I recorded several episodes of my show in their podcast studio for Season 17. The team was super friendly and the studio made the perfect background for this season. It was great to be able to plug right into their equipment and press record with little setup needed.
I will book again.

I'd work here every day if I could :)

I've been visiting the St Cross Street branch in Farringdon on and off for a year now.

The space is exactly what you'd hope for - it's visually appealing yet comfy, the coffee and breakfasts are brilliant, there's plenty of pods for calls, huge meeting rooms (especially for central London) and a podcast studio of dreams.

But for me what makes Work.Life special is the community focus. The team are genuinely welcoming and lovely humans. From the community manger to the cleaners its all beamy smiles and can do attitudes.

It can get lonely working alone/remotely/in a startup and the culture here makes a difference.

Finally - summer - that outdoor space is incredible to eat alllllll-the-foods from the nearby food stalls. Go hungry!

Really productive working day with my (usually remote) team a couple of weeks ago in Camden.

So helpful fitting us in last minute, friendly service, great coffee, peaceful breakout spaces. Will definitely be back for when we pop back into London.

Excellent service, great buildings

I’ve spent time in a number of Work.life’s locations and have been very impressed with how attentive their staff are. The buildings are maintained to a excellent standard and they constantly go above and beyond in service.

Our team uses Work.Life near Farringdon station - the team are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is ever too much to ask. The space is beautiful, with loads of space apart from our office to use - great private phone booths, meeting rooms and soft seating for quick catch ups. Every week there’s something to look forward to - we love coming in.

Going down hill with crackling sockets

I enrolled my company with work.life a couple of years ago. The environment (and coffee) is great plus the staff try to be as helpful as they can. However things have steadily been going down hill. The office space in Liverpool St is crowded, there's always issues connecting to the TV and webcam. Last time we had a meeting room booked out and none of the power worked...in fact one of the sockets were crackling! Very dangerous.

Their in-person spaces and team are brilliant, but online support is bad

Their spaces in London are brilliant, the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful.

But if you ever have problems go in-person, their online support is shocking, no-one ever replies to tickets or emails.

Before I got my membership, I was having issues with the account I created, I literally emailed 3 times saying can someone help as I want to buy a membership (like take my money) - no one ever replied 4 months' later even after chasing. So I just went to one of the offices and did it in person.

I also have another outstanding ticket on invoicing, no one's ever replied to it.

Poor experience when interviewing for a role with Work Life. Would not recommend.
Even after trying to contact their supposed 'Head of People' Laura Ash directly, they have avoided giving any feedback what so ever. This poor experience has also been coupled with them using a weak recruitment agency/agent that have shared incorrect information.

Work.Life Soho is an absolute gem!

Work.Life Soho is an absolute gem! The team's positive vibes are infectious, making it a joy for me to return to the office even after a holiday this week. I could easily cry otherwise but their uplifting atmosphere keeps me smiling and productive. Big thanks to Harriet, Laura, and Martyn.

Love our Soho community

We moved into this Work.Life location during Covid, as we wanted our team to be in a setting that was lively, friendly and bustling with activity (which our corporate block on Regent Street was not delivering). We've been so happy we've signed up for another three years and taken a bigger private office! The WL team here (Martyn, Kobe, Imo) make coming into the office a pleasure and work hard to create a welcoming, positive, creative place to call home. We also love the purpose-driven culture that is backed up by WL HQ

Work.Life

W.T.F.Life
Having been a member for the past year and really enjoying the experience a colleague and had what can only be described as a shocker of an experience at the Soho London branch. It definitely has a different vibe to the other branches but what separated out this experience was the utterly unprofessional behaviour of the staff. 6 interruptions during customer calls all over being sat at a 4 person bench when there were only two of us (and nowhere else to go). Then there was a billing "mistake" midway through the day, not retrospective as usual...more hassle. By this time both my guest and were truly short on patience. I travelled home to find an email from them complaining that i was rude.
The Soho staff are curt and unprofessional certainly compared to other branches, looking at their demographic and remembering this is a collab in Soho, if you're over 40 and a business professional I would strongly consider other options.

Reply from Work.Life

Hi Rog,

Thanks for your feedback, we’re sorry to hear that your experience at Work.Life Soho wasn’t as you expected.

This was a particularly busy day at the space and since the booth you were sat in had space for 4 people, the team wanted to confirm that your 3 other guests were going to be attending. In the end, only 1 guest did arrive, but you were able to stay in the 4-person booth for the rest of the day. We also added a day pass for your guest, and this was invoiced immediately.

As a Work.Life member, you have access to our desk availability tool which will tell you whether a space has lots of room before you attend – or you are always welcome to give our membership teams a call before coming in if you’d like confirmation.

If you would like to discuss this in more detail with the space manager, please email soho@work.life.

We hope this doesn’t deter you from using Work.Life again in the future.

Thanks,
Team WL

Lovely co-working space

I like the setting, how friendly everyone is, and how helpful the staff is. I feel very at ease every day like I'm going to my real job. I think this is a great place to work. I would tell friends and family to tryWorkLife.

No initiative, incompetent.

Log in machines don't work, then times are made up.
Staff don't understand concept of customer service if it is outside of their robotic cheeriness- such as in contacting IT to ensure customers are not overcharged for their broken machines. Dreadful. Then staff don't respond to emails. Have to chase up to get it sorted out (still not resolved).
