I've been using WVT for several years, but this time I noticed AI was inclued in the meeting. I'm not sure why.

I really enjoyed the tour of Luxor…
I really enjoyed the tour of Luxor temple! My late mother was born in Luxor in 1923 while my grandparents were in the Christian "missions" that were there back in those days. Mom liked to say she emerged from Tut's tomb.My second generation Irish grandparents spoke fluent Arabic, cooked Egyptian food, and remembered Egypt for the rest of their lives after they returned to Pittsburgh, Pa in tge 1930s. We have inherited some interesting pictures and other keepsakes from their years there.
I thought the guide, Khalid ( hope that is spelled correctly)did a wonderful job combining modern updates on more recent excavations with the history of the temple. He was clear and easy to follow given that there's a lot to cover in an hour! The presentation of the pictures gave a viewer sufficient time to it look at everything while he spoke! All in all, it was a delightful hour well spent. I told my siblings and cousins to take the tour!Thank you.
Great deal for the price
Great deal for the price. I loved that the guide was local. He was delightfully enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. I would do it again, for sure!
$10 for one hour was a great deal
$10 for one hour was a great deal. I would have paid more for a more in-depth tour but considering it was only $10 it was well worth the money.
I really enjoyed the tour

A taste of Ancient Egypt in an hour
The tour gave us a small taste of what it's like to visit the sites in Egypt. The guide was very knowledgeable, engaging and willing to answer questions. I would recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in travel and ancient history.
Fabulous tour
Fabulous tour, the guide was passionate and knowledgeable. The guide was also fun and interactive with people when they spoke. Would highly recommend!
Ramesses II…
Khalid's tour of the temples connected with Ramesses II was excellent.Very informative and delivered with enthusiasm. He spent time at the end cheerfully answering all the questions posed.Giving tours in this format is not an easy task when juggling with technology! In these lockdown days it is great to be able to travel virtually and get a taster for or revisit these wonderful sites. We have done several of the Egyptian tours and enjoyed them all. Thanks again Khalid,we look forward to our next trip!
My daughter and I have watched a number…
My daughter and I have watched a number of these now. We have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The information was given with enthusiasm and humour and I am amazed that our guide could be sat at home in Luxor and talk is through his presentation all the time dealing with buffering and freezing of his screen.
A thorough enjoyable experience and shame on those who say they are disappointed.
Fantastic
My daughter is home educated and as part of our Ancient Egypt topic we booked onto two tours my daughter absolutely loved every minute of it very informative and we will be looking to book onto more very soon
Not very proffessional.got some facts…
Not very proffessional.got some facts wrong should have been powerpoint presentation not just walking round with a camera. will not pay to watch another one.
my first virtual tour.
my first virtual tour and not sure of what to expect. Our guide in Luxor was a treasure trove of knowledge and anecdotes with just a touch of humour. He answered EVERY question in a long, unchecked, Q&A sesssion at the end and I learned much more than I expected, so it is amazing VFM.
Everything was excellent
Everything was excellent! The guide was very polite, full of knowledge and loves his job! A great experience which we hope to have the chance to enjoy when we are able to travel again! Keep up the good work!
Wonderful experience and learned so…
Wonderful experience and learned so much about our collective human history!
Really enjoyed this virtual tour
Really enjoyed this virtual tour
Egyptologist was really knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and can’t wait for another one!
Lifetime virtual tourists
We attended the King Tut talk and virtual tour of his tomb. The Egyptologist who guided us was very knowledgable and the content was engaging. The link in the Eventbrite page was not working, but I tried clicking the image below which got us into the zoom session. If the other talks are like this, we will be lifetime virtual tourists! Can’t wait to find another!
Very informative tour
Very informative tour. The guy was incredibly knowledgeable. Very obliging answering lots of questions at the end. The guys egyptian accent was a little tricky for my children to understand so they weren’t paying attention which was a shame as it was primarily for them!

Very informative tour with a friendly and efficient host. Will definitely take another tour
This was brilliant!
This was brilliant! Ragab was superb - knowledgable, kept the flow going, appropriately humorous and we will definitely be looking him up when we (eventually!) get to visit in person. The subject is fascinating and it was excellent to actually see the mummy.
