Sorry about that confusion!
Our review emails are automated based on the estimated dispatch timeline, so occasionally they can arrive a little early if there’s a delay between order processing and the parcel physically leaving the fulfilment centre.
Definitely not intentional — we completely appreciate how odd it looks being asked to review something that hasn’t even arrived yet.

This has ruined all of my daily t-shirts. It’s left a horrible wet stain, that’s impossible to come out. It looks like I’ve been sweating before I’ve ever wore my t shirt. 5 Uniqlo t shirts binned at £20 each. If you want to bin your items. Buy this, it’ll give you an excuse to bin some stuff.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I know we are emailing about this separately with you, but just to reiterate that our formula’s designed not to stain clothes. If you’ve noticed white marks, these usually appear when clothes go on too soon after applying. They’re often easy to lift with a damp cloth or in the wash. For best results, we recommend giving the balm a moment to absorb and settle into its powder finish before dressing.
Other marks, like yellowing or darker patches, are often down to the body’s natural chemistry. Sweat contains pigments (such as lipofuscin) which can cause yellow, green or brown stains, and this can vary depending on things like diet, stress or lifestyle. Occasionally, reactions with other products (like skincare, detergents or perfumes) can also lead to discolouration.
All of our products are thoroughly tested — and if any ingredient had the potential to stain, we’d be required to flag that clearly on our packaging.
Poor Service
I returned an item, almost 30 days after receiving confirmation that AKT had received the item, I still hadnt received a refund. After emailing they finally initiated a refund but no acknowledgement of their poor performance or an apology. Left unimpressed and with the impression this may happen regularly with other returns

Used to be really good
Used to be really good, but the service has gone downhill badly.
I tried placing an order over the course of three days using mobile, my work PC, and my home PC, but the website constantly froze or got stuck in loops. In the end, I spent more than 30 minutes on live chat trying to get help before giving up and ordering elsewhere.
This isn’t the first time either. Last month I had two separate orders within the same period, both with similar issues, although thankfully they were eventually resolved. Unfortunately, the amount of time and effort it now takes just to place an order simply isn’t worth it.
The whole system feels broken — you can’t log in properly, password resets send you round in circles, and the website repeatedly jams up. Really disappointing considering how reliable the service used to be.

Service failure
Whilst I love this product the latest event for me has and will put me off buying again. Due to circumstances I am not around to use the next order. On Friday at 05.24 I received an email advising my next order was due but I had until 9am to amend it - I went into the link which navigated everywhere but to amend the order. When I finally got in ( the time was 7.03 when I spotted the email) it said the window for amendment was no longer open. And said there is 1.5 hours left to amended / edit an order. Who really reads their emails at 5.24 in the morning. This is a way to trap people to send early emails which have a very short time scale to amend - I have emailed AKT and my bank about this but nothing from AKT at all. Well I lie I received a thank you for my order. Now it seems everyday I get something from them like marketing info - pretty disgusting
UPDATE - yes I was sent a reminder 3 days before which clearly I didn't see and I have explained the personal circumstances I face- however the point I'm trying to make is the "then" email gave me the final chance to amend my order which was not valid - regardless of how many reminders may or may not have been sent you should not send emails giving a time frame to edit order only to find "the window is closed" yet you are within time. Like I say I like the product but the admin not so much - refund has been offered as a result of my query eventually so that's good for me so thank you

Excellent product!
Started using their deodorant balm last week. In the past with every other product I've needed to reapply and I'm still not fresh by the end of the day. So this product has solved that. I've applied once in the morning and during this hot weather, not smelt. It's lasted through the night as well. Highly recommend!

I LOVE the AKT deodorant balm
I LOVE the AKT deodorant balm! After years of using the same brand in the one I needed to find something better for my body but one that had to work (no one likes stinky pits!), I found AKT.
The scents are gorgeous and they are long lasting. The only reason it’s not a five star is, it takes a while to get used to the tube and to learn how not to cause a split in it.
It’s a keeper! X

Great product but issues.
I love AKT and will continue my subscription because the deodorant is genuinely excellent — there really isn’t anything else like it on the market.
My issue is with a recent promotional bundle. I was able to place an order successfully, but a week later I received an email saying the bundle was out of stock and that my order had been refunded.
What made this frustrating is that the individual products included in the bundle were still available to buy separately on the website with no apparent stock issues.
As a subscriber, it felt disappointing that I wasn’t able to access the promotional offer, especially when the products themselves were still available. It’s a shame because I was looking forward to trying the body wash and likely would have added it to my subscription.
I still think AKT is a great company with fantastic products, which is why this experience was disappointing enough for me to leave a negative review.

I completely understand why this situation felt frustrating and disappointing. You successfully placed your order, only to find out a week later that the promotional bundle couldn’t be fulfilled, while the individual products still appeared available on the site. From your perspective, that understandably doesn’t feel right, especially as a subscriber who was excited to try the Body Wash through the offer.
The issue came down to the bundle stock itself selling out separately from the individual products, but we absolutely appreciate that this distinction wasn’t clear from the customer side, and the delay in communicating it only added to the frustration. That’s feedback we’re taking seriously because we never want loyal customers to feel overlooked or let down.
We’re genuinely sorry for the disappointment here, particularly as you were looking forward to exploring more of the range. Feedback like yours helps us improve how we manage and communicate promotional stock moving forward.

I love everything about AKT
I love everything about AKT. Apart from the fact that their deodorant is unsurpassable in its prowess (designed by performers to deal with sweat galore), their customer service is amazing. I had an issue with my latest tube in that it was leaking. I contacted them and they immediately sent me a replacement within a couple of days. The price might look expensive compared to high street brands but one tube lasts for months as you really don’t need to use very much at a time. Plus - performance wise, I find that it works anywhere on the body (including the forehead, nose and cheeks if you put it underneath your foundation) and the scents are lovely without being overpowering. I would never use another brand now!
