Order update
After I payed for my order, for over a week (roughly 10 days) I didnt recieve a single update about my shipment. In your website its impossible to find out about the status of your order, only invoice can be found. Digging through Q&A I found that it can take up to 2 weeks for order to be shipped. This information should be placed in a easily visible place. Also the order status should be easily understandable.

An Order Confirmation is sent as soon as payment is completed, and a Shipping Confirmation follows once the parcel has been dispatched. Your order status can also be viewed at any time in the Buyer section of your account, where tracking details appear once available.

Wine purchased was off
Wine purchased was off. Whilst I accept the company can't guarantee how a wine has been kept, I think there should be some 'duty of care' applied to ensure product is fit for purpose. Try corovinning wines that could be suspect. I think purchasers/bidders would prefer know the product had been tested - it might even increase prices, and therefore, your income.

hidden charges
I was the successful bidder on a lot which emanated from Holland. I was unaware of the extra charges (import duty) as it was not clearly explained to the bidder. i was told retrospectively by the company that if I hovered my mouse over the lot it would highlight the charge.

These help bidders identify when shipping and customs fees may apply. While we aim to keep our delivery prices as competitive as possible and are able to outline these in detail on our website, import duties are set by destination countries and remain outside our control. As these charges can vary and change frequently, we are unable to display the exact charge for each lot and it is the buyer’s responsibility to estimate them before bidding. I was impressed how easy the site was…
I was impressed how easy the site was to use and also how quickly the wines arrived afterwards (within a week). There were warnings about the EU based wines having higher delivery charges but even so this came as a bit of a shock. It won’t stop me using the site again but fingers burned a wee bit there.

Almost flawless process
The product that I won at auction was packaged well for its international destination. Arrived in excellent condition and timely manner. They only negative came from DHL who refuse to delivery directly to our in-house locker system managed by "MyParcelLocker" company. I was forced to pickup from a location kms away from our residence, which was very inconvenient. We will take that up with them for future deliveries. Thanks again for supplying another quality product though.
