Scam, they send you a letter asking for payment for the registered trademark

This company monitors trademark applications with worldwide bodies, then sends out letter that looks exactly like a bill, but in the fine print, and by fine I mean font size 3, they clarify "this is just an offer, not an invoice". BS predatory behaviour.

Just recieved the Trademark SCAM letter. They are asking for $2,700 USD to register my trademark.

Nice business if anyone falls for it.

I received a letter from Worldwide Trademarks asking for payment of £869 to Mandat Consulting. I didn't pay it and I recommend anyone reading this - do not pay it!

Company is registered to a ghost office at Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk.

Following the registration of a brand, I received a letter from this company which amounts to a scam, trying to get people to pay 937€. I believe they scrap brand registering open data to send these out - beware !

Asks you to pay money for registering a trademark.

It's simple: it's a scam. They send you a letter after you've registered your brand asking for extra money to "secure" it, but they don't have the authority to secure anything. They play with your fear of losing your brand, asking for money. In my case, it was €937.

French authorities warned me about these types of scam, particularly by mail, and I thought it was an exaggeration. It's not.

Scammers. Zero stars if I could.

Scam. Sent me unsolicited letters in the post asking for £869 per trademark. They get your details from the government trademark register. They go by different company names. I went on the website and they're listed under a City address in London which is a fake address. DO NOT PAY THEM WHATEVER YOU DO. I reported them to the IPO office and Action Fraud.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Worldwide Trademarks in an effort to protect others from falling victim to their deceptive practices. Red flags emerged, as I have already requested the trademark through GOV.UK and I started to question this letter I got today and the legitimacy.

It seems like I am not alone regarding this circumstance. During my investigation, I came across others who have also been duped by Worldwide Trademarks. Stories mirrored my own, with devastating consequences for their finances, emotional well-being, and overall trust in legitimate businesses.

In light of my experience, I urge everyone to exercise caution and be vigilant when dealing with companies like Worldwide Trademarks. I cannot stress enough the importance of conducting thorough research before engaging with any business. Look out for warning signs, trust your intuition, and seek out reviews and testimonials from reputable sources.

Worldwide trademarks is a fishing expedition. The "invoice" is a request for payment for a non existent service

It's a scam. I started a trademark registration a few weeks ago. Yesterday I got a letter from them.
They offer nothing valuable for approx. £900

This company sent me a letter demanding £869 for a trademark application, which is unnecessary because my trademark is already protected through gov uk.

Their letter looks like an invoice Don't fall for this.

This company sits on a perch looking at all the trademarks that will be applied for and then writes a letter to every one of them asking for £900 in exchange for nothing really aside from standing outside of your trademark with their arms crossed.
Nobody needs a trademark to trade and the trademark application is protected when granted. If they object to it themselves they need a valid reason and the only reason would be they made a company and registered it after your trademark was made in response to it being created which then would not work as a suitable challenge as you came first.

Nobody has anything to worry about with this company. Do not pay them any money at all. It is only one stage away from the Nigerian Prince emails.

As mentioned in another review, this operation is as close to a scam as possible. I think they are legal, but only just. I emailed a David Shack who politely removed my name from their list. But politeness doesn't cover up the scam approach. The letter I received in the post is too much like an invoice. I suspect they money they've received through this method must be fraudulent. Stay away!

Disgusting! They break the law sending me letters to my home address and requesting £869 for trademark application. My trademark is already protected via gov uk! No telephone number! What kind of serious company doesn't have the telephone number for customers?! They say I made the application on the 30/08/2023. Well, I made the application later but that date is a date of me opening my Ltd company. They know the registered business classes etc. Sending bank details to make payment! They used my logo without authorisation! My logo is printed on that letter and nobody asked my permission! Just setting off to Yorkshire Police Station to report scam!

Discusting! Reported to the authorities and to the ICO for breach of personal data sending addressed letters to my home address unsolicited - SCAM RUN A MILE DONT ENGAGE ! GOV.UK are aware of their activity
