Worst Liquidation Lot I’ve Ever Purchased – Buyer Beware

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. I’m leaving this review to help other resellers avoid what I believe is a very poor-quality inventory source.
Before purchasing, I read reviews on Trustpilot about Wholesale Ninjas and still decided to give them a chance. I purchased their “Premium LPN Amazon Clothing Lot,” which was advertised as having a high likelihood of including recognizable brands. I wasn’t expecting luxury brands, but I did expect a reasonable portion, around 60–70% to include items with original tags or at least known brands like Levi’s.
For context, I’ve purchased liquidation lots from other suppliers before, so I have a solid benchmark for what to expect. This lot was, without question, the worst I’ve ever received.
Out of 100 items, I received only 3 Hanes products (all with damaged packaging) and 5 generic branded items with tags. The remaining 90+ items were low-quality, unbranded, or Amazon-labeled clothing with little to no resale value.
At this point, the entire lot is essentially unusable for resale. I’ll be donating all, of it to Goodwill. Fortunately, this was just a test order as I’m currently expanding my supply chain. However, for new resellers especially, I would strongly advise against investing your hard-earned capital here.

Replaced with Junk and Missing Items

Purchased a Manifested Lot. Items missing or relaced with lower cost junk. They said it was a technical cliché not their fault I got the same total amount of items. Lol, Good excuse I guess. Only offered a 15% discount on next order. Nope, no more orders with list joke of a company

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! We have purchased from this company for around a year. It started out pretty good, low damaged items, good turnover. This has turned into boxes of absolute garbage. HBA lots full of generic headbands, and expired items. Macy's lots with sample clothing, and items that are not in condition to be sold. We are looking at around 30% damage rate at this point. This will be our last order from this company.

I spent $500 on a box of junk

I spent $500 on a box of junk. It was supposed to be a blind adult health "reseller" box that was estimated to be around $1200 retail value. It was almost all crap. First of all, they guaranteed 200 items, I received 188. Of those 188 items, 1/3 of the items were baby items, there were loose single facial masks (that I assume they were trying to add as part of the 200 item guarantee, mind you, they're worth about 50 cents a piece), there were single bath bombs that resell for little to NOTHING, there was a TON of low cost toothpaste, and more. Just all junk. What CVS usually throws in the garbage. NONE of the pictured items that were shown were added, this was supposed to be a "HEALTH" box, there were NO vitamins, health care supplements, or anything that was actually of value.

I contacted customer service and waited several days. They contacted me wanting pictures of the baby items so that the warehouse could "do better" and not include them in future bundles. I don't know how this helps me. I'm out money. This site is such a scam. It's not worth the $500 that I spent, it's barely a $200 box (that's being generous) if I sell everything at 50 cents to a dollar, or make $5 bundles that would cost me more to ship. Absolute crap.

I wasted my money

I just get 150 pieces order from wholesale Ninja. I order from them because everything good that Lindey Glenn said about them. Well I am very disappointed I wasted $460.00. I even can’t make $5 in any of the item they send. Some of the things maybe cost .25 cent. I would never order from them again

Disappointed shopper

The items I received have nothing to do with the category I originally purchased. Additionally, every single item in the package is either defective, damaged, or completely unusable. There is no barcode to scan, and most of the contents were either broken or spilled out inside the box.

Given the condition of the items and the clear misrepresentation of the order. This is nothing but a scam.

Ordered 500 pieces of merchandise for $2 each and received $1 merchandise. The picture on the website showed valuable merchandise worth $10+ and I received toothbrushes and hair ties I could buy at Walmart cheaper. Do not purchase from this company...

Will not buy again

Most items have an expiration date of 2 months left. So it’s a rush to try and get them sold. eBay is flooded with the exact same items with the same expiration dates. People race to the bottom $ to be the cheapest to the point that they will lose money. Then you have people like myself, who does not like to give things away. You will not have much of a shot at selling everything to break even. 2 stars because the items were mostly sellable as far as conditions of the packages.

We appreciate your honest feedback and are glad to hear the items arrived in sellable condition. We understand that expiration dates are important for resellers, and we strive to provide quality liquidation inventory at the best possible value.

Because our products come from major retailers, liquidation lots often include items with shorter expiration dates—especially for consumables and personal care products. While this is common in the industry, we know it requires resellers to move inventory strategically. Many of our customers find success by bundling items, selling locally, or exploring alternative marketplaces beyond eBay to avoid price competition.

We’d love to help you make the most of your inventory. If you’d like selling tips or have any concerns, feel free to reach out to us at support@wholesaleninjas.com. Thank you for your business—we appreciate your feedback and hope to serve you again in the future!

Not really pleased

Not really pleased. They show sample clothing products on the website which are really cute so I gave it a shot. The majority of the items were retail $6 kids leggings, cut off shorts and a few (only a few) nicer items. They retail with Target for $6 so who is going to pay more and pay shipping on a pair of $1 looking kids leggings. Not going to order again.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry to hear that the mix of items didn’t meet your expectations. Our clothing lots are sourced from major retailers and are designed to provide a variety of styles and price points, with an average retail value of over $15 per unit. While some pieces may have a lower retail value, others in the lot are valued significantly higher to balance out the overall selection.

Many of our customers find success by bundling items, selling locally, or using different platforms where budget-friendly pieces are in high demand. If you’d like suggestions on how to maximize the value of your inventory, we’d love to help—please reach out to support@wholesaleninjas.com.

I have been buying from Wholesale…

Updated May 2025 - Late last year they were a disaster during black Friday and not able to ship some of the deals offered. I have given them another chance and they have been pretty consistent as of lately. (Target clothing boxes and HBA are GREAT!) My only issue is the Amazon GM boxes have been awful. They need to drop the prices on them or assure better quality in order for resellers to have any opportunity to make money.

Below is how they used to be early 2023:
I have been buying from Wholesale Ninjas for almost 2 years and they are pretty much my go to supplier for my eBay store. I stick with the Target clothing or Ross clothing boxes but occasionally buy the Amazon general merchandise boxes. I have made more money on the Target and Ross clothing than the Amazon but have made money on all of them. I see the bad reviews on here but I don't know anyone that has made money on HBA boxes. Too much risk with expired, short expirations or getting damaged in shipment.

We’re truly sorry that your experience during Black Friday did not meet expectations. Avoid this company. They take advantage of honest people.

Same experience as the other reviewers. The box was full of junk. I too was willing to spend $1000's on them as I believed a YouTube reseller. So I bought a sample box and it was junk. Everything inside was not what was advertised or eluded to in the advertisement. They open boxes up with multiple items then add them into your box and count them as an item. When looking them up you clearly see they belonged as part of a set. It is unsellable and ungiftable items, like party decorations from 2021. Don't waste your money and time. There are other better places to source from.

UPDATE 2/13/2025: I still have the box of junk in my garage. This review is so valid in fact that I received my money back when I finally located the real company information and made it know I was going to the AG. Don't doubt my review for one second. Given the response from the company I sincerely doubt that they have changed. They seriously sent ONE paper disposable face mask from a packge and counted it as one item. It's a hard pass on this company now and forever.

We take transparency and customer satisfaction seriously, which is why we are committed to accurately describing our inventory and ensuring that resellers get the best possible value. However, after reviewing our records, we have no purchase associated with this name, which raises concerns about the validity of this review.

For clarity, our lots are sold as advertised, and we do not break up sets and count individual pieces as separate items—this is simply not how we operate. Additionally, all our orders are backed by our Sellability Guarantee, ensuring that at least 95% of the items in every lot are in sellable condition. If a verified customer ever receives something outside of this standard, our customer support team is always ready to help at support@wholesaleninjas.com.

We understand that liquidation sourcing isn’t for everyone, and we encourage buyers to do their research to determine the best fit for their business model. However, we stand by the quality of our products, as reflected in the 1,000+ verified customer reviews on Reviews.io, where real resellers share their experiences.

For those interested in genuine, reliable sourcing, we invite you to explore our inventory and reach out with any questions—we’re always happy to assist serious resellers in growing their businesses.

I've ordered multiple times this one by far was the worst. It said drugstore items the picture was incredibly deceiving it was 40 crayons 48 patches pretty much dollar items I won't do this again if you're looking for dollar items they will be the place to go but don't expect that you go to sell things even close to retail because you just won't be able to thoroughly disappointed again

STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!

DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT buy from this company. I decided to give them a shot and purchase 3 separate lots. I have only received one so far and let me tell you, I pretty much am going to have to throw 90 percent of this box away. It was a lot of 100 count beauty products. Everything was just tossed in the box, no paper or bubble wrap, to which something spilled or exploded and 90 percent of things are stained/ruined and ultimately destroyed. I think I am still in shock and don’t even want to see the other 2 lots I have coming. I contacted them and they want me to go through and write out every thing that is damaged but refuse to count the spills as a damage. Whatever spilled gas destroyed most of the packaging and items in there. I wrote out a long detailed email and I sent them pictures and they don’t care. I spent almost $1400 with them and that’s what I get. RUN RUN RUN RUN away from this company. I wish I listened to the bad reviews before I purchased. I am an avid reseller and just telling you to save the rest of you from this mess!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEIR COMPANY

I purchased one of these listings for home beauty, for a little over a grand. Problems I experienced... 1. it came with multiple sexual toys. Umm, not selling sexual toys. When I attempted to get replacements, they denied me saying this is part of general merchandise. The problem is that they gave me over 40 of these toys which amounts to nearly 100.00 of my purchase. 2. they gave me leaking products. 3. they gave me many cheap cosmetics, some with seal broken. 4 they gave me a ton of items like face hydration sprays but half came without caps. When I purchased nail polish, most of them were separated and they did not give me reimbursement, they said to shake the bottle. The company makes money by passing off, often old and soon to be expired products. You do get some good products at a great price but ultimately, they are the ones who make out best as the boxes are filled with many items that are not saleable. That's why they sell it this way instead of just selling it themselves online.
