Horrible experience

Horrible experience. How can I trust a WHMCS module, when the registration process before during order process is already giving bugs on their own WHMCS website?

Eventually after several retries, I did get a successful amount of money taken from my PayPal (as my Master Card didn’t work - gave billing address errors), but no confirmation of having paid on their website, and neither received anything by email.

They do not have to refund me back, as it was just $20 or something, but still something to warn other people about, that you might end up paying and never get anything.

ANS: I'm sorry they no bug. I got 15 orders today with no problem with anybody.

They do not have to refund me back, as it was just $20 or something, but still something to warn other people about, that you might end up paying and never get anything.

ANS: Trust me, I don't have your money at all. You can contact PayPal they will also tell you.

Excellent Service and Reliable Modules

I’ve had a great experience with WHMCS Services. Their modules work smoothly and save me a lot of time managing WHMCS. Support is quick, friendly, and very helpful whenever I need it. Updates are regular and keep everything running without issues. Highly recommended!

There are many modules we are using…

There are many modules we are using from this company for like 8-9 years at least. As we are still using them means they are something we needed and still providing something we are using instead of any other provider.

Terrible Business Practices – WHMCSServices.com Closed Our Account After 10 Years!

We have been customers of WHMCSServices.com (formerly HostTheBest) since March 2015, nearly 10 years of loyalty, and this is how they treat long-term customers? They shut down our entire account, making all our purchased modules unusable, just because we refused to pay a new yearly fee on a module we no longer use!

Originally, we purchased multiple modules under a one-time payment license—meaning we paid upfront for lifetime usage. However, WHMCSServices.com suddenly changed their terms and decided they now want a yearly fee. We weren’t even using one of the modules, so we naturally declined to pay for it. Their response? They completely closed our account!

This means:
❌ All other modules we paid for are now useless.
❌ Even open-source versions we had are gone.
❌ We have zero access to our account, purchases, or support.
❌ Their support system blocks us, making communication impossible.

Emails? They go into their ticket system, which we can’t access since our account is locked. No way to get help or even a response! This is beyond bad customer service—it’s borderline fraud.

If you’re considering buying anything from WHMCSServices.com, stay far away unless you want to risk losing access to everything you paid for. A company that treats long-term customers like this cannot be trusted.

🚨 Avoid WHMCSServices.com at all costs! 🚨

That is not true if you login into your account you see that you are paying yearly support/updates a couple of times when was before yearly now is every 2 years. You don't see any company offering 2-year Support/update.

You canceled your services and said (We dont use WHCMS for a long time) that means you closed your whmcs or stopped use. If you don't want to pay the invoice all you need to do is open a ticket tell not to pay the invoice like all other clients do.

This is what I have on my site
Free support and updates for the two years. Once that year ends, it sends an invoice to you for renewal. It will be $19.99 for the 2 years.
After payment, you will continue to receive support and updates on our module release. If you do not want to continue, you can email us to cancel the invoice - Optional Renewals.

My team also tells you when you are ready to use the whmcs again you can also open a ticket and my team will activate your account.

That is not true because you can open a ticket in the sales dept that you don't need to login I get a ticket when clients forget their email or 2fa or ask me to reset. They responded with no problem.

The problem I see is that a lot of people don't check the TOS or read it that clearly says everything about this.

If you have any questions you can also open a ticket.

I purchased Client Notifications Addon…

I purchased Client Notifications Addon module from whmcsservices.com and I noticed it is not working as it should.
It has issues with Lagom theme.
I reported it on 02 Nov 2024 and I received a confirmation that it is not working as it should on 12 Nov 2024.
Since 12 Nov 2024, I have not received even a single reply for support team on the progress of issue being fixed nor any updates on it.
I don't think it would take so much time to fix the issue or to provide an ETA.
Poor support. Wasted my money on this module. It would be best if I would directly buy Client Notifications from Lagom rather than whmcsservices.com.

I think the ticket we tell you that we working with the lagom team and if they will not help us then what we can do? I don't have the open-source of this theme. The biggest problem I see a lot of people blame the module but they blame the theme company. Alot of these theme companies do themes that don't work with standard WHMCS and some cause a lot of problems with other module companies.

A fantastic product

A fantastic product, upgraded from their previous tool and this is even better. I didn't think it was possible but it is. Great support too. Fully featured and easy to integrate and get working.

Terrible customer service

This is a one man business run by a single developer

I have used his whmcs SMS plugins, which I original had issues getting working.

The plugin is great when it is working, the issue is that the support/customer service is awful and he tells lies to his customers and is unprofessional.

I opened a ticket about my issue and waited for 5 months for a reply/solution.

He then created fake screenshots from his own WHMCS system showing that he had sent SMS message to himself from my system, claiming everything was working fine. This was a huge lie.

My WHMCS logs proved he had not logged into my WHMCS system for 5 months, my SMS logs proved he did not send any SMS through my system and he had already admitted that he had lost the login details anyway.

He has also banned/blocked me for "breaking the rules", even though I am still a paying customer. So can no longer download updates.
Oh and the rule I broke is "do not leave negative reviews". This is called extortion

I also received a notification from Google that email he tried to send me was blocked as I contained malware attachment.

You decide if any of this is professional or acceptable behavior, it certainly isn't for me.

UPDATE:
The response below proves my point really. As you can see he talks nonsense and the response has nothing whatsoever to do with what I have said above,
I never said the plugin doesn't work, I very clealry said the issue is with the customer service and telling lies.
I took screenshots of everything they said and did, so if anyone would like evidence or their lies, just drop me a message and I will gladly send it.

We don’t need to lie about anything because I have been in the business for more than 15 years doing WHMCS. That speaks volumes and should tell you something about our reputation and dedication to providing the best service. We are not like other companies that come and go overnight. We are very sorry that it is taking so long to deliver. This may be as a result of multiple reasons but as you can see we have completed and delivered two updates when you submitted your ticket. My team tries very hard to respond and makes all customers happy but we try very hard to do so and sometimes, we must admit that it is a challenge to hit that 100% customer satisfaction mark. That said, we never give up and always try to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.

You can see other reviews of other places all customers are happy and satisfied with my products and services! Other people who see these reviews don’t make judgments based on only one 'bad' review. You can try for yourself and follow the term and you will never have a problem -- just like all my clients in my company.

About the block, it could be that you did not follow the rules. Also, if anyone would like to see if the module works as expected, please open a ticket and I will provide you with a login to my dev machine.

UPDATE: Am not a one man buiness. My company is not big also small of developer team and work fine of more then 15 year.

I used whmcsservices development…

I used whmcsservices development services several times to develop custom WHMCS modules.

The final products and prices are good.

The only problem is the delivery time. Usually there is no connection between the initial time to deliver promised to the actual time of delivery.

In general I think that if you ignore the long waiting time whmcsservices is the best company to work with when it comes to develop WHMCS moduls.
