I gave 5 stars for their excellent customer service. Julietta was so very helpful and quick to respond to the issue I had regarding being short shipped the blades for the device. She always followed up within a day to inform me of what was happening and what to expect when. She’s a very kind caring person who will work with you until you are fully satisfied!
The dermaplaner works wonderfully once you learn the proper technique. I wasn’t too keen on the spray that highlights the hair that needs removal as your face has to be damp to shave it but the spray makes your skin dry so I won’t be using that anymore.
I have used the IPL for almost 2 years…
I have used the IPL for almost 2 years now. It took longer than 8 weeks at the beginning, but time and patience came through and I am smooth and hairless in the nether region and I Iove it, so smooth and soft. I do still use the IPL about once a week or longer as an upkeep type use. It does work permanently.

Amazing customer service
The customer service experience was amazing. I purchased one of these devices a year ago, used it and loved it and put it away for a while. When I went to use it again I found that it didn’t turn on. I emailed the company and within less than a week they are mailing me a new device. This solution and the speediness on which it was handled exceeded my expectations.

Worst experience with a company I've ever had
First off, I NEVER in my life have left any kind of review. However, this was such a horrible experience that it needs to be shared. I ordered the 5MINSKIN AT-HOME LASER HAIR REMOVAL HANDSET on 12/7/2025 and belatedly realized it eas being sent to the incorrect address. So, I immediately sent an email to their support email address requesting that they cancel the order and refund the payment. I then ordered the same device and had it shipped to the correct address. It took several days for the order to be canceled and my issued a refund. During those days I had to continuously reach out to them to even get a response and threaten to file a fraudulent claim against them to for the company to FINALLY do it. Then an envelope arrived in my mailbox that was supposedly thhe device from my other order. The envelope was unopened and had their company logo on it and inside were only 4 packets of oregano oil capsules and no device. I looked up the tracking number and it said it had been delivered by USPS to my mailbox. I then contacted the company who said the order had been delivered to my mailbox. I informed them that a package was delivered but that the device was not in the package. Here again it took about a week, if not longer, for them to respond and again I had to constantly reach out to them to even get them to respond to my emails. During which they tried to get me to file a claim with USPS to say that the package was undelivered. I then informed them that I would not file a fraudulent claim with USPS saying my package was not delivered since a package from their company was delivered but their company just didnt put the device i bought and paid for in the package. I also informed them that if they did not send my device to me IMMEDIATELY I would be forced to file a fraudulent charge against their company. After all of that they responded in an email backtracking and saying they didnt want me to file a claim with USPS and that their company doesn't sell the capsules I was sent. Therefore, it didn't come from their company (even though it was unopened, had their company logo, and followed everything on the tracking number). After all of that, they FINALLY shipped my device which arrived this morning. This company it awful and I would not recommend anyone order from it ever. I certainly never will again. We'll see if the device even works after all of this.
Do not buy
I bought the Sculpt 2.0 IPL device from 5minskin. The device worked for about 2 minutes and then shut off. I have not been able to turn it back on since.
Waste of money
Bought the facial dermaplaning tool it worked fine for the first couple uses after that it would not charge also got the sculpt 2.0 both are junk. I would recommend to not spend and waste money on these products.

I was calling about a broken cord and wishing to buy just a cord, but they sent me an extra cord for free.
No Changes in Growth
I received this as a Christmas gift in 2024. I have used the device religiously on different areas every day since. It is now September 2025 and I have yet to see a significant change in hair growth let alone permanent removal. I even went to their site to see if I could buy the pre-treatment prep stuff but couldn't find it. I bought a different brand so we'll see how or if that one makes a difference.

The customer service is awesome. Took care of a problem quickly and efficiently. Very nice. Julieta was wonderful to deal with. Fast and efficient. My only issue is I need to recharge the until before each use. I don't really mind, though. I just plan for it.

Do not recommend this company at all!! I ordered their dermaplaning tool. I paid NZ$185. The package deal said it would come with the powder spray and a moisturiser balm. It took ages to arrive and there was no spray or balm. Customer service said they are out of stock and they have no idea when it will be in stock. They refused to refund me for these products. It has now been three months and no money or missing product. The tool itself does not hold charge for more than one use. I would not pay more than $40 for this tool. It’s a temu quality product. This company is a scam.

Amazing customer service
I purchased a laser hair removal device from 5minskin three years ago - I’ve always been happy with it, especially since I was overcharged by a brand name salon for so long.
Recently, I decided to pick up the device again and use it on a different areas. I realized that I’d lost the cord. Rather than destroy my device playing cord musical chairs, I reached out to 5minskin customer support for assistance. There was a lot of back & forth, figuring out what generation my device was, what my new shipping address was, but eventually they shipped me a cord that ended up not being the right fit. I felt bad, but I went back to support to let them know it wasn’t the right one. They apologized and told me they’d ship the right one straight away.
They were so patient and sweet and quick to respond. When I got my replacement cord in the mail, I was shocked to see that they had sent me an entirely new device, complete with the cord! 🤠 amazing customer service, thank you SO SO SO much.
My dermaplaning tool
Unfortunately my electric dermaplaning tool never held its charge from the beginning and then finally didn’t work at all.
Fortunately when it did work it did the job.
I must commend 5minSkin on their customer service. After receiving quick responses to my emails I now have a replacement on the way 🤞
I am unable to use the hair removal device.
I am unable to use the hair removal device because I didn't find the chart about hair color until I was reading the pamphlet getting ready to use it. My hair is white/gray, the root is the same, and since the device needs pigment to work effectively, chances are low that it will work on me.
However, customer service was a joy to work with and I am getting a refund. Everything else about the purchase was smooth and easy. I would have given 5 stars but for the fact I didn't find the hair color chart on the website as it is buried within in a place not easily seen.

I bought one of 5MinSkin's products and unfortunately, it didn’t work out the way the product description said it would (customer error or product error - not sure). I was honestly disappointed, and it felt frustrating at first. But I reached out via email to their support team, and they responded within two business days—which already felt super reassuring.
After following the steps they provided, we couldn’t reach a fix right away. So I brought up the fact that the product’s messaging didn’t match what I experienced. Again, they replied quickly and instead of brushing me off, they stood by their product and their promise to support customers.
They fully resolved the issue with professionalism and care. I’ve dealt with companies that just ignore feedback or shift blame—but 5MinSkin really showed what customer service should look like. Respectful, responsive, and responsible. That means a lot to me.
