Took a “punt” on this as I’m always…
Took a “punt” on this as I’m always wary when buying from the internet… thank god I did! Got 6 amazing, authentic bottles of Italian red for a 6th of the retail price. I’m still not quite sure how it works for these guys but it’s certainly worked out for me.
Delivery was speedy and well insulated to risk against any damage.
Will continue to buy my wine from here moving forward.

Feels like a total scam.
Ordered wine after seeing an ad.
A day or 2 later, someone is demanding an annual fee…no mention of this on the ad.
To date nothing has arrived, been over 2 weeks.
I ordered 2 boxes.
‘Customer Service’ ignore requests for a refund, despite asking several times.
Some of these ‘5*’ reviews seem a tad dubious…

Exceptional customer service…
Just can’t fault the customer service of Winedrops. DHL lost one of our boxes of wine (although they took zero responsibility) and WD - notably Joan - was extremely helpful ensuring that refunds or replacements were sorted. She was also patient with me as I was visibly irked by DHL’s incompetence!

Be very careful when you join…
Further to my previous notes, winedrops are now issuing a refund of £119, it took a lot of mails. But at least people are aware of the potential membership fee. winedrops Be very careful when you join winedrops, they say on Thier website if you spend £10 per month you can save £48 a year, sounds great.
What they do not say is that you are joining a free trial and that after the free trial there is a membership to pay of £119.99
The only way I knew was when I saw £119.99 on my credit card, no warning mail to say I was going to be charged and when I did realise I mailed them to complain but all I ever get back from them is that I missed the 14 day cooling off period.
Totally underhand tactics, absolutely disgusted

This is a great idea and useful app
This is a great idea and useful app, with some good deals. I find the links don't always work and I go around in circles. I have unwittingly opened 3 accounts. I ordered a box of wine that never arrived and when I chased it up, found out it was damaged on delivery and could not be replaced. So lost out on a particular deal that had run out. Disappointing.
