After a very frustrating experience…

After a very frustrating experience with our previous managing agent, we decided it was time to make a change and move our block management to Winfields. The difference has been night and day.

The whole process of switching over was handled smoothly and professionally, and communication has been excellent from the start. It’s such a relief to finally deal with a team that responds quickly and keeps everyone informed.

Laura and Lorraine in the office have both been incredibly helpful and polite whenever we’ve contacted them.

Since the change it’s been smooth sailing. We’re really happy with the service so far and would definitely recommend Winfields.

I was recommended to Winfields Block…

I was recommended to Winfields Block Management, and from the very first interaction, I knew I was in safe hands. Their professionalism, depth of knowledge, and proactive approach have far exceeded my expectations. Block management can often feel stressful and complicated, but with Winfields, everything has been handled swiftly, smoothly, and with complete transparency.

What really stands out is the outstanding communication and support I have received from Laura, Lorraine, and Jane. They are always approachable, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything is dealt with properly and efficiently. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service has given me complete confidence that our block is being managed to the highest standard.

Very Rude

Phoned them up to enquire if they had done a re-build cost assessment and they got really angry on the phone and when I asked for a copy I was put on hold and transferred to someone else who argued with me for awhile before finally agreeing to send it. No need for this poor attitude.

Change of Management Co.

We first met Penny when as Directors we decided to move our block property management to a new provider. We met and discussed with several other providers but Penny & Winfields stood out for their professionalism, prompt visit to the block, honesty, knowledge of leaseholding and ideas to improve the site. The block of 101 flats did not phase her, even given the state the block is in thanks to the failings of our old property manger, so looking forward to the fresh start and improvements with Winfields….

Great company to work with

I have been working with Winfields for a few months now carrying out fire protection works on some of their properties. Everything is always smooth sailing.
They are very organised and nothing is too much trouble.

Exceptional customer service

I don’t usually leave reviews, however, I felt due to the outstanding customer service I received i needed to share my experience with others. From beginning to end it was seamless and couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Nothing was too much trouble and it was so refreshing.

Do not use this company

Winfields were absolutely useless. We discovered after 9 months they had not done anything. They had not renewed our building insurance which had run out 6 months earlier. They had not take over our electricity account, so our account put on an emergency basis and cost us several hundred pounds of unnecessary charges. They did not arrange for normal service visits for our lift. They never carried out any site visits. We decided to end our contract and they had the cheek to charge us £300 for the privilege.
Through out the handover to the new management company they were extremely slow and unhelpful, such that we had to formally threaten them. They also denied that access keys and fobs to our apartment, until we showed them an email stating they had earlier received them.

DO NOT USE WINFIELDS BLOCK MANAGEMENT

This company is TOTALLY inept and NOT worth a one star rating.
The owner is unprofessional and uncaring.
Winfields received payments from us for 6 months before we realised that they had NOT renewed our building insurance. We had been uninsured for 6 months.
They did NOT take over our electricity from our previous management company so were not paying our bills.This resulted in us being placed on an emergency rate by EDF thus resulting in a £1000 extra bill.
In the year that we were with them, they did NOT do a site inspection once.
We had to repeatedly phone them to get them to do anything - very frustrating.
To leave them, they charged a £300 fee.
The ombudsman had to be threatened to enable our new management company to be able to get all our information to take us over.
This type of experience with Winfields is what gives Management Companies a very bad name.
DO NOT USE THEM.
