Total scam

Total scam. It got corrupted on both PCs I have and lead to a major system corruption.

Had to reinstall my OS from scratch, since neither recovery mode nor system restore worked and needed more than one week to fully recover until I could continue to work safely with a different security software.

Avoid at all costs! Bloats up your RAM, doesn't deinstall at all, backdoor for major trojans and malware!

Same outcomes on each device

After my family trusting it for years, I decided it was no longer efficient. My PCs had corrupted system files when installing updates and software glitches after using full scans [optimization & virus]. It doesn't expose potential vulnerabilities along with extension to online security.
Upon reading test reviews I don't see the app fully securing any device with the comprehensive subscription (which I had).

8 years of loyalty destroyed by 26 days of silence - Ticket 331629

I have been a loyal user of 360 Total Security since 2017. For 8 years, I considered this antivirus the best solution, but now they have ruined everything.

I have been struggling with a critical database error since April 6th (Ticket 331629). My account is stuck with a conflict between an expired 2022 license and an active 2027 license, causing constant premium drops and annoying ads. I provided EVERYTHING they asked for: MID, screenshots, and detailed logs.

For nearly a month, they have been "brainwashing" me with empty apologies while their "senior engineers" do absolutely nothing. I even suggested a simple solution myself: just issue a new license key so I can move to a clean account. They completely ignored this logical request.

Support has stopped responding to my emails. It is a disgrace to treat a long-term paid customer like this. To anyone considering this product: think twice. Do you really want an antivirus where the support team abandons you when their own server fails?

Fix my ticket 331629 or give me a new key. My patience is over.

"Anti" virus sh*t

This "antivirus program" is complete garbage!!!!!! It downloaded automatically, and then there are a lot of problems with the computer, because when you turn it on and it "freezes". I had to reinstall the computer because of this vomit. If I could give a rating less than 1 star, I would!!! Never be fooled into downloading this crap!!

360 Total Security is garbage, so no, it’s not any good or better than notorious Norton.

360 Total Security is one of the worst pieces of software ever. It slows down my computer, bombards me with false positives, insists on constantly scanning my computer, and uses too much RAM. Here are some more reasons why it's so awful:

1. Low detection rates.
2. Slows down the PC.
3. Extremely difficult to uninstall from a PC.
4. Ridiculously overpriced.
5. Deceptive marketing practices.
6. Pays review sites to obtain better scores.
7. Slows down the booting process and shutdown of the Windows OS.

There are better options available. Generally, I recommend Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or Windows Defender; both are far superior products. I personally use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Windows Defender on my computer because both do their job effectively. On top of that, 360 Total Security is a China-based company. There are free antivirus programs you can use, including Bitdefender Free, Kaspersky Free, and Microsoft Defender paired with DefenderUI. Do not pay for antivirus software; the free options are more than sufficient for most consumers and include the full antivirus engines from these providers. Avoid 360 Total Security at all costs. It sucks! It almost ruined a Toshiba C660D laptop that I found several days ago with its shoddy performance.

Stupid driver installer

May I ask you this? When using Driver Master to install computer drivers, a monitoring program may be found bundled with the software in the installation directory. That's insane. If I didn't want to keep going through countless official websites to download drivers, what idiot would even use it?

Best antivirus in 2026

For me it is the best antivirus that repaired my PC, removed the virus and does not make my computer heavier like other antiviruses, five stars from me, congratulations.

Horrible antivirus

it was ass, and my RAM was 61%! HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? though the uninstallation was so good my computer could thank me for it. I hate 360 Total Security.
Geninuely, if there was a law that poor and bad antiviruses was against the law? This antiviruses company would go to the eletric chair. I hate it with my deep understanding of programming. oh and yes you can delete 99% of them without the main 360 programs.

DO NOT USE 360 INTERNET SECURITY

I have had 360 for a few years now and I recently tried to contact them through their HELP as the speed up facility/window or whatever its called had changed. It shows me that 19 things can be sped up and that they can be done manually but does not show how to do it. If my memory serves me well it previously just had a highlight to click for SPEEDUP.. I have tried to contact them on five separate occasions and not had any reply at all, so I have told them I will not be renewing with them again and asked them to refund my last subscription. ( I won't be holding my breath) The way these companies on the internet make it so difficult to even find a way to contact them by running you around in circles hoping you will just give up is getting worse all the time.

DOP NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

This program is a total nightmare which installed itself onto my PC when I was installing another piece of software. I'm pretty tech aware, so how it piggy backed into the other install process I'm still not sure.

But then the nightmare started! ALL attempts to uninstall it met with failure. First though the normal ‘Programs and features’ method. This didn’t ‘fail’ as such…it just wouldn’t even attempt an uninstall. Anti-virus, and malware programs were used all without success.

However…more alarmingly I found that it had installed itself as my ‘chosen’ virus protection program, and had disabled windows and secreted itself within that environment. I was getting pretty angry obviously by this stage, so I e-mailed ‘360 Total Protection’. It was ignored…no response whatsoever.

So then I had to think outside the box a little, and try several workarounds. I did scans for file traces, and when I saw literally thousands, I decided to use the professional program ‘Revo Uninstaller’. This identified all the trace elements ( I assumed ) very thoroughly, all over the place…and removed them.

With that I restarted the computer, expecting it to be clean, but no. There were still pop-ups ‘popping up’, and a quick check found that it was still controlling my Windows anti-virus system. So I rebooted into Safe Mode, and did another search for anything related to ‘360 Total Protection’, and that search brought back several folders still fully intact, and on inspection…populated with dozens if not hundreds of program elements.

This time I used the 'paid for' program ‘East-Tek Eraser’ to isolate everything, and delete it beyond recovery with 7 passes ( Yes 7 ) using the ‘US Department of Defence Security Protocol’; and when I restarted, all elements were gone; and not before time!...And effort!...And trouble.

I still haven't received a peep from this despicable software company, so if this can help anybody else, either before you get 'attacked' in this way, or afterwards to help remove it, then I’ll be satisfied.

To the company…who may ( or I suspect will not ) respond to this review. I CONSIDERE YOUR METHODS ARE ‘BORDERLINE’ CRIMINAL

Added note to TrustPilot, we really should be given an option to give ZERO stars when we have to give a review of this kind. But thank you anyway.
