VOLTGROOM - A HAIRY EXPERIENCE!

Buyer Beware - those looking for an electric shaver might like to note my findings. The product is modetately efficient for the price but (unprecedented in my long experience) the manufacturer DOESN'T HAVE A TELEPHONE HELPLINE FOR CUSTOMER QUERIES - grrrrrrrrrrr! True, they respond promptly to email approaches but I find it infuriating that it's impossible to make phone contact....

I regret dealing with this outfit.

AVOID LOVEHOLIDAYS

This is a follow up to my review for LOVEHOLIDAYS. I booked and paid them a deposit on 05/02/24 and the balance was taken on 03/04/24. They have now gone into my account a taken the deposit money again.
I did a review previously and there was a reply but I was told I did not pass the security code and they could not discuss the previous matter with me. How convenient. I managed to sort the problems out with Ryanair who were great at sorting out the issues for me. AVOID this company there is something not right about them. They make the mistakes and don’t rectify them.

The Office Mildura Langtree ave

We were celebrating our 6th Anniversary on Valentine’s Day this year. It was very special to us as I’m a cancer survivor who also has had 7 spine surgeries and was once in a wheelchair. We went to a restaurant in Mildura called The Office on Langtree Ave. without a doubt it was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. First we were seated outside in the street. It was cold the wind was blowing my dress up. We had booked a month in advance and asked to sit in the outside area which is a balcony. But got given a tiny rickety chair and table literally on the street where it was dirty and people were walking into us. We asked to move and was told they were fully booked and we could only sit by the door on stools at a high table. Not great for comfort or my spine but at least my dress wasn’t blowing up. And we were not being bumped into ever 5 minutes. Then we were told we would have to wait 50 minutes for our meal. That’s fine so we decided to order an entree first. Well a lady bought some bread to the table after 25 minutes so we started eating it. It was half a sour dough small roll sliced into 4 tiny pieces with a tiny bit of cheese on it. Naturally we thought this was complementary. Then after we had eaten a piece a very rude woman came and told us off for eating it as apparently it was not ours it was the table next to us. She shamed us so loudly in front of everyone. Humiliating. She keep saying I’m not going to charge you but just so you no you should have said you didn’t order it. I replied it’s half a 50 cent roll with a bit of cheese I would have thought it was complimentary. I mean we had spent all up on 2 entrees 2 mains and a cheap over priced bottle of wine $295 . Of course I would have expected free bread. She made my partner and I just feel so lousy. We lost our appetites and depression sunk in. That’s how food shamed and embarrassed we were made to feel for a mistake she had made. Then after another 40 min wait so all up an hour and 5 minutes we got given not just our Entrees but our mains as well at the same time. Ridiculous as we would never have ordered entrees if our food was going to be bought out at the same time. My food was thrown at me by the rude woman who had told us off for eating bread. The food was no better than pub food. Definitely not worth the ridiculous prices they were charging. We could not even finish the food. We were so upset. Completely ruined our evening. Rude service, nobody smiled. Food shamed for their mistake. And ripped of paying $295 for disgusting pub food that I could have got with better service at the local pub. Not only that the restaurant remained 3/4 empty for the entire night so we could have sit in a nice comfortable booth as they all remained vacant. So if your wanting a good night out. Never and I mean never go to The Office Langtree ave Mildura. Waste of money and a miserable time. I cried all the way home.

Larry Mortin Transmission Service

Larry Mortin retired and now the shop is ran by a younger generation.
It’s too bad that these younger shop owners have to lie and manipulate customers to drum up business.
After 40 years, I can no longer support Larry Martin Transmission shop. Shame on you for dishonest to your customers.

Excellent small family business supplied and installed my log burner.

We have recently had a log burner supplied and installed by James and Steph of Sandiacre Stoves. We we're highly impressed by the service and professionalism that we were given. From the knowledge of the people in the shop, to ordering and having the log burner fitted, we couldn't fault them. Everything was thoroughly explained and the workmanship was second to none. The handover was explained in great detail and followed by a good clean up of the area. We would highly recommend this small family business.

Timpson Vindictive Coat Return

This is a further update on 2 previous very bad reviews dated 05/11/23 and 26/02/24 which I feel compelled to give for Timpsons dry cleaning service.
A week ago I collected my daughters destroyed £300 Club Monaco trench coat returned to Asda Jewel Edinburgh. It was distressing.
I was truly shocked and exceedingly upset to see the way it was given back to me.
Bundled carelessly in a plastic bag which had been torn open exposing part of the coat externally. Crushed on removal. Despite the destroyed condition of the coat by Timpson, I expected it to be returned on a hanger with a protective cover which is the normal professional practice. I can only regard their disrespectful callous action as vengeful in the extreme because I have persued my complaint for over a year and also informed both Mr James and Mr John Timpson of my distress. I took photographs at the desk.
It is beyond obvious that Timpson are not working for Zero Errors and if you are someone like myself persuing a legitimate complaint, Timpson will act in a vindictive manner. They have refused to engage any further with my genuine and serious complaint ongoing this past year, washing their guilty hands of any blame for the coats destruction. In their words "standing firm" by 2 very biased unfair appraisals and wishing to absurdly blame wrong labelling by Club Monaco.
Timpson advertise Upside Down Management stating they trust branch colleagues to do whatever they believe will give an Amazing Service and they can pay up to £500 to settle a complaint.
I asked the assistant at the desk about this. He said he was allowed to pay £250 but had to refer to management for a further £250. Thats a discrepancy.
Obviously the destruction of my daughters coat doesnt warrant or deserve "Amazing Service"
It is questionable how many, if any customers have ever been compensated for a Timpson dry cleaning error.
I am seeking further assistance in persuing this unfair treatment from Timpson, which I believe is unlawful under the Consumer Act 2015.

I recommend not to use Tim Horton app

I recommend not to use Tim Horton app. Several times I have had delivery issues not getting deliveries. Drivers go to wrong address,don't deliver to door. Lie and say they handed off. The customer service is in no hurry to help go through skip
ubber or doordash you get better service

Never ever visit Nottingham Coventry Building Society because of RIZWANA KANWAL she offers very poor. mean & unprofessional customer service. I was standing in the queue and she started serving the other person behind me in the queue-how rude, discriminating, disgusting. Instead of serving people she starts talking with her colleagues about her personal life such as, her mental health, her smoking, vices, her divorce, how lonely she is etc. Seriously, what a disgusting woman. When she got round to serving me she gave me no advice of what account I should open. Seriously, what a mean, heartless women who discriminates between her customers. Why do they keep unstable people in the job.

cpapstorelondon, went to these people to get a state of the art mask or at least so I thought, the problem I have is that the old full face masks annoy my eyes and no matter how i adjust it, it moves to irratate my eyes.
i recieved this new mask damaged and rang them up, it took them a long time to answer and when they did answer it seemed ok, however they said they would send confirmation which i havent recieved.

The gentleman that i had the privileged of help from. When I called OVO ENERGY.
Was absolutely a calling had put off calling.
Due to my personal issues.
Al9ng with my issue in hand.
However I am saddened that I don't recall his name.
As the gent does deserve to be given the insight of great full myself is.
Especially regarding the MATTER I CALLED FOR.
LET ALONE ALL THE MATTERS THE GENTLEMAN GOT COVERED FOR ME.
ALL COMPANI3S SHOULD HAVE STAFF LIME HIMSELF.

I travelled on KLM airlines from…

I travelled on KLM airlines from Edmonton Canada to Humberside UK, one change at Schiphol Airport. Told by KLM staff flight was cancelled. This was on Friday 08.09.2023 and there would be no flight until Monday 11.09.2023. Myself and hundreds of passengers where told to follow staffs instructions and get hotels and meals. customers will be reimbursed, It was utter chaos, hundreds of people wanting information and the staff did not know what to do with so many people not one manager available. Now after several letters, emails and been told money laid out will be paid back, i have email stating this, I am still waiting today and the case keeps getting closed and i have to start again. Now been waiting over 5 months would be interesting to see how many other people are in the position boat as me
