I just wanted to share how much I appreciate WorldAnvil.com and the wonderful people behind it. My husband, Master Magnus, has been using their platform for the past roughly three years to work on an anime-inspired TTRPG project, and it’s truly become his creative sanctuary. Recently, the World Anvil team left him the kindest message, giving him time to catch up. That small act of kindness meant so much to us. I’m so grateful that there’s a space where he can world build and create so freely, with encouragement and support from a community and staff that genuinely care. It’s amazing to see how hard the team at World Anvil works for creators like my husband, and it inspires me deeply. Thank you for fostering creativity and for supporting the dreams of so many.

been using WorldAnvil for a while - mostly to have my fanfic and LARP chars under control & accessible wherever I am.
there's still quite a few features I'd like to see implemented in the future, but in general it's an awesome tool. the WA team is super responsive and super nice, too. also very quick to answer in case of issues!

World Anvil is a great comprehensive world building tool, with a wonderful community. Customer service has always been second to none when having any issues.

I've only just started to tap into all the features, but I've had a lot of fun with what I've discovered so far. Dimitris, the founder, promptly assisted with beginner issues and questions I was having.

In my early years of writing it has always been difficult to gather all my thoughts and put them in one place constructively. I’ve never liked everything in a bunch of word documents. World Anvil does it best when allowing you to gather everything together and artistically display your creation.

World Anvil's team and community are always wonderful to work with and kind. It's a great community and very useful for scatterbrains like me.

It took a bit to get responses but that’s understandable especially with them having to respond to lots of emails. Other than that they were very helpful.

It is an overall great website with many tools to help create and keep track of your works, and the site itself looks beautiful. The customer support is also quick and great, and I got the help I needed fast and orderly.

Excellent way to build and organize a world. Many features (though you might have to have a certain subscription to use them). The Timeline feature got a huge and fantastic update that makes it a joy to work with.

World Anvil is amazing! I only recently needed customer support and Ioanna was so nice over email.
I’ve also only used a little of the site so far as I’m in the early stages of making my first world, but already it’s such a smooth experience. I can make notes and the map sections are perfect for editing and adjusting pieces.
I came from other sites like campfire for story and world creations, and as much as comparisons can be unhelpful, I can’t help but say I far prefer WA.

World Anvil is an amazing site, and the founders and team behind it are caring, diligent, and responsive. While it is not difficult to get started, there are many ways to go deeper and customize the worldbuilding experience. I especially enjoy the ability to link articles to maps through a variety of pins, as well as the nested organizational trees that help me keep track of everything, something that is difficult for me most of the time. I created my account a few years ago, and while bouts of burnout have made me take breaks from time to time it is something I always look forward to going back to when I am ready.

World Anvil is a great platform for everyone who enjoys writing, role play or world building in general. With a lot of great tools you can create wikis for your own worlds, with map, characters, story lines etc.
The free version is great. If you can afford it, the fair subscription model elevates your experience to a whole new level! You should definitly try World Anvil!

Worldanvil is an innovative and usefull tool that helps organise and set up all worlds one may want to make for practically any purpose, from writing books to running tabletop games. Not to mention if there is an issue with your account they directly inform you and work with you to fix it. (Even if the issue lies on your end). They are very patient and nice.

Great product, supported by a great team. Would recommend for campaigns great and small!

I've been running my worldbuilding and GameMaster sessions on WorldAnvil for 4 years now. Systems, characters, planets, locations, stats, GM tips, relationships, player details, etc. all in a world that is easily accessible to both my players and myself. Even the small plans already offer everything you need to run your campaign or world completely online, if you can live with adverts. At higher levels you can even buy away adverts and unlock more and more features that you might need - or didn't know you needed - they are constantly improving, changing and modifying the possible options and features you have. It's not perfect, to be honest I went nuts at times when the performance broke down due to the amount of pages and entries in my world - but they've worked on it, they've improved it and brought it back to the old performance. Also the community is helpful and friendly as far as I can tell over the last 4 years. That combined was the reason I got the Eternal subscription finally. This portal deserves it and I haven't regretted it.

Such a great place to get all your thoughts together for your epic story adventure. It's a little confusing and overwhelming at first, but they have plenty of videos helping you to use the site. Highly recommend!

World Anvil can be an excellent tool for both personal projects and collaborating with others on creative works and world-building. From a broad suite of editing and formatting options, to a variety of types of resources (characters, timelines, story beats, etc.) it's easy to manage your storytelling and coordinate with other creators.

If you're finding the likes of shared text docs and wiki sites limiting and looking to move up for a purpose-built experience, Word Anvil offers a more robust workshop environment to explore developing something special with easy tools and a development and support team who care about their users.

I’ve been a customer of WorldAnvil for a couple of years now and recently decided to get a lifetime subscription. The customer team reached out to me to make sure they understood the request and were good about crediting the unused portion of my annual subscription towards the cost. The process was super easy.

The product itself is great, I’ve used it for planning out campaigns and one shots as well as sharing information with the players of the games that I run. Would definitely recommend.
