#1 $25.00 month increase.
#2. Two weeks no pickup. Credit back only partial. Should have been $13.00. Was told I can only get$8.00.
#3. Now today a 1-800 call back today..stating our trash was picked up out on hey 301.
We live down a private lane over 30years..always came..she asked if we got notified about our cans to be put out on hey 301.
I said no.. she hung up on me.
We are not the only family who lives down our lane.

Customer service reps are combative and unhelpful. There's no way to cancel service online, and they give you the runaround on the phone. I've called several times and asked for a manager and they hang up on me. Do not do business with this company.

Terrible service, completely unreliable
Wasted Managed have been absolutely terrible. Their customer service is shocking. After calling them, instead of actually helping, they just send you a text link to use their online chat, which is completely unhelpful and gets you nowhere.
They have missed the collection of our hygiene bin and we are still waiting for it to be collected. It was supposed to be done in November, and months later nothing has happened.
To make matters worse, I can’t even access my online account, which incorrectly states that my account has been cancelled, yet my direct debits are still being taken. This means I can’t even check when my contract ends.
I emailed customer services about the missed collection and the account issues and have had no reply after over a week.
Completely unreliable company. I will not be renewing and would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Probably the worst company I’ve ever dealt with personally or professionally. SCAMMERS AND CROOKS. Autorenwals hidden and exit fees disproportionate. NOTHING BUT HELL OVER THE YEARS. DONT USEEEEEEEEE

Co email rescheduled garbage pick up from Friday to Saturday due to weather conditions, but did not show up. This is second that happened even with huge negative common. Don’t think Co would change the way of running garbage service.

Long-time commercial customer. No follow-up when contacted via e-mail and chat is a joke. After months of no contact, I entered a request to cancel the service due to ever-increasing pricing. Fee almost doubled in two years despite having a contract in place. Was told that since the correspondence took so long to pass through their organization, cancellation would take an additional month. Chat gave me the wrong phone number, and I spent more than 90 minutes getting to a person who could help. Was then told of the cancellation's effective date. Now, a follow-up call informed me that I need to pay more than 300.00 plus fuel for them to pick up their container, and I will need to pay an additional month's charge even though I put the request in before their cutoff date. Found a service to provide me with almost identical service for approximately 1/2 the cost, and it took one phone call and one e-mail to set up.
New container showed up in less than 36 hours.
February 2026 update: Despite repeated promises that my service is cancelled, they are still debiting a monthly charge for no services rendered. Received phone calls to explain how things work, but it seems that they don't know how things work. No phone number to call. They were too expensive when they were making my pickups, but now I am paying too much for absolutely nothing.

Our WM bills every 3 months, every bill I've received the last 4 cycles has increased and is now double what we were paying when they bought out Advanced Disposal several years ago.
I canceled 2 weeks before the billing cycle, it is online service only, I screenshot confirmation of cancelation. I removed my payment method, I received an email confirming card removal. Guess what? Still got charged!
Search all over for a #, find one but I'm not sure where it is, hubby calls, gets ripped a new one by someone that won't listen and automatically transfers him. Now, he's been on hold for 30 minutes already, listening to what must be the most intense, horrible jazz that has ever been made.
Everything they do is created to make it impossible to cancel.
If they're buying out your current service, cancel immediately.

I was with WM for 2 years. Occasional missed pickups turned into having to call them every week to pick up. At the same time, prices were going up steadily. The automated phone service would tell me the pickup had been completed. Or that my cans weren't out. A representative once told me that they had a video of the pickup being completed, but it hadn't been. The reps were courteous, but the service was terrible. Then, when I canceled service, they didn't pick up the cans and I had to call them yet again. For your sanity, please pick a different company.

My experience with this company has been extremely bad. I had a contract with them, and it has been almost two months now. During these two months, I was supposed to receive around seven or eight collections, but none of those collections have been done so far.
Despite this, they are continuously taking payments from my card. I even cancelled the direct debit once, but they called again and restarted the payments. Every time someone from this company calls, they say, “Sorry for the missed collection, it won’t happen again.” However, the same issue keeps repeating.
Now my third month has started, and they are still deducting money. When I call them, one person says the date is different, then another person calls and says the previous person gave the wrong information and this is the correct date. It seems like they don’t even know their own schedules.
In my opinion, this company is completely unprofessional and feels fraudulent. I strongly request everyone to check reviews properly before signing any contract. If possible, choose another company, but never make a contract with them. This is my honest advice.
I am giving one star only because their customer service is somewhat polite, but their collection service is absolutely useless and extremely poor.

This company is awful, they only have the one star rating because people have to give it to leave a review otherwise it would be a big fat 0. They overcharge, miss pick ups frequently, have on occasion outright refuse to pick up stating they are "busy"

The drivers are so lazy ,they rather tell a lie about they came and the trash wasn’t out than just pick it up..They need to add other workers on the truck instead of letting the lazy driver just come by themselves. I wouldn’t recommend this company to no one ..They need to do better with pickups ..If the drivers don’t want to work get someone who wants to work…

Ordered a dumpster to be delivered. It was not and I called every two hours to see what the status was. The delivery driver delivered the dumpster to the wrong address, my neighbors house at 6pm on a Friday night and they were closed for the weekend. I called to have this rectified the next business day and got the runaround. They stated that since it was an online order they can not provide any discount or solution. Big company, small customer service. Do yourself a favor and use someone else for dumpster services.

Our area was served by Republic for about 20 years. They supplied 2 trash cans, brown for regular trash and blue for recycling. At this point I do not remember if I had to pay for the bins. But circa 2010 the Township fired Republic and changed to Waste Management, who continued to use the cans supplied by Republic decades earlier. Now after some 30 years our brown collection bin has cracked and we asked WM for a new one. Yesterday after regular collection they left a new green bin but did not take the old brown one that is labeled "Republic." Upon calling them I was told that they could pick it up but we would be charged $25 for oversize collection. The rep said to call Republic for pick up of the old bin since it belongs to them (again I do not recall if I paid Republic or not.) I called Republic but their service rep never answered so I called WM back and asked them to pick up the old bin for the $25 cited. But this time I was told that they cannot pick up a competitor's bin and that Republic had to get it. For the second time I called Republic and was left on hold for over an hour before I just hung up. THE LUNACY HERE IS THAT WM USED THE REPUBLIC BIN FOR A DECADE BUT CANNOT PICK IT UP AS TRASH BECAUSE "REPUBLIC" IS WRITTEN ON THE SIDE OF THE BIN AND THEY "CANNOT" PICK UP THE BIN OF A COMPETITOR. From my perspective, it is my trash and they should pick it up.

I should honestly give a zero rating, this is absolutely the worst company I have dealt with in my life.
On Jan 5, 2026, I called this number (1-866-218-2230) at 10.30 am to cancel my service, I was on hold for more than 2 hrs without getting connected to any agent, I got frustrated and disconnected the call. After about 15 mts, I decided to call again and after 40 mts I was connected to an agent, when I stated that I want to cancel the service, the call was ended by the agent.
I decided to chat online and cancel the service, I was connected to an agent after about 10 mts wait time, the agent said for cancellation that I have to talk to an agent over phone and she couldn’t help me and she me gave another number (1-888-964-9730).
I called the number the online agent gave and after 45 mts got connected to an agent, she took the details and told me that she has to connect another department. (Also not sure what equipment she used kept stating that she can’t hear me). She redirected me to the cart department and again I was on hold for close to 30-35 mts. Finally after getting through, this agent processed the cancellation. He again had the same issue as the previous agent about not hearing me properly and about an echo on my end. Even on my end I had the same issue and am sure the problem was on their end since I was on other calls and never had issue.
After all this, I was told that I will not be getting any confirmation email about the cancellation of my service. Which company now-a-days do not send a confirmation email. Now I am however concerned and hoping that my services will indeed be canceled .

I wish I didn’t even have to leave 1 star. Worst trash company ever. I don’t understand why or how they get away with this. Almost every week they leave my trash can either halfway full or completely full. I can’t wait until my services are over. I will never do business with this company again. They will also tell you they are going to charge you one price then double it when you receive your bill. I’m not even sure what I’m paying for because they don’t pick up my trash.

I am really getting tired of missed pickups from WM. I just got another cost increase from WM and yet their service gets worse. WM missed my recycling pickup on 12/29 ( it was especially annoying since I just learned I received another price increase). I went on the app and WM marked my recycling as picked up as of 2:23 pm which is a lie as it wasn’t picked up. I noted on the app that they missed the pickup. As it showed it would pick up the next day, in about two hours I looked again and it marked it picked up on 12/29 2:23 pm. They never make good on the missed pickups. I as well as other residents of Ross are writing letters to the township. WM contract is up in 2026 and the township needs to find someone else as WM is a horrible company who keeps raising their prices and gives horrible service!!! I am tired of WM’s incompetence!!!

Leave alone absolutely rubbish always calling them for missed collections the help desk are no help just ask for photos to say bin was there then they just make a late collection can’t wait for my contract to run out I’m on the phone more times than they collect it’s just not Christmas this is all through the year

Tried calling 8 times to set up a new commercial account after our account rep left unexpectedly and canceled our services. Their AI answering service is so sophisticated, they just send you in circles and keep asking if you want additional services in Sheboygan. And when you say no, they kindly hang up on you. Guess we’ll be taking our account elsewhere.
