ADCB Bank has charged excessive fees…

ADCB Bank has charged excessive fees for cryptocurrency purchases made using their credit card. For each transaction, they impose a heavy cash advance fee of AED 100 plus 5% VAT, along with additional finance charges. Despite paying my statement dues promptly, unexplained fees continue to accumulate. This makes using their services for crypto-related transactions extremely costly and unreasonable. Transparency and fairness in charges are lacking."

Banking kinda works, but ...

Banking kinda work (WIO Business), but
:-( 12 hours wait between entering a payee and being able to make a payment - not professional
:-( long list of types of payment, but no "normal" like payment for local service or purchase of goods; only fancy stuff most companies would never do, at least not in day-to-day business
:-( only one mobile; no web interface
WIO only exists because UAE / Dubai did not manage to introduce easy to access banking. WIO bank account set up (personal and business) was kanda OK, questions maybe a bit too intrusive, but I guess that is what banks do nowadays.

I honestly hope they can fix those issues. It would be good for the country and the UAE economy.

i lost 5834 aed without sharing the otp…

i lost 5834 aed without sharing the otp ,and i was bathing at that moment..
more over they not even verified about the changing the settings by scammers,and transfer of amount not holded,more over installing app on new phones,transfer of amount without face pass...

incident happen on5/12/2024 00 :43 am to 1:20 am, i found it and informed them around 2:15 am..

still they cant able to hold amount

no guarantee about our money ..
i hope fab is better

ADCB Hold my international money transation without any reason. I send mail and complaint by adcb site but their reply is ''we close that case". Actually i send that money for ungent hospital case. its very bad service. if we call to their customer care number there is no option to complaint it. So i planning to deactivate ADCB Account.

My credit card was used in a fraudulent…

My credit card was used in a fraudulent transaction for a significant amount. I immediately reported it however the bank could not stop the merchant from claiming it, and informed me it might take up to 120 days to investigate it with a chance of no refund. So even if fraud is reported immediately, while the card was never used on a non-secure website, and while the fraudster could be an in-house employee of the bank, zero support is provided and I might be held liable for this amount stolen. No pin required, no authorization, money can be easily stolen and NO action taken by the month.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. waited 20min on the line nobody answered. after hours of trying finally got connected with someone, only 2min of the call she hang up on me... i wasted almost DH30 calling this customer service and holding my line from many time. Chat service is another pile of garbage nobody care to support.

I had been using my Account in Adcb…

I had been using my Account in Adcb bank for 3 months suddenly it stopped working. My ATM card stopped working & internet banking also got stopped, I searched for a solution and checked my adcb mobile app it's saying " update your emirate ID by contacting the near by branch ". I updated my account using id in my near by adcb branch as soon as possible but because of national day,sunday and other holidays it's saying it won't get updated in the bank server & I couldn't be able to use my account till the next working day....

As a normal employee who is working in uae and 1st time in UAE I don't have any savings.. While everyone celebrating national day I'm here looking at the phone with 400 AED balance & a hungry stomach
, because of my roommate I'm Able to survive here .

As a responsible bank who value there customer I believe..this type of mistake shouldn't be forgotten...

Hopefully this type of mistakes won't happen again

Mustafa amazing caring service

I had a horrible experience with ADCB, where I was charged fees for a credit card I never received or activated which impacted my credit score and report. I called the bank sent emails and they were not helpful at all. The only person who took the time to listen and understand the situation was Mustafa Perumbully the CRM at Mall of the Emirates branch, he was able to resolve the issue with care and respect, ADCB you need more employees like him.

ADCB is the best bank for protecting…

ADCB is the best bank for protecting their customers, i highly recommend everyone to choose ADCB bank as they really care the customer and fight against the fraud. I was almost victim by fraud but the bank had identified the fraud timely and blocked my card immediately even before I called the bank and I was extremely proud and happy that I am using one of the best Bank. Highly appreciated the bank representatives for handling the situation very calmly and carefully. Keep protecting the customers and keep making us happy .

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, website often not working, customer service does not respond, or cannot solve the issue. Online banking is from the 1900's. Even the interface is so old and out of date that the user experience is its a nightmare just to log in.

They blocked my credit card when I was…

They blocked my credit card when I was on vacation due to suspicious activity. Ok, fine. It is a safety measure that can help a lot.
But the process to activate it again was horrible. I had to call a 600 number from abroad several times and at a high cost. No compensation process exist.

Non transparent bank

This is the only bank that will force a credit card you don’t want when you open a savings account and then charge you card fees even if you don’t activate the card and then some absurd amount as late fees on the card fees until you pay to close a card they forced on you .

I’ve been a loyal customer of ADCB for…

I’ve been a loyal customer of ADCB for years, yet I’m now facing restrictions that ADCB claims are mandated by the Central Bank and apply to Armenian, Russian, Ukrainian, and other nationalities. Despite my repeated requests, ADCB has failed to provide any proof that this is an official regulation affecting all these nationalities equally. I personally know many customers from these backgrounds who have not provided TIN information and face no issues with their accounts, which makes me feel unfairly targeted. Additionally, ADCB has repeatedly denied my requests for a meeting with higher management, raising serious questions about their transparency and fairness. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend others not to trust this bank and to stay away if possible.
