Previously known as The Prestige Car Company

The epitome of dodgy car sales. Purchased a Land Rover from them under their previous name The Prestige Car Company on 24th May, numerous issues with the car, AEB warning light was on when purchased but we were told it was because the battery had been charged and if the light was still illuminated after 2 weeks to take it back and they would fix it. Email sent on 9th June, no reply, numerous phonecalls, voicemails, a letter and emails sent, all ignored. Well within my rights to reject the car for a full refund under Consumer rights, Multiple issues cropping up with the car, took it to a Land Rover specialist and paid £850 for repairs. To then be told that it needs a new AEB module(£1200-£1500) and a whole new engine(£15,000-£18,000) . Left a negative Google review and Facebook review and surprise surprise an email was received the next day by the "Director " of the company apologising for not responding sooner but the salesman had left the company and deleted the emails? Offered to take the car in to look at repairs and told us to take the negative post down within 48 hours due to "factual allegations " When they were told what was wrong with the car they told us to claim on the warranty that was sold with the car...Maximum claim £1000 per repair some not covered! Suddenly the name of the company had changed from The Prestige car company to Acle Motor Company and they we're not taking on the liabilities of the old company as it had ceased trading. A quick search on Companies House shows they have just changed the name, nothing else! Fake reviews have been left on Judge service, supposedly by myself saying great service!! These are one of the most dishonest used car sales around and I would avoid at all costs if you don't want to be fleeced! Currently in talks with Citizens advice and Trading Standards about next steps. Take a look at the reviews for Prestige Car Company on Google, I'm not the first!

Fabulous, friendly and economic

Used them recently, had an interim 70K service and a full wash inside and out. The pricing was fabulous and the wash left the car gleaming inside and out. The service report showed I needed new brake pads and a couple of tyres. I will be honest - I looked around for cheaper but nobody came close. Great company to deal with, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
