If you work a 9-5 this storage is not for you. The times posted specify reception opening hours but are the entire site opening hours. In my opinion the requirement for contents insurance should be included in the quote. I do appreciate the customer service being decent.

We are sorry to hear that you found the access hours frustrating. Our St Albans site is not listed as a 24 hour facility, and the opening hours are clearly displayed both online and in store to avoid any confusion. While we do not have a record of this being raised with the team, we understand you may have preferred to remain anonymous. The store does often offer extended access passes when customers ask, particularly for move ins and move outs, and it is a shame this was not discussed at the time as they would have been happy to help.
Regarding contents protection, this is a mandatory requirement. Customers can either provide their own insurance that covers self storage, or choose our contents protection, which is explained during the booking process.
We do encourage customers to speak with the store team if their access needs change, as they will always try to assist where possible.

Last Minute 40' Shipping Container
We got the notification that our shipping container was coming the next morning. The person who helped us at the front desk was incredibly helpful with logistics of such a large truck and the reservation of units. we ended up not needing all three units and that was a little bit of an issue. Otherwise, great.

Pretty much everything has worked well
Pretty much evrything has worked well, as expected.
The annoying thing was to receive a phone call telling me that this unit does in fact have 2 doors and that I must get an additional padlock to secure it.
This should have been pointed out when we were first looking at the unit.

The staff were very helpful and the facilities were good. The issues we had were that there is no usable phone signal at the facility and there is no wifi. Therefore the app that you require for signing contracts and even accessing your storage does not work. Which led to me having to drive 2 miles down the road to get a signal to sign the contract. I am baffled as to why they don't make their wifi available and solve the problem.

They aren't transparent about compulsory insurance which would have added 30 percent to the quoted cost.
We got a very good company in the end where their advertised cost included insurance. I have since established with trading standards that it is illegal not to disclose costs which must be paid. It would be better if this company followed the guidance.

Access made our house move easy
Access made our house move easy. Easy to book storage, helpful staff, lots of trolleys etc to make moving stuff around easy. The app works well. Security seemed v good. The only negative feedback is I wish their opening hours were longer especially on a Sunday - closing at 4pm is a bit rubbish when it’s the weekend when most customers probably want o access their stuff.

Simple and easy storage, mostly
Despite the usual self-storage practices of bugging you after you get an online quote, and pricing which doubles after a month, sign up was relatively painless. Moved in fairly quickly with minimum fuss. It's a useful local facility, seems very secure.
Wish their opening hours were longer, but can't complain. Worst thing are the other customers. Every time I go, some selfish person has parked their vehicle right in front of the main doors instead of in the bays, obstructing access for everyone else.
