Warning on return policy

Just leaving a warning on the return policy. I ordered two pairs of shoes, they were uncomfortable when I received them (my total was $65). They came in a decent time frame, however when I just went to my postal center it cost me $27 (this was the cheapest available choice UPS ground) to send back. Correct, basically a third of what I spent on the shoes. I will never order from this site again.

I've been shopping on 6pm for several years. I always try to research shoes before I order them as they do not have reviews on their site. I have gotten a lot of great shoes at a great price and their customer service was very helpful and prompt when I had an issue. DONT BUY SUNGLASSES...

I’ve had good experience so far with most of their products. However, I bought a few sunglasses that were defective. I didnt return them because the sunglasses were cheap and also I didnt want to pay a return fee. I would give 6pm a 5 for shoes and a 2 for sunglasses.

Although their prices may be the lowest…

Although their prices may be the lowest in comparison to other online retailers, there is a bait and switch quality when you have to make returns. The banner at the top of the site advertises free shipping over 50.00's which leads the consumer to make assumptions that returns will be the same. However, I realize that this is an error on my part since I should have read the fine print. However, not mentioned anything about the high cost for returns is not consumer-friendly. Paying 52.00 to try on boots is extortion. I do not recommend purchasing shoes from this site. The 10-15 dollars you may save on the cost of the shoe, does not cover the return shipping costs. I recommend the company make the cost of returns more clear on the website.

Terrible customer service

I had ordered two items two weeks ago. One item showed up in the box when it was delivered. Clearly, someone had forgotten to put the second item in the box and shipped it. I contacted customer service who advised me they would process a return and told me they would cover one day shipping. I called customer service who completed the return for me and told me one day shipping would really be one week shipping. I called on a Thursday and they told me my package would arrive until the next Thursday. Why tell me in an email that you’ll do one day shipping but it’ll take a week to get to me. I called last Thursday and here it is Saturday and my order still shows “processing.” Terrible customer service.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

I have ordered from 6pm in the past and the service was ok to say the most. I moved in the past 3 years and decided to give them a chance again, well that didnt work out well they shipped my entire order of 7 pairs of shoes to my previous address even though I entered my current address checked and double checked to make sure it was my current address then took it a step further to delete my previous address and some how these imbasils sent all my shoes to whoever the heck lives at my previous address! I'm so pissed off words can't express!! Then I call to fix this colossal mistake and all they can say is they can't send me my dam shoes!! I AM NEVER EVER IN LIFE ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!!!

I want to give 0 stars. I ordered a Tahari asl dress and got a very replica of the dress- tagged with a different brand name and all! I have never had such a horrible experience and I have written to customer support and no reply yet. I promise you.. do not buy any thing from this website. I was ripped off and will be speaking to my bank to ensure there is no credit card fraud. I regret any involvement with this website and I genuinely discourage anyone from using this company.

With all that said.... there was actually speedy resolution. I’m not angry anymore. I am satisfied with the company’s response to my complaint. I modified the complaint but I will give three stars just because of the responsiveness of the team honestly- o truly appreciate it.

Bought 5 pairs of shoes. Got 4. I sent them a photo with a big box with small boxes of shoes.
There was no free space for 5 couples. But they just wrote that they sent you everything. My photos did not touch anyone. Thieves !!!

Lost customer for good.

I’ve been a customer of this company for years, bought two pairs of shoes that weren’t as described, went to return them and the return postage was $44! I spent $90 on the shoes so there’s no way I’m sending anything back for that price. I’ll now have to try and sell these shoes. I’ll never shop on this site again and have already told friends and family to avoid at all costs.

Change in website from night before, terrible customer service

Spent yesterday picking out items by putting them into favorites. Needed to check with family no which items they liked, and see what shoes they had grown out of, and how certain brands we buy were sized. All of a sudden yesterday, I could only see my first page of favorites. After spending time realizing it just didn't give me all the items it reported was in my favorites, I decided to separate the favorites into "Collections" since that was an option. Created 3 new "collections" under favorites, and as I removed each item from my other favorites into a new collection, I could start to see the items that seem to have disappeared. Ok great. At least I recovered all my lost work of selecting the items I wanted. My only guess was that there was a per page view limit, and there was a bug that you couldn't go look at other pages. Fine. Separated each shoe into a specific family member bucket. Left about 10 shoes in the main "Heart" collection for a different time.
That was late last night. Today when I went to go purchase: The 4 collections I had previously, was now just 1 "Favorites". And the only items in them were the items from the "Heart" collection before. Chatted with a rep for a long time who had zero idea what I was talking about. Knew nothing about collections. NOTHING. She acted like I was crazy. Had me check "saved for later" which wasn't even an option for me. Talked about how the items were no longer available and that's what happens when you put them in your cart (I NEVER PUT THEM IN MY CART). Going round and round. I almost started doubting myself until I checked my google history. Low and behold, it brought up one of the page collections. Had to go through item by item and move that collection to favorites. Same thing with anouther collection. After all this work, I gave up on my last one. Too much work and terrible customer service. The option to even put things in collections is gone too unless I use that "old" link from late last night. Clearly something changed with the website, but the customer service rep was clueless either way.

I'd give zero stars if I could

I'd give zero stars if I could. Don't buy from this site. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

My girlfriend ordered a pair of boots thru this disaster of a website. The sizing was off (way off) so she had to return them.. low and behold the buyer is responsible for return shipping. $54 later the boots are on their way back. $54 to try on a pair of boots.

She contacted a rep (a not so lovely and very unsympathetic woman named "Wendy") who was over condescending and seemingly trained to not give a crap about the consumer. She told my girlfriend verbatim "next time you should probably go with a full service company."

These people are the retail nightmares you hear about. In this day and age with so much online retail competition DO NOT SHOP HERE. With covid 19 the world is forced to shop online... don't make this one of your go to's. There are companies that actually care about their customers.

No more Zappos either. The two are sister sites, Zappos is guilty by association. Both Zappos and Amazon (parent company) will be getting an email not only about the transaction and sham of a return policy but also about our new friend Wendy.

And 6PM, don't bother with one of the arbitrary return comments on this review.

Received 2 defected items and no refund.

Received 2 defected items out of three in the order. Instead of refunding me, their “supervisors” took pause, and later said the only way to refund that I need to send it back.
I am in another country now, cannot send it.

Sadly, this service become a robbery. Used to be good, not anymore.

All be careful and don’t deal with them.

P.s. and no, it’s not the “third party” faults, my friends from US forwarded it to me the package “as is”, didn’t even open it. Those were deffinitelly MANUFACTURE defects, and 6pm still didn’t want to refund. So be careful , service become BAD.

Received Defective Item and Defective Customer Service

I have never written a review online for a company but because of this situation I feel I need to pass this on to customers especially customer like me who are disabled and depend on hospice as a big and only support.
I also feel it doesn’t matter how inexpensive you pay if the customer service is poor.
I am a regular customer NOT tied to any business nor do I own a business or sale merchandise. I called into 6pm and spoke with Jessy in the philippine about receiving a pair of defective sunglasses one of the lenses where totally missing she said that had to happen in shipping? I explained that couldn’t be the case because the lens was no where in the box. I explained I would need some help because of my disability with getting the glasses back to them she said UPS would come and pick them up and put them in a box and tape and label them. She told me she was on the phone with UPS and getting it taken care of. After some time she transferred me to speak to the supervisor Samson who is in Las Vegas. Apparently she wasn’t trained on handling a situation like this. I told him the same exact same thing I just went over with Jessy. I told Samson I just can’t understand why a defective item missing a lens would have been sold and shipped to a customer in the first place and how extremely difficult it is for me to return a item that should never of been shipped to me and wasn’t even $50. I have to be out the expense of having to pay for the assistance I need to get them returned to them.
It was extremely apparent that 6pm doesn’t care.
6pm really needs to look at the way their company treats their customers and retraining customer service associates on procedures and customer service experience. Also the quality of merchandise it sales. I know retail is struggling and companies are having to cut cost and payroll but defective items and poor customer service is horrible.
Customers have choices where to shop and spend their money and where to shop for their families needs.
Like I said I am a regular customer with absolutely no ties to any retail companies and do not have a business or sale merchandise I have nothing to gain from my experience and actually am out not just the time and expense of receiving damages sunglasses. I am a very understanding person who would understand things happen but I cannot understand making a customer have to go through this and at the same time make them feel bad. It is truly disappointing and sad that 6pm.com runs it’s business and treat customer like this and doesn’t care about their customers.
I hope that 6pm.com takes a good look at the way their business is being ran and retrains employees on customer service. I also hope that this helps other non-company retail business customers just a regular customer not have the same experience I had.
