Terrible Service

Took over 2 months for We Repair to tell us our dishwasher could not be repaired after multiple visits and telling me twice the parts supplied were broken and once the supplier sent the wrong part. Not only put us right off We Repair but off Hisense Dishwashers too. I returned it for a full refund and bought a Bosch. Terrible service from start to end.

The guy was supposed to come on…

The guy was supposed to come on Tuesday, but turned up unannounced the Friday before. Complete lack of communication between employr - employees.

Repairs too Ages and cancelled without…

Repairs took Ages and cancelled without telling us, when the repair was done the engineer pulled the dishwasher against my at the time 4 week old washing machine door and damaged it. Nothing has been done about even though reported it.

Helpful

I found the staff on the phones very helpful but when the new grill pan arrived it had the wrong screws and the sliders were missing. I ended up cannibalising the old grill pan.

Anthony was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Super friendly, professional and worked so quickly – I couldn’t believe how efficient he was. The scratch on my car is completely gone, it looks perfect, like it never even happened. Honestly, he’s a real magic man! Couldn’t recommend Anthony and Shine enough, such a brilliant service.

Rushed & unsatisfactory job

The engineer came and looked at my dishwasher very briefly and left saying he’d fixed the problem without hardly doing anything or giving me much info. Once he had gone, I tested it and the same problem was there! I called him and he then said it needed a new part & that he’d return the next wk to fix it with the new part.
His next visit was similar. He tried installing the new part but then said he’d ordered the wrong part! He spent max 10
minutes on it (which I think also worsened the issue further) and again, without much explanation, he left. And then I got a text saying my dishwasher was written off and needed to be replaced !
This was not a satisfactory experience for me.

I had a great experience with WeRepair when I experienced issues with my Fridge Freezer. Customer services were great in booking in a quick appointment and the engineer was excellent in diagnosing and rectifying the issue. A complete flawless service.

Poor outcome

I was impressed with the initial contact, however, there is only 1 gas engineer for this company, and they were on holiday, so had to wait 2 weeks for an engineer. Then the team thought they would help by getting another company to help and I am still waiting. Estimate date is 28th Aug so still waiting. That doesn't make into account parts that may be required.

Issues with the repair engineer sent out

Although when I was finally able to get the direct phone number from the appliance insurance company and the office staff were wonderful, my experience with the repair engineer was a nightmare.

My appointment was scheduled for a slot between 8.30-1pm and marked as a priority due my chronic health and disabilities issues. I was told that the engineer would call prior to arrival.

The engineer hadn't arrived by 1pm (my health was suffering). After several phone calls to the WeRepair office who were very helpful, compassionate, being assured that although the engineer was delayed he would arrive by 'x' times and would call me.

The engineer didn't call until approximately 4pm. When I politely explained that this urgent repair was noted as a priority customer and my health was suffering, the engineer made a very inappropriate and offensive comment.

When the engineer finally arrived he seemed annoyed, etc and even my closest friend and unofficial carer who was also present found the engineer's attitude and demeanour unacceptable.

I don't fault the WeRepair office staff who were trying to help however I do fault the engineer - his disregard/ignoring the his noted instructions, his attitude and comment and the extreme lateness of his arrival which caused great stress and affected my poor health further.

It is unfortunate that one engineer affected my review so negatively.

Took five months and numerous visits to complete. Several scheduled appointments were cancelled, using excuses such as illness, vehicle broken into, lost the parts, ordered wrong parts. Very rarely answered telephone
