DO NOT BUY THIS IS AN Appalling company

Appalling company, advertised a jumper which when arrived was nothing like the online version. Emailed to return, tried to fob me off with a 10% refund and a % of next purchase, I will never buy from them again. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They have ignored two further emails for a complete refund.

Wilson & Carter - avoid!

Royal mail delivery in 2-5 days became Evri in 11 days. The dress was nothing like the photo: poor fabric; poor finish. I have tried to return for a refund but, in spite of the website promise of easy returns, apparently I have to send the dress to their warehouse in China at my own expense in order to start the refund process. A real sham and so disappointing!

Utter scam

Utter scam. UK customer. Thought it was coming from London. Paid £50 over 3 weeks ago and still not arrived. Get tracking apparently showing it is moving through various airports, don't even believe that. Will be reporting to UK Police fraud squad and the bank.

Terrible

Terrible! The dress arrived and looked nothing like the photo. When I enquired about sending it back, I realised the return process would cost more than the dress itself (£30-£50). This makes the “30-day money back guarantee” a scam since to get a full refund I would need to pay for the return to possibly be at a loss. Instead of this they offered me 10% of the money back which would equate to £4. This company is a scam. The dress is cheap paper-like material and looks nothing like the photo. I wouldn’t even try to order from here since it’s impossible to get a refund

This is a scam

This is a scam. The first thing you’ll realise is the time for delivery…that’s because it’s coming from China, surprise surprise. The shorts I ordered I couldn’t get past my knee on one leg only! A least my wife laughed. I’m 60, probably fit a 5yr old.
Then the quality isn’t as per advert. You get the drift.
I’ve requested a refund, but like others have said, it’s probably a lost cause. I’ll contact trading standards and report and see if I can do a chargeback to my credit card. Two issues - firstly my bad for not thoroughly checking reviews and second beef is why the hell can these type of traders be trading! My advice, never buy via a site advertising on Facebook. In fact, delete Facebook.

I wish I'd read the reviews before…

I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. What an absolute joke this so called london based shop is. I'm still waiting for something I ordered a month ago!!! They are based in China, NOT the uk. Avoid parting with your money on cheap Chinese rubbish

I would give zero if i could have. All lies on website, they do not refund ( i was offered 10% from a £107 purchase. After loads of emails i had accept 30% back. Since accepting this they are now ghosting me. I have now had to open a dispute with my bank. Always the items arrived looking like dish rags and the material was so thin and awful i wouldnt have kept anyway

AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY. Products delivered bear no resemblance to advertisements. Materials used are shiny nylons, rather than cotton/linen. They’re pretending to be London based (emails from ‘Olivia’), but they’re probably Chinese. Reported to Trading Standards.

Fight for a bank chargeback

These scammers sent cheap stretchy nylon rags made in Chinese sweatshops. Not what they advertised on their web page. Not a London store, but masquerading as a London store. They are from China. Be warned they will charge you between 30 and 50% of the item’s price to return the items to China. They will not accept responsibility for mis-selling! I have successfully got my bank to do a chargeback because it was a debit payment. Be warned, your credit card will not cover your claim for costs that are less than £100. Just be very wary of companies using fake photographs to sell their inferior products!

Avoid Avoid Avoid!

The quality of these products it beyone dreadful. They look beautiful on the website but are cheap and nasty. The sizing is also way out. I requested a return and refund and guess what they said I could keep them in return for a voucher or I could ship them back, but would have to pay import duties of up to 50% of the cost! They are portraying themselves as a UK company so why do I have to ship returns abroad. My recommendation is go to your credit card company show that you have tried to work with this bunch without joy and apply for a refund that way. This company is an absolute disgrace. I feel like I have been scammed, and we should all stand up to them!

Do not buy from Wilson and Carter…

Do not buy from Wilson and Carter London, stay away. I have chased them about delivery and where the goods are being shipped (likely to be shipped from China) and they refuse to answer. I told them I need the goods delivered ASAP and if they cannot deliver within timeframe to cancel my order. The refuse to cancel my order and keep saying it's in process so just wasting time.

Will I never learn

Will I never learn! Check reviews BEFORE buying online from a company that you don't know.
Never again. How are overseas companies able to get away with blatant fraud in the UK?
The website pretends to be a UK company so when I did a search for UK based organisations - this came up. Flagrant abuse of our laws which usually protect innocent people from thieves.
Keep away from any online organisation that does not have a UK address. Chances are their products are not worth the postage.
