don't work. I thought it was a blip so gave them another chance but no 3 weeks this time! I gave them one more try as I couldn't not believe that after being so reliable before that things could stay downhill but it got worse, this time they never even arrived but yodel said that they had delivered them! Also if it hadn't have been for the paypal dispute service I wouldn't have got my money back. Never again now!
Shockingly poor
Shockingly poor
Only given 1* because I couldn't give no stars.
Absolutely shocking. Don't use. The customer service is non existent, they do not respond to emails, the lead time is a lie, the tracking does not work even after a week, and they have managed to ruin a 21st birthday
Very pleased overall
I went ahead with my Aldi photo order despite the poor reviews here. My photos arrived well packaged today and I must say I am very pleased with the quality of my photos. I placed my order on the 15th of August and received a note on the 20th of August saying the order had been dispatched. The website says the order can take between 4-8 business days to arrive from the dispatch date and that is exactly what happened. It took 8 days from that time to arrive but the website does state this. My experience overall has been very positive and I would use the Aldi photo service again.
