Faulty MP3 and Terrible Customer Service

I had the M3PL 64 GB version, and it worked great for a bit but then just began to freeze while I was trying to add music to the playlist. I tried to call the customer service number but it seemed to be just one guy in New York and didn't even answer the phone identifying the company he worked for. He wouldn't let me finish telling him the problem before he interrupted me, but even then he didn't sound like he knew at all what he was talking about. He was kind of rude, and didn't seem to know the model I was talking about, either. So, in short, customer service was awful and the product was faulty. Just one guy in Brooklyn is NOT a troubleshooting team.

There is something inherently wrong with chinese engineering.

There is something inherently wrong with chinese engineering and manufacturing. I got a model M2PL MP3 player and it was garbage right outta the box. I tried to get some help over the net, and wherever my connection ended up the screen just sat there until after a while ( long while) it came up with a message "Blocked due to program on your computer". Which is chinese for, "I can't get into yourt PC and rummage around at will so go fk yourself."

I own 2 Agptek IMP MP3 players

I own 2 Agptek IMP MP3 players. Recently upgraded to Windows 10. Agptek manual says to use Media Go to store and transfer files. Sony no longer supports Media Go and recommends Music for PC which did not download properly. Has anyone come up with another alternative? Windows Media transfers files but the IMP does not register the name of the playlist.

I bought one of their A02 mp3 players…

I bought one of their A02 mp3 players 3-4 years ago. The player is fine and dependable but will not connect to file management software (that I've found) other than now-obsolete Sony Mediago. The research of which exposed the fact that AGPTEK's customer service is WORTHLESS. They are out of a Brooklyn phone/office somewhere, and all calls to there are never returned, or answered. Their c.s. response emails, when you get any after weeks, are obscure (Chinese barely understanding English or?) and replies, if/when any, are equally robotic. If you buy any of their stuff, just be ready to be on your own.

AGPTEK S18 8GB IPX8 Not Fit For Purpose

I purchased a AGPTEK S18 8GB IPX8 Waterproof Clip MP3 Player using elepANT Amazon market place on 29 July 2017 (this being appoxixmately 18 months ago

Unfortunately the MP3 has packed up - refusing charge up or play

I would venture to say that although the item surpassed the declared 12 month warranty the 18 months of useful life does not warrant the player fit for purpose

Please be wary when purchasing such an item

AGPTEK mp3 player is just awesome

This mp3 player is just awesome. Once I learned how to use it and where my music was its a great little MP3 player. The best thing is the battery lasts days and days. I have been playing it at work over 8 hours a day for over 6 days and it still hasn't reached 1/2 power life. Highly recommend.
