I only recently started looking into this company, and I think they're a bunch of crooks. I sent them a gimbal for repair, and they quoted me an exorbitant price. I refused the repair, but I wanted it back. Now they're saying I approved it so they can keep it. I don't recommend this company; they're two-legged rats.

I wish I’d read these reviews prior to sending my router to them for a quote. Most of the replies from them AI generated and complete BS. Do some research. They are involved in many lawsuits, especially in Denver Colorado. DA is investigating them. The quote I received my router was $150 more than buying a new one. It’s a complete scam.

Do Not Proceed

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company and would strongly caution others before doing business with them.
I sent in a camera for repair and, after approving the initial quote, the process quickly became problematic. The device has now been in their possession for several weeks with minimal transparency. More concerning, they are attempting to charge a final balance that exceeds the cost of purchasing the same camera brand new.
At no point did I receive clear or adequate notification regarding any payment deadlines, administrative fees, or risk of additional charges. These fees were later applied and used as justification to withhold my property unless I pay an inflated balance.
This feels like a bait-and-switch model—get the customer’s approval upfront, then layer on fees and policies that were not reasonably communicated, ultimately putting the customer in a position where retrieving their own property becomes financially unreasonable.
A reputable business should operate with transparency, fairness, and common sense. Charging more than the value of the item itself and refusing to return it without payment raises serious concerns about ethics and customer treatment.
I am currently exploring further action to retrieve my property.
Proceed with caution.

This is a terrible business

This is a terrible business. They kept sending me emails that I needed to send them money when I had already agreed to sell them my device. I have the emails and the screenshots that show this. They then kept giving me the check is in the mail line. We are now at the three month mark and I still have not received my payment from the company.

Unite was send for repair with cutting issue returen non function

Unite was send for repair with cutting issue -Came back not printing "After further review, Acme Revival has determined that this Additional Repair Guarantee Claim does not fall within the scope of coverage." $180 later I can’t overstate how disappointed I am with the service. The unit worked until the cutting issue appeared, and after the “repair,” it stopped functioning entirely.

Deceitful thieves

I sent an Arthroscopic Shaver in for repair. The used value for a working unit is $750. The parts value is $400. They wanted $936 to repair it. They offered $18 to buy the device. I declined the repair and wanted the item back. I did not want to sell the item. While checking out to pay the return shipping a small box popped up during the return shipping checkout that said that Acme is purchasing the item. I tried to find a way to stop the process and emailed them directly to tell them this is incorrect and that I wanted the item back. But they responded that there is no way to stop the process and they will not send me my item. They stole nearly $400 from me. Do not send them anything. This place needs shut down!

Telescope returning in exact same condition it left

I had a 30 year old Meade ETX-90 that suffered a battery leak in the battery compartment. Since Meade went bankrupt, I was looking to see if anyone was capable of repairing the unit. A Google search brought up Acme Revival as specializing in repairing my particular model.

I opened a ticket with Acme Revival and received a quote of $324 to repair the unit, which I accepted. Due to the size and weight of the unit, I spent another $50 in shipping fees to get the unit to their technician. To my surprise, the tech got the unit, did a rudimentary cleaning of the battery compartment, indicated he saw current using a volt meter, but did not test that he actually powered on the unit and that his repair worked. The scope was then returned to me.

On receipt of the unit, I found that other than cleaning out the battery compartment the unit did not power on. When I contacted their Help Desk, they attempted to say that because I said the batteries leaked and the unit would not power on, they actually fixed the device based on what I wrote in the ticket and that I did not outline what I expected when it was powered on.

I've gone now a month requesting either a partial refund for incomplete work or they send me a pre-paid shipping label to send the unit back for completion of the work promised in the ticket. All my emails have been ignored.

Please stay away. These guys are complete scammer.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would! These people are total scammers. I had two Ricoh Theta Z1 cameras with a scratched lens cover (the lens cover on the other side was fine on both). At Acme's direction, I sent both units - one for repair and one as a "parts donor". First, they claimed they never got one of the units - however, they were both shipped in the same box. Fortunately, I had photos of the shipment and a signature on the delivery, so they ultimately acknowledged receipt of both units.

Because of the back and forth emailing and general lack of professionalism, I began checking reviews. I wish I had done that sooner! All over the internet are similar complaints and it is apparent these folks are liars and scammers.

Based on that, I did not trust them to repair the unit. So, I agreed to their "buyout" offer. That was in October and as of December 28th, I've received nothing.

However, today, I got another email from these fools stating they were still waiting on my device! I responded accordingly and attached a copy of their email notifying me they had the unit and asking where my piddly $25 buyout payment was.

They are thieves. Stay away from them. If I am in Colorado any time, I will stop by and say hello.

FRAUD

this so called company is a complete scam and committing blatant fraud. they aren't scamming with storage fees anymore but they found another way to commit fraud. Now when you send your product in they give an estimated labor and parts fee that is very steep. Then it takes them months to give you any feedback back if they can or cannot fix it, even though their website says have it looked at and fixed within 2 weeks. Then they finally tell you that your device is unfixable. You have to actually request for your device to be sent back. When you get it back thats when you can request your refund that they will never give you. This month will be 6 months from the first time i requested to get my money back and nothing. They purposely over charge on the labor and parts because they are stealing money and want to get as much from each person as they can. I don't understand how the Colorado AG hasn't shut this company down. And the president, Logan Beck, needs to be in federal prison.

Sent an dental intraoral camera for repair. When repair was finished, could not get an answer as to what was actually repaired to itemize the cost. While waiting for a response, they were charging storage fees and again could not get any return communication from them. Paid repair and storage fees and the camera still has the same issue as before. Very poor service, transparency and repairs.

Acme revival is a scam

Acme revival is a scam! Sent them my drone which had a flight control problem. A few months later they charged me $486 and returned my drone. It still had the same problem. Acme said they would make it right so I returned the drone to them. After several more months and having to threaten to sue they said it was not repairable and they were entitled to a fee so there would be no refund. Finally did get my drone back but it is now completely non functional. It won't even connect to the remote. I have never experienced such a dishonest company!

Device sent in for repairs, after 6 months with no end date in sight I had to request it back so I can send it somewhere else

I originally sent in a medical device that was failing calibration. It was repaired and sent back. Within 1 month of getting it back it started to fail its calibration again so naturally I sent it back to Acme Revival to have them look at it again. This is where my nightmare starts. They had the device for just under 6 months! I contacted them many many times just trying to get a simple update on the repair, often I wouldn't get any reply and the times I did get a reply it was always a generic "thank you for your patience, we are working on it". If I could leave a negative star I would. I have delt with a lot of companies over the years but hope I never encounter one like this again.

Edit: As of 6/12/2025 I still do not have my device returned. It was "sent" on 5/29/2025 however the tracking number never updated and just says UPS doesn't have possession of the package yet. I feel I will need to get authorities involved to get this theft delt with.

Fraud Company

Sent in an amplifier July 2024. Paid for repairs in advance. Was not able to get any information on repair month after month. I finally filed a law suit against Acme (still in progress). After filing the suit, the firm returned my amplifier saying it was repaired. In fact, they had destroyed it (they didn't even bother putting it back together). Owner called me, said I would win in arbitration,, but would never get paid. Fraud company.
