The website’s terrible but the reps are good

The website’s terrible. Don’t bother with the online claim - I put in claims twice and got zero response. The only way to get your stuff back is via the online chat, that only worked for me when I figured out I had to disable my ad blockers. And I had to watch it like a hawk to pounce on the 10s the reps aren’t on another call. But… when I did get through, I got my claim dealt with quickly and efficiently and the the rep couldn’t have been nicer.

Kids lost an iPad on a flight to LGW.

Notified Airlinelostproperty via the portal. A couple of days later they identified the lost iPad and now just over a week after losing, it's back at our house and the kids are happy.

Great service, thanks!

How can this place be so bad

How can this place be so bad? My Mum left her walker at Stansted airport. I know they had it because the airport rang me, but then they sent it to this black hole and since then I have zero information. The live chat is never online. You can't phone them. It's been 20 days and I'm still waiting for any kind of response. Total grifters. Stansted airport you should be ashamed to outsource lost luggage to them.

A scam

Total Scam
If I could give fewer than 5 Stars I would. I left my iPad on a flight from Lisbon on 26th April and tracked it down to First Flight/Airline Lost Property’s address via Find My App. I paid £30 to Lost Found (Ryanair’s website had link to them for finding lost property on their flights).
Neither organisation has responded to my notifying them of the laptop’s location and I’ve come to the conclusion both are scams.
Total disgrace that Ryanair does nothing to help customer’s who lose things on flights. My iPad belonged to my now dead mother and has sentimental value, quite apart from needing it for my work.
I’ve wasted hours trying to access Airline Lost Property. The so-called live chat is never live and, even though I believe I’ve identified my iPad on their list of lost items, I’ve heard nothing.
It would be better for customers if neither organisation pretended to help people. That way they would not waste time.
Disgusted

Extremely disappointing experience.

My elderly father's wallet was recovered and handed in to Airline Lost Property at Stansted Airport. We were assured it was safe and secure, yet when it was eventually returned, bank cards had been removed and used fraudulently at Stansted Airport, resulting in money being stolen from his account.

To make matters worse, we paid £30 for the wallet to be returned, the delivery was delayed, and the company has refused to refund the fee despite the service not being delivered as expected and the wallet being returned incomplete.

When we raised our concerns and requested an investigation, Airline Lost Property simply stated that no internal investigation would be undertaken and directed us elsewhere. There appears to be little accountability and no willingness to properly address serious concerns regarding the handling of customers' property.

The whole experience has caused significant distress to my 80-year-old father. Based on our experience, I would have very little confidence in entrusting valuable items to this lost property service.

Awful awful awful

Awful awful awful. Left my handbag on an easyjet flight coming into Gatwick as it had slipped from site under the seat in front. Registered it on this site, but nothing has been updated all day and there is literally no way to contact anyone. The so called Live Chat is never live - the one time i did get through, it just kicked me out. Considering this is a paid for service (you have to pay to get your stuff back once/if they find it), this is absolutely abysmal. As previously mentioned, the website is written by a 9 year old with a laptop in circa 1970 - never seen anything so awful. Hard to assume anything is going on here other than the company keeping all the goods and selling them on, unless they really are worth nothing.

The worst service imaginable

The worst service imaginable. If you leave an item on any Easyjet flight, good luck getting it back! Easyjet chose this service to be cheap and lazy. I can see exactly where my item is as it has an airtag. They told me they have it and yet it's taking weeks before each response. Oh and their chat service is only open from 9am to 1pm. What a joke.

Awful service - pure theft of my lost item

Awful service. My son left his headphones on a Jet2 flight. A passenger said they saw we'd left them and handed them to a staff member. We were told to register online to find out how to collect them. Nearly 3 weeks later we haven't had a reply. I've tried their online chat and been told they will look into it. I've asked for the status of my open claim and they say they have nothing on record. Total Scam!!!!

Lost iPad on Ryanair Flight – No Follow-Up from Stansted or Ryanair

I accidentally left my iPad on a Ryanair flight into Stansted. Fortunately, my sister-in-law was on the return flight and spoke directly with the crew, who confirmed they had found the iPad and handed it in. I immediately reported the loss to Ryanair’s agent, but since then—nothing. No updates, no contact, no resolution. It’s incredibly frustrating knowing that someone at Stansted has my iPad, yet there’s no clear process or support to recover it.

Truly impressed. Fast received my belongings

Truly impressed. I want to say huge thank you to the whole team.

I recently lost a gray handbag during my flight and reported it through airlinelostproperty.com. I found the item listed on their site and submitted a claim.
To my surprise, everything was handled within 24 hours – I received my belongings back at home, including cash (a considerable amount), completely untouched.

Given the many negative reviews online, I expected delays or complications, but the team proved to be extremely professional, efficient and honest.
I'm truly impressed by the speed and integrity shown throughout the process. Thank you for restoring my trust in such services – you deserve recognition, particular Ashleigh.

waste of time and energy…

I don't believe there are ANY staff at this service - they NEVER have anyone available for live chat even in opening hours.
How can Easy Jet a reputable company use this service as their official lost property service - a complete waste of time, hope they don't pay them anything!
