Had 4 detectors from Wolds detecting now. Always honest and show what is in my price range and not over the top! Honest and no bullshit! Got 2 of the 4 machines left and also now got the son-in-law interested.
Great selection of books too bought a nice collection of them too.

Never even picked a detector up but after some arm twisting from the wife who has already used this company several times I went down to be confronted by Mick & Jeanette, two of the nicest people you will ever meet.

I told them that I needed help with a complete setup and their advice was spot on. I now have a really good setup and have already used it on the beach and had a great time. Honest companies can sometimes be hard to find, these guys are that.

Absolutely outstanding, one of those shops you can literally spend hours chatting about progressing the hobby knowing you will always get honest and impartial advice on gear and techniques. This afternoon I bought a top end metal detector at a fair price with extras thrown in. To make matters even better, Wolds Detecting is a huge supporter of Yorkshire Air Ambulance. I will be back soon for definite :)

Been looking at getting into the hobby for a bit but unsure of what i needed! Helpful advice and was a change to see a company that value customers rather than trying to sell the most expensive item. Instead sold me a nice little set up with advice on what to do and how to do it! Would recommend to anyone thinking of giving the hobby a go!

Called at the new premises to buy a couple of items and I ordered a hoodie with my own logo on to wear while detecting as the weather is getting colder and they made it exactly as I wanted.
The hoodie was great quality and great value for money.
