Every time you go to Affordable dentures everyone is so nice

The experience was great on many levels Level-1 the (frontline) Receptionist was very welcoming while being professional. The inside crew continued the service. They were also pleasant and professional. My experience was great. I will continue to use this service.

Clean atmosphere. Very good communication and appointment reminders. Best price on tooth extractions. Friendly and cheerful staff.

Completely ignored what I wanted done. Wanted to “sell” me upwards of $10,000 of work. $4k was unnecessary rework of an existing implant bridge which was fine. $6k in a lower with implants which I did not want. Also, the painful tooth needing extraction was TOTALLY ignored which was the reason I was there in the first place.
Nope…going to a dentist who will listen and with American memberships and diplomas on the wall!

I went to my assessment appointment and saw the dentist . I feel the affordable option for me needs to be revisited . The dentist told me possible options however the worker that went over the paperwork kept trying to push me more toward exspence I can not afford . The front desk clerk kept dropping the ac temp throughout my visit making an already nerve racking visit worse . I am not sure I will be returning .

I had called to make an appointment to have my dentures relined, it had been 10 years or so since having them made.
I came in and had to fill out a lot of new paperwork, when I was in the chair being attended to, I was asked several questions about which I had just fill out the paperwork for. When I questioned the assistant she told me that people write down answers then change them ! I didn’t understand that because I don’t.
Then, she asked me what my name was after I had written it down at least a dozen times when filling out the paperwork, it was as if she didn’t believe my name was Kim because I am a male.
Then, she wanted to take some pictures and I assumed she meant Xrays so I told her that I didn’t need Xrays because I was there to have my dentures relined.instead of letting me know that she only wanted to take pictures of the inside of my mouth she went and got more paperwork to sign, some kind of waver or release?
So after she took the pictures the Dr came in to tell me that my dentures were too worn to reline and that he would have to make new ones.
I told him that they worked just fine, but were getting loose and I was using more adhesive and I just wanted them relined.
The Dr told me that it would be illegal and unethical to recline them and that the assistant would be in to talk about the plan of action and financing.
So she did that and showed me a photo chart of the different options for dentures and the costs. I thought the name “ affordable dentures “ meant just that ! Not so !
And you talk about UNETHICAL, why would there be four different products ranging in price ? Why wouldn’t you want to make the best product at the best price for everyone ? I felt insulted and embarrassed and ashamed then I got angry when the assistant showed me different teeth color samples and to think that someone would have to pay more money to have white teeth ? That’s terrible !
So if I don’t pay the most you can charge, then I will have dingy and dull looking teeth ?
I’m still mad about it all .

The desk lady who checked me in was friendly and professional. As soon as I was called to come back, that lady was not only very dry but a bit hateful too. She hurt my head in the xray (moved the clamp extremely fast with no warning) and wanted me to remove body jewelry below my shoulders. I didnt act hateful to these thi hs because I wanted honest advice and maybe a dash of compassion. Fast forward 15 min and the doc came in. Also very dry in personality, he looked at me for just a few seconds and told me he wouldn't be able to do implants but had a friend who could starting at 90k. I said "well, okay then" then he said okay then and proceeded to just stare at me. I said well, thanks then and i got up and left he never said thanks, smiled or anything. I wont be back

Got my denture implant a couple of weeks ago & I have not needed an adjustment. It fits well!

All of the staff was great. They were very nice, patient and understanding. I may have the date incorrect.

I had no problems and everyone was friendly courtious.

The most traumatizing experience with a dentist. I got dentures and extractions and all i can say is stay away from metairie la location. He left bones sticking out my mouth and shoved dentures that had 2 inches of material that wasnt fitting and he just kept shoving them back. Destroyed my gums. Have never been able to wear dentures. Have donkey mouth. You go back and everytime quick reline and out the door donkey. They are telling lies dont want to refund so i sent out certified letter today. They have 14 days to return all money or i will file suit. Dentures teethe are crooked and sticking out. Just horrible. The staff changed from awesome to very arrogant after they got money. I have my new dentist and witnesses and all the proof i need to make this right. Either they follow orders or let a judge order it. But i will get back every penny . And do not bring your dentures back. They dont want you to have any proof of the crap they are putting out. Keep them until you are made whole again. That dentist should not be in practice.

The staff are so nice

My elderly father moved to live with me. He had a started an implant while living and his hometown, I’ve asked them for a refund because he is not returning there because they refused to send the completed implant to another one of their locations because it’s against company policy. They are a chain and being a chain and having the same corporate office, you should be able to continue service with another office for example, if you’re out of town and you have had an issue, you can’t go to Affordable Dentures & Implants in that city because they will not cover another offices work. I understand they all have different doctors, but I also understand that they are corporation that corporation is covering every one of their offices. This is ridiculous if I were you, I would never step foot in there. This is my second bad experience with them from when my now deceased brother had to have dentures in the first pair broke. It took nine months to get him another pair of dentures, which is not right he had Parkinson’s. He needed those teeth and they withheld them for nine months. To me this is a poorly run business they care about the money at each office not the people. And by the way, this started with my father, August 2025.

We waited well past our appointment time, but that seemed to be due to being short staffed. Staff was very friendly. I'm a little disappointed that we have to wait an entire month before getting our dentures, and still won't be able to take them with us on the second visit. My wife and I are current denture wearers. I am hopeful that this is to guarantee proper fit. If not, any money saved will be nullified by having to take time off of work for multiple visits.
