I recently bought the "Teknik Office Hoxton Red Bonded Leather Cantilever Chair".

I placed my order, and the order was quickly fulfilled; the chair would be delivered the next day. I received an e-mail that day, telling me when the chair should arrive; it arrived on time.

The reason I'm giving the company one star is because of the product I bought: the seat collapses under my weight with a whoosh of air - though it does 'spring' back up - for now! I am not morbidly obese, but neither am I a skeleton - the chair is just not suitable for supporting adults of medium weight or slightly heavier.

There is no information about the firmness of the seat on the product page, let alone what type of foam is being used.

This is not a minor oversight. You SIT on chairs, so information about the seat is of crucial importance.

I just assumed, based on a previous purchase from another company, that a cantilever chair would be decent, especially one that cost £230.

I've since discovered that COLD-CURED FOAM is something to look for in a chair: "Cold-cured foam offers superior durability because of its dense, structured composition. It resists sagging and flattening far better than conventional foam, which can quickly lose its bounce and become uneven."

DO NOT BUY A CHAIR FROM ANY COMPANY THAT DOES NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE FIRMNESS OF THE SEAT.

You cannot return the chair once it's been assembled - that is their, or the manufacturer's, policy. Yet, it's their failure to market the product properly that has resulted in me losing money. They are to blame NOT ME.

UPDATE:

A2B Office contacted me, saying they were disappointed that I didn't speak to them first, as if I am one of their employees.

They ignored my concern, which was there is NO INFORMATION on their site about THE SEAT's FIRMNESS or what FOAM is being used. Seats can be soft, hard, or somewhere in between. Foam can be cheap or, at the other end of the spectrum, high quality and supportive.

This chair uses cheap foam. Also, the chair wobbles - the manufacturer states it in the instructions, and you have to constantly adjust a couple of screws on the base of the chair to stop it wobbling.

A2B Office Supplies' slogan is "Cheap Office Supplies" - says it all!

Website easy to navigate; prices very reasonable; immediate confirmation of order; very prompt delivery within a couple of days. I can highly recommend this reliable company.

Excellent service all round. Cannot complain about a thing. Great prices & really fast delivery. Would definitely recommend A2B and will use them again without a doubt.

I didn't order office supplies, I was rummaging around the web trying hard to find work trousers that Wickes only had one pair of. Amazingly, A2B had them so I bought two pair and they were cheaper. High quality, as well. Thank you.

Excellent service and competitive pricing. We had a problem with the item we received, but Barry replied to our email extremely quickly and we received the replacement the very next day. Competitive pricing and quick to sort it out when things went wrong, we will definitely be buying again.

Placed and order which they then cancelled claiming the item has been removed from sale.
Yet here we are 3 weeks later and it's still on their website.

The website did NOT state awaiting stock, no point removing the item after getting this bad review then emailing me. You should have removed it when you cancelled my order so no one else could order! You clearly have the time!

Sorry but your replies do not makes sense.
OK lets say that there is a chance I missed the red "Awaiting stock, Pre order Now". Why did you then cancel my order?! It clearly states pre-order now.
You previously claimed you cancelled cos you are not getting stock due to being discontinued and claim you informed me of this in the cancellation email.
You simply wrote "Apologies this order has been cancelled and refunded in full as the item in question has been removed from sale."
Nothing about not getting the item in stock or it being discontinued. Just removed.
Yet as said above, 3 weeks later and the page was still there for people to order from.

To make things worse for you, I ordered the Casio HR-200, if this is being discontinued, then why are there still listings for the HR-150 and HR-8?! Both lower models to the 200?! What company discontinues their top range of product but then continues to sell the lower range?!

Sorry but you seem to be contradicting yourself several times now. Maybe I would have been willing to increase the rating to 2 or 3 stars. But the aggressive undertones of your email has put me off doing so.

So I shall end this with how you ended your email

Thurs 11.30: Having failed to find the particular printer that I wanted in stock anywhere in UK (except at silly prices) I placed an order with A2B where the the price was good. The item was clearly marked "Awaiting stock, pre-order now".
Thurs 12.26: Barry calls from A2B to say he has an order in for the item and expects delivery in about 2 weeks.
Friday 17.19: Barry calls to say it will be earlier than expected - "early next week".
Saturday 10.23: Barry calls to say it will arrive that day between 5 & 6 pm.
Saturday 17.30: It arrives!

Ordered a 2021 Refill for my A4 Filofax .. Told I will have it within "HOURS"
Turns out he DIDNT HAVE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE ..
One Month on & Hes now "Blaming "Brexit" for the delay in Delivery ...
I Wanted a 12 Month A4 Filofax refill NOT A BLOODY 11 MONTH one .. Its god Damned February in 5 DAYS !!! .. Reported to Paypal fer being UNTRUTHWORTHY & telling "Porkie Pies" to his Customers!!!

***UPDATE*** (1) Since Leaving this Review I have been Messaged by A2B & they state they have "Fully Refunded me" ..
So In the interests of being Fair & Open When "Pushed" the Management acted in a Fair & Decent way ....I Cannot argue with that .. FAIR PLAY A2B ... FAIR PLAY !!!!

TBH Barry you have just contradicted yourself If I "Didnt Contact you" before leaving "Feedback" how come YOU STATE "I was informed of a possible delay" . Lets be Clear here .. If you went down The Rock in Bury to Asda & bought £25 quids worth of Groceries & was told AFTER you'd paid for them "We Havent Got those Groceries in yet They MIGHT be here Soon I'll let yer know When" .. would you be a happy Bunny & walk outta the store ???
If you made a Genuine mistake & THOUGHT you had stock when you didnt you SHOULD have informed your customer & GIVEN HIM / HER the CHOICE of a Wait for it to arrive or receive a refund .. YOU DID NEITHER .
Anyway all this is a Mute Point (as you have refunded me) which I truly appreciate. I am not now nor have I ever been a Vindictive person & therefore I have "Ticked" the "5 Star Rating" ...

Excellent customer service, we had an order which went astray through the Courier, contacted A2B and spoke to a guy called Barry, very helpful and he arranged for a second delivery which arrived the next day, told not to worry as he would be taking the issue of the other parcel with the Courier. I have been using a2b for over a year to supply our business. I am so pleased with them. I used to have to 'negotiate' prices with other suppliers, but I have found that a2b's prices are better than those prices that were negotiated down.... saves from the to-ing and fro-ing. It's simple to just place an order at an excellent price. Delivery is always prompt and I've only ever had an issue once with a missing item - but Barry sorted it quickly! I don't normally do reviews but I feel they excel so wanted to do one to say thank you :)
