WVVA is a microcosm of WV in general.
WVVA appears to rely on unintelligent and unqualified employees to deliver a partial media interpretation of local and national news.
Even though WV is the second highest state per capita in welfare, and is a tremendous burden to the USA's economy requiring much more assistance (input) than what it contributes to the USA economy (output), in large part due to the state's embarrassing public and higher education school systems, and its culture and norms as an outcast state formed only because of its humiliating defeat long before the US Civil War was even over, the station should strive for professional news reporting and not be so desperate to employ anyone who will take the job. WVVA needs to spend their human resources budget to recruit, hire, and retain out of state educated news professionals and journalists.
