After going from 4.0 to 5.0
After going from 4.0 to 5.0, I have been much happier as they made the intervals between charger much longer. Whoop has helped push me to exercise and watch my fitness zones and max heart rate. I also can see my sleep zones and impact of not sleeping or drinking. Overall I like it. I want more real time data vs summaries. It is also weird to wear a device on my wrist that has no display. At least a clock would be great and the ability to see my heart rate with a push of a button would be even better.

I’ve been using WHOOP for over two years. Initially it replaced my Oura ring which I had for Three years. I found it easy to track my sleep and adjust parameters to see an improvement in sleep over the initial 3 months. It has also allowed me to gauge and adjust my efforts to improve my physical abilities. Have upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0 and enjoy the continued interaction with the Coach feature. It takes into account any heath or injury updates I have provided to lead me on a path to improvement while at the same time allowing me to question and reroute its suggestions based on my feedback. Easy to use and effective for my goals.

I’ve been using whoop for over 3 years, it’s definitely helped me get a baseline for where I am, having a journal to track habits, tracking my weight I move in strength trainer, hrv, RHR, stress all in one app is definitely worth it to me. The App is easy to use and customize to what I want to see.

Overall find the data helpful and informative. Seems reasonably priced for the volume of data it provides, and is durable. Easy to charge without removing which is helpful. Could use additional tweaks to accommodate seniors and disabled.

The recovery scoring is where Whoop truly shines. Every morning I wake up to a detailed breakdown of my HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep performance — and it actually tells me how hard I should push that day. It’s like having a personal coach on my wrist, and it’s changed the way I approach training entirely.
The sleep tracking is the most accurate I’ve ever used. It doesn’t just tell me how long I slept — it breaks down my time in REM, deep sleep, and light sleep with a precision that genuinely matches how I feel when I wake up. Following Whoop’s sleep recommendations has made a noticeable difference in my energy levels throughout the day.

I have used Whoop for many years and find it to be very insightful in my health advances. I read many other reviews and am confused by the 1star comments - I have not experienced any of the issues that they report. Have to wonder if they are just bots.
Regardless, if you use Whoop as directed I believe it will be a valuable tool in your fitness toolbox.
Using Whoop since April 2019
I’ve been a Whoop member since April 2019 and have upgraded through their latest bands / hardware to now be on the Whoop MG band. I’ve never had any issues with any of my previous hardware, straps, or customer service. I also use the Whoop sleep mask and blue light blocking glasses. Yes the subscription can be expensive, but Whoop has a consistent track record of adding new features to their hardware and new data visualisation to the app. The Whoop Coach (AI enabled) has also improved a lot over the last 6m or so.
