I have used free web hosting to make a few websites and I really love their service. I have invested in Hostinger to host one of my websites. In the end, I use this service over WordPress because I can use my own HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for free! Thank you 000webhost, I hope you guys can continue to provide this kind of service. I am looking to invest in their paid services in the near future.

I wanted to learn PHP/MySQL usage and made a "site" at this hosting which nobody knew about. I've been using it for some time, and suddenly today it stopped responding and I got an email saying that it "overused resources" and I must send them my personal ID, bike, clothes and sunglasses to get it working again. OR I can PAY them, and then it will be unlocked and I can keep the sunglasses. So, they are not required to follow some law, they're just extortionist scammers who block the sites they host after some time and demand money. Needless to say that my site couldn't have "overused" any resources, including "traffic limits", as it was stated in their email, since it didn't have any files nor users knowing about it for this in the first place, and I was especially careful to not over-strain the database server with my test scripts, having queried the user limits, max_queries_per_hour included, and limited its usage. And looking at the other reviews, I want to claim in advance that any boilerplate answer below is a lie.

I have to admit I started setting up my free website with quite some doubts. It turned out the whole process was smooth beyond my imagination, particularly the management panel was very impressively easy to use. Thank you!
