If I had to describe Absolute Internship in a sentence I would say they go the extra mile. To give a little bit of context, when I contacted the firm, I was a second-year undergraduate in the UK, interested in finance, with mere months to secure an internship for my Year In Business programme. Despite these complications, Absolute Internship did provide me the opportunity of working as an intern, at a boutique investment bank, which allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. Moreover, Absolute organised several check-ups throughout the year to ensure everything was good, and even took care of communicating with my university. Overall, Absolute Internship's role was outstanding and I would recommend the experience to every student looking to begin their career.

The people and the internship itself. The staff did a great job at creating an environment that encouraged all of the interns to get to know each other at the beginning. Now I have life long friendships. The internship itself was extremely beneficial that created an entirely new level of professionalism rooted behind my cultural differences.

Completing an internship abroad though Absolute Internship was an amazing experience. Not only was I able to get hands-on experience in the workplace that was very beneficial to my future career, but I was also able immerse myself in a new culture and gain unforgettable experiences while traveling the world with new friends. I had the best time in Japan with Absolute Intership. The team took care of everything, from accomodation and intership placement to cultural events and weekend trips, as well as practical needs such as sim card and transportation card.
What made the experience so special was not only the opportunity to experience the Japanese culture and work environment but also meet people from all over the world.

Doing an internship abroad allows you to experience life of a different culture. To experience their working attitudes and attitudes towards life were great eye-openers. It is also a way to learn a culture in-depth. Global experiences are important for us to be globally-aware and to observe the world around us.

The experience made possible by Absolute Internship was so very beneficial for my career decisions and an overall amazing opportunity. Working internationally, paired with all their support before and during the actual internship dates were invaluable to my experience and comfort.

I decided to study abroad during the winter quarter of my senior year of college. I initially wanted to take courses at a university in Spain, but a friend of mine recommended I looked into an internship. That’s when I found Absolute and the amazing team that runs it. I was able to gain crazy experience at a tech startup, made life long friends (who I’m flying to NYC to see for the 3rd time since the internship), and had super fun activities that were planned by absolute. If you’re reading this and you’re unsure if you want to go for any reason, just go. Trust me. If finances are an issue I highly recommend speaking with your college and Absolute, as there are options available.

Absolutely perfect below all the aspects. This experience was useful to me in order to enrich my cv with an activity abroad in a different continent, that result a big jolly to find a new intern now in my homecountry. Moreover I knew fantastic people from every part of the world, with which I mantain contact nowadays.
You will absolutely fall in love with Japan and with this internship program, spacing from contemporaneous hub-cities to beautiful and breathtaking panoramas.

My experience with Absolute Internship was really great! The program leaders were very fun and enthusiastic with planned activities for us to do while also giving us plenty of freedom to explore our own interests. The structure of program is the perfect balance of getting working experience in your field of interest and having fun and traveling and meeting new people from all over the world which you wouldn’t necessarily get through a regular study abroad program. My internship itself was a great experience I learned a lot and it was related to my field of study so I got good hands on experience. Overall Absolute Internship was wonderful and I wouldn’t have done it differently.

Having an internship experience in Lisbon Portugal was by far the best experience of my life. Not only did the program give me a once in a lifetime experience to gain professional experience internationally, but I was able to become fully immersed in Portugal's beautiful culture. I also made LIFELONG friends and memories that I'll never forget.

Absolute managed to find me a great internship in Lisbon! Additionally, they were very organized with the activities they planned, and if there was a problem they resolved it quickly. Also, Virginia, was really helpful with certificates and all the paperwork that were needed from my university.

This summer in Singapore was the best experience. I’ve met so many new people and I met my best friend there. Also Singapore is a very good city to live in. It is very safe und clean. The city is so beautiful and divers. The accommodation is beautiful and in the center of the city. The club is only a ten minute walk away. The food is so great and cheap. You can get for 7 SGD Michelin star soup dumplings.
I learned how other Company’s work and what are the differences in the working cultures.
If you have the chance to go to Singapore, then do it. You will not regret it.

The programme was amazing in every respect. The internship itself gave me lots of insights through having many tasks given to complete over the two months such as social media, blog posts, new website content, emailing clients and providers, creating Canva presentations for clients - I even got to go in a hot air balloon as part of the job.

With organised activities through Absolute Internship, we were always doing something, from weekend trips to Montpellier and Valencia, to day trips to a water park and Costa Brava, it was a fun-packed adventure.

Loads of food to try like Paella, Churros, and Crema Catalana!

Barcelona is a safe city with loads to do and explore. Take every opportunity!

The people in my internship were absolutely amazing! I'm so grateful for the friendships I've made there. They made traveling solo all that much better! My internship was really amazing, and I got to learn so much from the lawyers in my company. My only regret is not staying longer than 4 weeks. Absolute was really helpful and it actually changed my life! I recommend to anyone considering going abroad as a college student!

I really enjoyed these weeks working virtually, and i've improved my virtual skills like communication, admin. Absolute staff here are nice and very helpful, always trying to help me and answer my Qs and confusion, as well as supporting me during the online internship.

My experience was incredible. I didn't have any problems. The process was easy and simple. They always helped me with my questions and doubts and they was so kind and friendly.

Definitely the experience was very challenging, the company I worked with was in a great period of change where a CEO had left the company, so there was a lot of opportunity in reports and databases, however the difficulty was that the CEO did not He had his ideas well established, so there was a change of tasks every hour regardless of the changes. I would have liked there to be a little more organization within the company and more ability to share knowledge but the experience gave a lot of knowledge and new skills for my professional career.

Having experience on your CV is something that nearly every employer is looking forward when a graduate comes out of uni, but having a year off in between the years at uni for me wasn’t as easy or accessible to do. I decided I needed to get some experience this summer and I knew I wanted to do something aboard! Funnily enough I discovered the Absolute internship program via TiKTok and then proceeded to do the research and apply. I got an interview very quickly that suited me perfectly. Once accepted I told the team what I was looking for in an internship and that’s exactly what I got. I got all the help and information I needed to prepare for interviews with potential host internships. I choose to go to Lisbon this summer for a month and I’m very glad I did. This was probably one of the best summers I have ever had. Not only was my internship interesting and given me ideas in the future about what I would and wouldn’t like to do, but the friends and memories I made out there will last a life time. This is a perfect way to do an internship if you love to travel and make new friends.

I was at first hesitant about joining a summer internship program with people i’ve never met before. I thought that the first couple of days would be awkward and would be lonely. But from the second I met my program colleagues at the airport is when I felt relaxed, at that moment I knew this was going to be an unforgettable experience.

Overall, I am very satisfied with everything that this program offered: the residence housing, the internship opportunity, the friends we met along the way, the front desk people at the residence, our program coordinators, and the “prison” food that we always miss when we’re away in the weekends.

I have achieved so much in a span of two months, even though the company I was working for was a startup under construction, I was working under full autonomy and on my own pace. I managed to create flyers from scratch that have now been printed and shared around the most important hotels in the city center! I also enjoyed learning the different cultures in the program and Spanish culture as a whole!
