Awit door camera is absolutely useless since the company are even taking off the customers the ability to look at a motion detect video so now you cant even look at whos at your door WITHOUT SUBSCRIPTION ......THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND RIPPING PEOPLE OFF......AVOID AVOID AWIT THEY ARE UNTRUTHFUL AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONE EXISTENT........KEEP AWAY FROM THIS CON ARTIST SO CALLED COMPANY.

Aiwit took £79 per year for access to the cloud. Yet they switch my Motion Detection off. My wife was assaulted and surprise surprise there is NO footage due to the cowboy company not sticking to what was purchased. STAY AWAY they refuse to fix

I paid for a subscription for my doorbell camera in 2024 -2025 and the service was very good. I recently renewed my service paying £29.99 on 7th April 2026. To date even though the device works, I have not received the service I paid for. I contacted Customer Services via the app and no one is replying. I am having the same problem when emailing support. I contacted my bank to get the money bank but I have to give it 14 days before making my complaint. I do not recommend at all.

Giving model HT60 light bulb security camera ONE STAR is one star too many. The thing never worked and when I sought help, some chatbot tried to get me to pay $5 to answer my tech support question about set up. The thing will not set up at all. The device will not even charge. I was sold a piece of plastic junk. It’s an over-priced decoy.

What a pile of rubbish. Can’t access any of the video without a subscription and since the latest update you can’t even accces the live doorbell video feed without a subscription also. Total rip off and definitely not worth the small amount of money saving over slightly more expensive brands that you at least have free access to live doorbell video feed to speak to delivery persons, postman etc.

Disappointed that after time passes you need a subscription to view even live feed of your cameras; no storage involved. You can’t really own what you purchase anymore as these companies can’t satisfy their greed and sell customers products that will last. They need to bleed you dry and not let you own what you bought; if you don’t fork up the dough you basically bought a hunk of plastic and microchips with no function.

It's a scam folks, just checked my camera it won't let me on unless I pay...its all greed you have been warned by lots of people on here, stay away from this company and cameras

Charged me 3 times in a month for subscription. When asked for my refund they never even answered.

I bought a subscription for or my ring doorbell and the system is not compatible with my WiFi and device. I have reported it and asked back for a refund as I need to search for another doorbell but I'm not getting a response from them and I found a way online and it's asking me for for £1 to pay and my bank details which will set me up for a yearly subscription for technical support which I don't need. I just want a refund to move on.

Totally rubbish company no way to contact them apart from chat.
They cut me off and are asking me to subscribe again, I subscribe in November for 1 year I'm only 4 months into the contract.

If I could give a zero I would. When I first set up at my 1st home it was okay but when I moved and wanted to reset it wanted me to do a subscription., don’t wast your money., go with a ring .

It is impossible to use the live feed unless you subscribe to a paid service and Awit put an ad on the live feed and you cant get rid of it a real scam

Bought this video doorbell several months ago and it was ok.
I could view the live feed when someone was at the door once I had managed to bypass the nightmare ad's.
I've now gone in to view the live feed and it's asking me to subscribe (Take a hike).
If you see the brand Aiwit avoid at all costs.

I have this doorbell. This is total breach of international trade laws that after selling ur doorbell u r asking to subscribe for live view. This was not the terms when u sold the doorbell.

I have a aiwit Camera which l pay an annual fee which l was happy with as it gave me viewing and cloud storage recovery. BUT NOW l need to add just one more camera for only "viewing only"abd they now need an annual subscription. What a rip off, as they said on the Amazon site the product could be used for viewing only with no subscription. I if l could give a minus 5 l would

They decided last month to go to subscribe only. Doorbell is now switching off and cannot access on app. Battery has gone flat since app doesn’t talk any more. Going on the bin

It used to be a half decent doorbell camera. Two way talk was not good at all. However, the picture was decent and with no subscription. Now, I have a doorbell camera that is completely useless unless I get a subscription. A heads up from Aiwit would have been good. Instead they just block those functions basically holding them at will unless you pay. I think the reason I bought this camera was because they did not have a subscription required. It's basically trash now. Not everyone can afford a subscription for every little thing.

Watch when your buying any cctv cameras from any online sites and make sure they not linked with Aiwit!!! This company blocks you from using your camera freely ,Bought my camera over a year ago where you have to install aiwit app , it worked fine and suited my needs but now its blocking all access of use not unless I sign up to own of their subscriptions, this has to be illegal and will be looking into this, what rip off merchants these are!!! AIWIT Remember that name.

All of a sudden after 1 ½years I have to buy a subscription for the doorbell?? NOPE! Going to delete the app. Not worth it.
