Everything was so well coordinated and if you did have questions, they were answered promptly. From pick up at the airport and throughout the entire trip someone from Wito was always with you. The drivers were professional and the guides were very knowledgeable, professional and so nice! Every where we stayed was beautiful, the staff were so kind and the food was delicious.

From the moment we first contacted Abdullie at Wito Africa, we knew we were in excellent hands. He went above and beyond to customize our Tanzanian safari to our exact specifications, and the resulting trip was truly the adventure of a lifetime. We recently returned from an incredible journey that took us through the breathtaking landscapes of Tarangire National Park, the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, the vast plains of the Eastern Serengeti, and the iconic Northern Serengeti, and we can't recommend Wito Africa highly enough.
The sights we encountered were simply phenomenal. Tanzania is a land teeming with life. We were constantly amazed by the sheer abundance of flora and fauna, including countless animals of every type, some of which were entirely new to us! The birdlife was equally captivating, with a dazzling array of bird species we’d never heard of painting the skies. Beyond the wildlife, observing the Massai people in their traditional settings and learning about their customs was a deeply enriching cultural experience.
Our journey was made even more exceptional by our expert driver-guides, Bosco and Mike. Their knowledge of the parks, the wildlife, and the local culture was outstanding. They were not only skilled drivers navigating the varied terrains but also incredibly adept at spotting animals and sharing fascinating insights including the symbiotic relationships between the different species. We also greatly appreciated Nickson, the photographer who accompanied us the entire trip, ensuring we captured every precious moment.
The accommodations arranged by Wito Africa were nothing short of first rate. We were consistently impressed by the luxury of our "tented" suites, which far exceeded any expectations we had. The food at every lodge was spectacular, offering delicious and varied menus, and the service we received was consistently warm, attentive, and impeccable.
We truly could not have hoped for anything more from our safari. Every detail was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed by Wito Africa. Right from the outset, Wito Africa were excellent in communication. As we travelled extensively in Lake Manyara, Central and Northern Setengeti, Ndutu and Ngorongoro, the guides Alphayo, Rogathi and Edson were excellent. We had some wonderful sightings, including mating lions, a leopard on a tree with no distractions, and a lion pride up close at Ndutu. Karolina and Craig were always at hand to give on-field tips on photography settings and composition. Overall, a very rewarding tour with professionals committed to their job.

I am writing on behalf of myself and husband to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible trip to Rwanda and Tanzania Africa that our agency, WITO Africa Safaris organized for us. It was an experience beyond compare and we are filled with appreciation for the meticulous planning and attention to detail that went into making it such a memorable experience.

From the moment of our first contact with Abdullie to inquire about the trip until our closure telephone meeting at the end of the adventure, every aspect of this experience was handled with professionalism and care. The itinerary Abdullie crafted was perfectly tailored to our interests allowing us to explore breathtaking landscapes of Kigali so well kept and so safe for travelling. We got to experience Kigali Genocide Memorial and learn more about the atrocities 30 years ago and witness the transformation of the Rwandan people to what is now a very peaceful forgiving country. Our guide Bosco provided us valuable insights and recommendations to addressing any questions or concerns. His professionalism and dedication were truly commendable. A wonderful, warm loving human being.
The Volcanoes National Park and the amazing gorilla trekking adventure was a lifetime memory. The outstanding experience in the jungle through dense natural forests where you encounter families of endangered Mountain Gorillas was a highlight and a must to see.
Another highlight was travelling to Tanzania to the Ngorongoro Crater a UNESCO World Heritage Site where we witnessed an abundance of wildlife including the famous Big Five on our wildlife safari. We witnessed and had the privilege of witnessing Africa’s magnificent creatures in natural habitats. It was humbling and unforgettable experience especially viewing the circle of life. Our naturalist guide Michael was a wealth of knowledge and information on all aspects of our safari experience, and we were sad to say goodbye. A professional gentleman with a great deal of passion for what he does.
In sum, our journey to Africa exceeded all expectations to the exceptional service and expertise of Wito Africa Safaris. We returned home with our hearts, souls and eyes full of cherished memories and a profound appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our world.

My experience with Wito was incredible! Everyone I worked with at the company was incredibly helpful and patient. Wito helped design our safari trip from the ground up and helped with planning and answering questions every step of the way. Every aspect of our safari experience with Wito exceeded my expectations. My safari with Wito was absolutely incredible, amazing, life changing and so much more. Every single aspect of the trip was planned for our group, we didn’t have to lift a finger or do anything except be up at the time they told us. My trip with host Jenna was amazing. She was so kind and knowledgeable about Tanzania and the wildlife. Our safari guide Tony was also incredibly knowledgeable as well. He had answers to all our questions whether they were about animals or the nations culture. Abdullie helped with all the initial booking and was available at any time if I had questions and also did a really good job hyping up the Ngorongoro crater which was AMAZING he was right. This is a 10 out 10 experience.

My beach safari experience with Wito was incredible! Every person we encountered was so kind. Abdullie and Jenna were fantastic with arranging and planning all of our adventures.As well as Jenna for being there through all of our adventures and answering all of my random questions. Our tour guide and drive Tony was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable and funny and a joy to be with for all of our drives. This was a once in a lifetime experience that I would highly recommend to anyone!

The entire experience from start to finish was beyond a pleasure. From the initial booking all the way through the actual safari the entire staff at Wito was there to help. Abdullie, Jenna and all of the staff at Wito were extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. Our guide Bosco was very knowledgeable about the area and animals, after this trip I consider him my friend. The safari started with 1 night in Arusha at Villa Maua where we were greeted with traditional Masai welcome, then 2 nights at the Farm House Valley Lodge in the Ngorongoro region, we spent a day in Lake Manyara national park and a day in the Ngorongoro Crater. At Lake Manyara national park we had elephants walk within inches of our Land Cruisers, it was a truly breathtaking experience. From there we traveled to Serengeti National Lark and stayed at Nyikani Central Serengeti Camp, there were elephants walking through the camp when we arrived! The food and the staff there were equally as amazing as the other two locations. On the game drives we saw all of the big 5 in one day! A rare black rhinoceros and a jaguar sleeping in a tree. On the second morning we took a hot air balloon ride with Miracle Experience. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life, sunrise with a rainbow in the background and giraffes off in the distance. The last 3 days we spent at Breezes Beach Club and Spa in Zanzibar, we took a tour of Stone Town, ate dinner at a rooftop restaurant, we went snorkeling with Easy Blue Divers, ate lunch at The Rock restaurant, saw the endangered Red Colobus Monkeys, that are only found in Zanzibar! I cannot say enough good things about Wito and this entire experience. Asante sana Jenna, Abdullie, Bosco and all the staff at every stop we made!

Gorilla Treking in Uganda & Rwanda

I found Wito Africa Safaris by chance on instagram. It appear to me by chance and caught my attention. It was a post regarding gorila treking in Uganda and Rwanda. I sent a DM for further info and Abdullie immediately answered my inquiry. Later we had a live chat to get to know each other. In this interview, I spoke of my expectations regarding the trip and received a beautiful e very detailed email with the trip plan, hotel, parks, etc. And prices and payment schedulled. My trip started on august 6h, in Entebbe, Where Titi pick me up Around 3am and drove me to the hotel. Titi is very polite, respectfull and excelente driver. The next day, Viriano met me at the hotel for a briefing and the next morning we started our drive to Bwind Mountains Where I would do the gorila treking. ON the way, we stopped for chimpanzee treking. Viriano is na amazing driver, very polite, spetacular, Always concerned with my well being. The experience was epic and amazing, unforgettable. After the gorila treking, I was driven to the border of Rwand and Uganda, where I was handed over to the driver-guide Cristian who was responsible for my visit in Rwand. Cristian is awesome! He loves Rwanda and knows just how to transmit his love to us. Actually, he knows all about Rwand, Rwand history and actuallities. There I visited Dien Fosse´s Museum and the Genocide Musuem. We had lunch at a restaurant where the food was superb. I strongly recommend WITO. The organisation and choice of accomodation by Adullie was perfect. My three guides, Titi, Viriano and Cristian were spectacular. I had such a good life experience, and as I Woman travelling solo, I felt extremely safe and respected by my guides. During the trip, the Wito team was Always in contact with me on whatapp to check if all was good. At the end, in Rwand, I was given beautiful souvenirs “a gift bag” with variou souvenires from WITO to take home. Definitely, recomend and my next safari will be with WITO, I have no doubt, because I am sure it will be amazing.

I had the most incredible experience with Alphayo and Karolina to Tanzania. Their expertise was phenomenal, especially Alphayo’s knowledge on birds and Karolina’s knowledge on how to take the right photo with the right settings. She explained it very well. My trip made my year, I had an awesome time with the most interesting and friendly people you could wish for, I hope to return but until then asante sana na kwa heri.

My first safari ever was with Wito and I loved and loved them! My guides were Micheal and Richard - they were extremely knowledgeable, great at spotting animals, and just nice men all around - polite, respectful, helpful. What I thought was so wonderful about Michael was that he was always picking up trash that he spotted on our drives - he truly cared about the animals and their home. I would absolutely use Wito again and highly recommend Micheal and Richard.

This was my first time not only in Tanzania but at a country within Africa. I felt so welcomed and respected by not only the team but by the people in Tanzania from the moment I left the airport to the moment I arrived back to the airport. Wito Africa Safaris allowed me to achieve my goal of reaching the top of mount Kili. The mountain guides and porter team were so cheerful, polite and encouraging. If i had to recommend any company to go with when embarking on such a great adventure I would pick Wito Africa Safaris. I had a lovely time on the safari and I plan to go again with Wito Africa Safaris and their guide Glory. :)

It was my first safari ever and i couldnt have hoped for more. The organisation and choice of accomodation by Abdullie was perfect. Our two guides Michael and Glory were spectacular. you name what you want to see, they will find it. from super rare small cats to mating lions,lion cubs and chasing leopards, mud covered hippos and complaining zebras. Michaels abilities to imitate animal noises were hilarious (the hippo was my personal favourite). we had such a good,fun time and there was no challenge our two guides didnt master.
special dietary restrictions for individuals were all catered for.

I've been several times on safari in different countries but this was my first time in Tanzania and I couldn't have chosen a better safari company for the trip. Since the first moment I felt that Abdullie was offering me the best safari for the days I had and what I wanted. And I wasn't wrong... the itinerary and the different accomodations, everything was perfect. We didn't have long transfers so we had lots of time for game drives. All the accomodations were excellent, I specially liked the tented camp in Serengeti, with the wildebeest passing in front of us when we were by the fire at night and having breakfast under the acacia tree. The lodge in Ngorongoro was also remarkable with stunning views.
And Tanzania was fantastic! I especially enjoyed Serengeti and Ngorongoro and I wish I had more days there... next time! We had some very special moments and wildlife sightings and I also enjoyed the interaction with the maasai kids and the visit to the school where I delivered some supplies and clothes. I encourage everyone to include in their trips some sort of interaction with the local communities.
I was very lucky to have Bosco as my guide and Abdullie hosting the trip. Bosco is a experienced guide and I really appreciated his respect for the environment and wildlife (no need to race with other cars! and I loved when he stopped the car and we were in silence with the beautiful landscape and the animals) We were alone in many sightings, as with the lion on the tree in Serengeti, and Bosco was the best positioning the car for photography. He was also attentive to my movements and when I wanted to take pictures. He was very informative but giving me space to enjoy the moment.
Abdullie was a fantastic host, we shared the passion for wildlife, and I can't thank him enough getting for me the hot air balloon ride one night for the next morning. He took care of everything during the trip and he really cared I got the complete experience!

I had amazing experience. Everything workout as planned and lovely seen. My wife was very happy, and we enjoyed our honeymoon. All places we visited, from Mwanza, Serengeti, Manyara and Tarangire were awesome. I strongly recommanded this company for safari arrangements. My wife and I will definately use them for our future safari's plans.

From the reaching out to getting different options of Safari trips to getting the most suitable choice based on my situation and budget. And to the pickup to the driving through the games and the lodging choices to the interactions with the driver and informative tour guidance.

We spent 3 marvelous days with Godwin in Tarangire, Manyara Lake and Ngorongoro crater. He speaks perfect english, is funny but formal. He explained to us a lot of things about the big amount of animals we could see. Also some curiosities about the flora.

No doubt, we would repeat.

We started working with Abdullie to create our itinerary 2 years ago. Our original plan was to visit Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania, however due to covid we decided to visit only Tanzania this year. We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, the Northern Serengeti and the Central Serengeti.

Every aspect of our safari was so well planned, and the accommodations were lovely.
We had two guides during the duration of our trip, Michael and Juma. Both guides were not only extremely knowledgeable, but so personable and were just as excited to see things as we were, and they were so patient (we had a lot of questions!).
It was great to hear how much they knew about the wildlife and the areas, but we really enjoyed getting to know them as individuals.
To say Michael’s knowledge of birds was amazing would be an understatement. My husband would quickly describe a bird he saw to Michael and he would be able to tell us the type of bird and explain it to us. On top of that, he would always show us in the book and explain further.
Juma’s knowledge of the areas we were in were just astonishing. Sometimes I wondered where we were driving (not that I would have known anyway!), or what we were waiting for, but Juma was always a step ahead. On our last day in the Central Serengeti he drove us further out, and didn’t stop searching for male lions as those were the one big cat we hadn’t seen. Sure enough, Juma found us 3 male lions together!! The best part? We were the ONLY car there, so we were able to spend as much time watching them.

Abdullie and his team were available at all times…even with the time difference, Abdullie answered my emails and texts so quickly, regardless of the time. We really appreciated the communication between the team: Abdullie checking in on us, Michael connecting with Juma when we were changing locations, and vice versa. They just worked so well as a team…it wasn’t as if one individual knew something that the others didn’t, they were all in the communication loop.

We truly loved every aspect of our trip. There isn’t anything we would change. Abdullie was so patient with me throughout the whole planning phase (believe me, I know I’m not the easiest person to work with!), always quickly responding to my numerous emails and questions. Michael and Juma ensured we saw everything we wanted to, and spent as much or as little time viewing the animals as we wanted. In Tarangire there were elephants everywhere, and since Michael knew how much I loved elephants, he would point them out and stop EVERY SINGLE TIME we spotted them (which was quite often lol), and he would just stop and wait until I had gotten enough of watching them.
We saw several river crossings in the Northern Serengeti because Juma was determined to have us watch as many as we could.

Everything throughout our trip was seamless. Would we work with Abdullie and Wito Africa Safaris again? Well, we have the second part of our trip booked for next year already and it wouldn’t be with anyone else! The amount of time Abdullie and his team put into creating the perfect itinerary for you really shows.

I realize this is an extensive review, however this is short compared to how much more I wanted to write about Abdullie and his team, and our trip in general.
I highly recommend anyone who is looking to plan their safari, to just get in touch with Wito…I guarantee from the first response you receive from Abdullie you’ll feel like he’s a friend who just wants to plan the perfect trip for you. You won’t regret it!
