Now ignoring messages

I was really really pleased with the intial work Paul did but then he gave me a quote for the next lot of work which was great. However,he has now not answered my messages and has now appeared to have blocked my messages and is totally ignoring me. I would rather a person be honest and reply. It's not professional to suddenly ghost someone. Especially as I recommended him to so many. I have to say I'm really disappointed as he seemed a good guy.
