I tried to contact the Customer Service…

I tried to contact the Customer Service & technical service yesterday but both were not accepting calls. This morning I tried again, the Customer Service was answering in German, no one picked up from the Technical Service. I waited till 9.00 am to call instead of 7.00am their opening hours. What is going on? Surely they can answer calls if they are working from home & have dropped their children to school.

Worst service ever!!!

Worst service ever!!!! I paid over £400 for repairs and replacement and was told I didn't need s new boiler only a few remedial works that needs doing to meet current regulations which was no big issues but 5 months down the line it starts leaking!!!!! Which it never did before!!!! I called up worchestire bosch and they wanted to charge £400 again!!! Absolutely outrageous customer service was telling me its an old boiler do I want a new one!!! The engineer told us we didn't need a new one!! Im so confused I get a repair, replacement of parts, a boiler service then 5 months later theres a leak and they want to charge us again how the he'll does that work. On top of that adding Insult to injury engineer who visited did the repairs and service said we dont need a new boiler the the customer service is convinced we need a new one! Terrible customer service and terrible workmanship in that case!!!!!

Terrible customer services - Just for the Worcester guarantee document

This is about the Worcester boiler guarantee document. Dont know why Worcester refused to send this with many of my Gas engineer request and my own requests and it is upsetting to me as their customer services is hopeless and very unhelpful. I am trying to sell my house and they keep refusing to send this saying each time it takes 72 hours and waited we did and nothing. Today they asked me to wait again so it is really terrible of them.

Prompt friendly service

Fantastic service from Emily (engineer S3EW) arrived very open minded and determined to resolve an ongoing problem with the heating system, quickly diagnosed and repaired problem. Good standard of customer care and prompt service from Worcester Bosch.

My appologies to WorcestorBosch

The review (below) was before i was visited by a Worcester Bosch engineer who informed me that the smart valves should not have been fitted to our current radiators, due to the age and design of the radiator fittings. That they would never work as they should, with the very old valve bodies we had fitted.

This is something i did bring up with the installer before the installation. But clearly, i should have been more direct (e.g. will they work or not?) before incurring the additional cost of the smart valves and extra labour charge.

You live and learn.

Had this Worcester combo boiler fitted in November 2024 and the ‘control’ app is bloody useless. Constantly losing connection with my boiler then suddenly springing back into action only to lose contact again a few days later. It’s totally unreliable but no heating over Xmas was the last straw! Although I’m sure that they would say otherwise, there is nothing wrong with my internet or Wi-Fi connection. They really do need to step up immediately because as it is it’s simply not fit for purpose.

Easy Control App. Working Again

Had problems for months using Easy Control App . Could not figure out what had gone wrong. Had been using it for 4 years without a problem. Got advise from Worcester Bosch re Broadband blocking the signal. Spent countless hours on the phone, what's app, customer services with my provider Sky who could do nothing to help. Eventually, after reviewing all my correspondence I made a bold decision. I changed Broadband,TV and talk supplier(sky) and moved to Vodafone. Within 2 minutes of being connected up I was using Easy Control App. effortlessly. Gone are the months of bending ,lying down and almost wrecking my old body to control the temperature of my rads. Thank you so much Worcester Bosch for putting me on the right track.
I hope this review is useful to others who have similar problems.

Appalling customer service.

I have had a very poor experience with a WB oil Combi boiler purchased just over 4 years ago. Our own reliable engineer stated that it was unrepairable. The customer service at WB has been horrendous. They don’t seem disappointed at all that a product that they have said should last 10-15 years only lasted 4 years. They are keen to blame any extra boiler fault rather than consider that it’s probably a boiler fault. I would strongly discourage buying a WB oil Combi boiler.

Shambolic Company

Appointment was booked for a replacement of an expansion valve. Date was set and I received a text message the day before to say the engineer would be with me tomorrow between 7.30am and 5.30pm.

I took a day off work and on the day of the visit I received a text message at 7am telling me that an engineer would be with me today.

I received a link to track the engineer and this said he was due to visit my property between 7.30am and 10.30am.

At 7.45am I check the tracking schedule and the message said “appointment cancelled’

I called customer support and was told the appointment was cancelled due to not enough time being booked for the appointment to do the job.

If I hadn’t looked at the tracker I would be sitting all day waiting for an engineer that would never have arrived.

What a shambolic organisation.

9F 855 code £700 up in smoke oil boiler…

9F 855 code £700 up in smoke oil boiler **** Worcester Bosch engineer came out supposedly fixed Nov 022 Feb 023 same problem. NO HOT WATER NO HEATING!!! 5 days by Tuesday 14th Feb 023. Worcester accredited engineer out needs part other engineer said he'd compensate for with different nozzel. As the part needed only comes with flue kit???? So how come this guy can get this part and is ordering it?? Engineer coming back 14th Feb 023 to clean fix replace part, and get going. Going to cost best part of £500
Then he can't say it will work consistently as once sooted up will keep sooting up. We need a new boiler, don't know how we would pay for one. So many lies, you can't trust the local engineers, the actual Worcester Bosch /accredited engineers contradict each other. I feel we've been fed so much rubbish to bleed us dry.Stuck cold in winter no heat no hot water. 😱😭😭 Worcester Bosch your engineers are abysmal.

Oh the weather inside is frightful

Oh the weather inside is frightful
I have an 18 month old worcester-bosch boiler that has an error code of 227. It hasn't been working since Friday and my house is currently 10 degrees with no heating and no hot water.

Worcester-bosch have informed that no engineer is available until Thursday 15th December this is outrageous, they can't even call me to try and talk me through some possible fixes, am I expected to live in a house that is only 9 degrees warmer at mid day than outside temperatures which is currently 1 degree and sure to drop by the evening?? I have two children aged 10 and 12 that were unable to shower before school and will be unable to shower until Thursday evening possibly Friday morning?

Is this some kind of joke?

Top job

Firstly Bosch made contact by phone to arrange the appointment - this was done within a few days. This was then confirmed by text. James the engineer rang to say he would arrive in half an hour and he was spot on. James fixed the boiler very efficiently. He was knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant. He advised me how to best use the water system and heating. He left the area clean and tidy. He was absolutely superb. Thank you James.

Worcester Bosch Boiler No Heating No Hot Water No Service

Installed a Worcester Bosch by their accredited installer at a cost of over £3,500, 14 months ago. Came with a 12 year guarantee and recommended by Which magazine. Within the last 3 weeks it has broken down 3 times and the installer told me I was just "unlucky." The third breakdown was 7am this morning (Friday) No Heating and no Hot Water again. Contacted Bosch and their customer service is a joke!! No repair available until Monday...no emergency repair service. No weekend repairs.....Monday is 4 days away and that's a guarantee of 3 days and a part of a 4th day In a cold house during cold weather with no heating and no hot water for two vulnerable adults. The favourite words of their customer service is "I can only apologise" and "I am unable to help you further" This is the reality of a company that advertises that they pride themselves on having a reputation that is second to none and have a market leading customer service and guarantees that provide reassurance. So they bank my money and I am literally left in the cold !! So if you are thinking of buying a boiler from Bosch, Think again and go somewhere else. Just over a year since installed and a 12 year guarantee and I experience my 3rd breakdown, again No Heating & No Hot Water and no one available to fix it for 4 days....Reliable products?..Terrific Service? Not worth the paper it's written on.

The boiler is fine, but DON'T have an Easy Control programmer.

It's difficult, sometimes, to find the words. But I'll try...

It appears that Bosch have decided to run the "Easy Control" app through their own internal system. So Worcester Bosch is now an intermediary between you and your boiler in the next room, when you wish to turn the heating on. Why? You may well ask. Data hoarding? Control freakery? Some crazy "green" objective? Who knows? The problem is that their IT, or their IT staff just aren't up to the job.

It has caused total chaos as customers find that their heating controls either won't connect, or keep disconnecting, or just won't work at all. Manual override is rudimentary and unreliable, so then you're well and truly stuck!

Their tech people either don't answer the phone, or just put you on hold until you give up - presumably because they're experiencing rather more heat than their poor old customers! Anyway I don't want to be a Guinea pig in WB's big IT experiment, so My "Easy Control" (NOT) programmer is going back for a full refund and I'll fit a Honeywell or a Nest. It is not of merchantable quality.

Don't buy it. Don't try it. Really, really, don't. You won't enjoy being unable to control your heating as the winter comes in.
