Very clean and professional work force. 10/10

The finished result is superb. The quality of the wood and the craftmanship cannot be faulted. The fitters were professional and attentive to detail. All refuse was removed and the area was left clean and tidy. I could not have asked for more and am delighted with the result.
The company was easy to deal with. They kept to timelines given and were helpful throughout.

Used this Company some years ago installing new staircase, with excellent results.
Using this Company, therefore, was a no brainer.
Excellent results again.

Really pleased with the quality of the staircase that we had fitted. The design stage was easy and the designer had plenty of options for us to consider. The timeline was good and we didn't wait long for the staircase to be fitted. It looks really good.

Awesome, Amazing, kind and calm

Hugely knowledgable, and a skilled respectful install team and we consistently get asked where our staircase is from as it’s the focal point in our double height entrance hall. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, and have on many occasions!

I have just had my second staircase fitted by this company and they are an excellent outfit. From beginning to end I could not fault them. The quality, workmanship and staff are just the best.

Great result and fitters were brilliant

I had a staircase renovation Dec 2024, I am still arguing and fighting for them to resolve the issues! My staircase is now moving and at risk of collapse due to the shoddy workmanship.
I first complained as the capping over my skirting was very very poorly finished along with other problems and to fair they came straight out to rectify some of it. Unfortunately it still wasn’t up to standards and they came out again. This time the workmen turned up unannounced. I was upstairs on a work call so didn’t hear the door, they never pressed the ring doorbell, they called my mobile once but I couldn’t answer straight away as I was on a work call. I did call them back but no answer and when I went downstairs to the door they had gone! Despite telling their boss they called me several times (they never did, I shared proof) they also claimed they was sat outside in the van for 30 mins, my security cameras clearly show they wasn’t. I was called a lier and the cameras prove nothing!
Then I heard nothing from them until I contacted the finance company to complain.
They did come back and did some more remedial work! ( hand rail was coming out of the wall, the joins and finish on the capping over the skirting was terrible, and more stuff, Very poor workmanship.
When they finally came out again, they replaced the capping but unfortunately the new stuff was a different colour, higher on one side than the original and all different widths (1inch to 2inch wide)
They are now refusing to put it right and I have to accept it! They claim it’s due to the shape of my stairs and my walls being uneven! Utter rubbish! The original skirting cover was uniform in height, colour and width so it can be done they have just not taken the time and care. If the skirting and walls are uneven which they are not, they should have packed the capping out to ensure it was even, they also claim it doesn’t matter about the joins because a carpet will cover the imperfections. I wasn’t having a carpet I wanted a runner. I think it’s disgusting how they think just covering shoddy work with a carpet is acceptable.
And now the icing on the cake is my stairs are moving when I walk on them because they have taken the strength out of them replacing the Main Newal post! This post should have been covered not replaced and now my staircase is a risk of collapse. The main part is held up by 6 screws thanks to Abbott and Wade.
Amazing work! I certainly would not recommend this company
I now need all my under stairs taken apart and my staircase reinforced to prevent collapse.

Regarding the reply!
I think you’ll find they didn't say there was nothing wrong with the staircase, they was inspecting the skirting board covers and they concluded they was ok cosmetically because you can cover any gaps with a carpet! Thats like wallpapering over crumbing plaster and hoping no one will notice.
They never inspected the rest of the staircase and more importantly the terrible work done with the Newell post and securing my stairs.

Constructive work outstanding and I'm very difficult to please!
Both engineers were cheerful, professional and hard working.
