Simon was absolutely amazing at our wedding!!
Very good with the children and even took us to the beach to get some amazing pictures!! He went above and beyond for us!! Could not thank him enough!! Felt like we knew Simon for years! Would 1000% recommend!!

We are in awe of the spectacularly beautiful pictures Simon took of our wedding at Sandy Cove Hotel.
After reading what Simon wrote on his website, we felt very safe in the knowledge he would capture our day exactly as we wanted…and he certainly delivered and exceeded our expectations.
All our guests were commenting on what a professional he was and what lovely company he was on our special day. We completely agree! Most of the time we weren’t aware of where he was and as a result the pictures are so beautifully natural and capture special moments between us and our guests which is exactly what we wanted.
Looking through our pictures we were sent on a journey of memories and we love every single one!

Simon has been amazing ever since, from start (inquiry) til the end (pictures being sent) has been amazing! He was very responsive to our queries, has been very accommodating to our requests( my vision and ideas for the wedding pics), is a good sport!(you can actually have a banter with him), chats and tries to mingle with everyone(friendly not flirting hehe) and has a creative way of taking pictures. (my wife's nan actually loved him! they danced at the very end of the party which everyone was so happy about!)
He is very easy to talk to, and gives alot of suggestions (good ones) how would the day flow, what can be the next steps, and goes above and beyond for the pics!

i would suggest to whoever will be booking him, research your poses,pictures,styles, of your wedding photoshoot, and simon will bring it to life 10x more than what you can imagine. ( im very particular with photos[considering that I take alot of photos too], and I did not regret hiring Simon as he did a brilliant job!

We had Simon as our wedding photographer and I CANNOT recommend him enough, we had done a preshoot so when he turned up it was like a friend had arrived. He made us feel so comfortable throughout and had a lot of knowledge of weddings so was able to give words of wisdom/advice to make us feel more relaxed around the whole occasion. Where do I begin with Simon, you are an incredible person & an even more incredible photographer. From the moment we booked you we knew we made the right choice. The most wonderful photos captured, by the best photographer. Simon was so easy to work with, we didn’t realise he was there. He has captured the best memories of our day, which is just what we asked for. He was there from dawn till dusk and even got up on the dance floor. Simon was the photographer for my wedding on the 2nd July and I couldn’t ask for a better photographer. He had so many great ideas for our couples photos which I’m literally obsessed with. He’s so easy to get on with (and by request he wore the most epic doc martens!) he made the photos fun and not a chore. He was also EVERYWHERE we literally got photos that just happened in the moment and they are just beautiful. I couldn’t recommend Simon enough!! He was amazing! And if your wondering how long do you need your photographer I wish I had booked him for longer as I didn’t want the photos to end! 10/10

Simon was awesome and the photos that he took are fantastic!

From the get go Simon met with us to get a feel for what we wanted and to explain a few things about how it works. Throughout the day he was always on point, directing people clearly and ensuring the formal shots were done with "no floating hands". Yet the photos that have blown us away were the more natural shots and the more artistic shots which Simon's judgement was so good on.

He blended into the background when not doing formal shots and gained some truly wonderful character filled photos of touching moments, which we will treasure for many years.

We will try to keep this short, but to save you reading the whole review here's the headline - Simon is absolutely awesome and we believe he would be a great addition to your wedding. In the words of the maid of honour when she saw the first collection of our wedding photos "wow Simon is brilliant, he really knows what he is doing!".

Simon has been a delight at every single stage, from our first email getting in touch, to our engagement shoot, to the all important wedding day itself. Neither of us would claim to be confident in front of the camera, yet Simon put us and our guests at ease with his relaxed and funny nature.

We are extremely grateful for all of the hard work Simon has put in to make sure our wedding day was captured perfectly. Throughout our contact with Simon he has always gone the extra mile and his enthusiasm for getting the perfect shot is certainly catching! We can’t recommend Simon highly enough he wasn’t just our wedding photographer he was one of our guests and now part of the family! We live in London but Devon is our happy place so when we decided to get married in Ilfracombe we knew we had to start searching the internet for local people. As soon as we saw Simon’s website and his photos we knew he would be perfect. From the moment we met he put us at ease and explained everything that we needed to think about for our photos. It was never any trouble to meet us when we visited the venue a year before the day and even with the sea mist and rain he took some amazing Engagement photos for us. Simon was simply amazing the day of the wedding he took away my nerves as soon as I saw him, made me laugh, told us exactly how to pose to get the best photos he stayed with us right to the end to get all the precious photos of our flower girl and page boy and all our guests having a fantastic time on the dance floor.
