I bought this brace after I wore out the one my doctor had originally given me. I have mild foot drop, and he used the ankle brace with the figure eight straps to help pull my foot up so that when I walked I would not trip. It worked wonderfully, but he suggested I might like a lighter weight brace and I could probably find something on the internet. After trying several, I found the Aso ankle brace. I walk about 4 miles a day, and I use the brace for this. I thought it worked pretty well but it would have helped me to have a little padding. The bottom of my foot got really sore during my walk. I don't particularly like the cuff at the top and the brace doesn't fit my foot snugly. It does a fine job of keeping my foot pulled up and I don't feel like I'm going to trip. I will keep using it and give it time to "adjust" to my foot.

I ordered a ankle brace on Wednesday (may have been Thursday) - didnt want to pay additional shipping so asked for regular...got it on Monday! I have worn the brace pretty much ever since and seems to be helping the tendons. I'm glad I was talked into looking for this thru the website rather than going through a "drug store" as I paid half the price. I would recommend this site to anyone in need of any type of brace.
