To write a review on our week in Sicily two years ago and then in Tuscany this year, would be repetitive to all the wonderful comments that are already on this review site. Carmelo and Alberto, and their staff are amazing. They make all their guests feel special. We are looking forward to future new locations with this group! Don’t miss the opportunity to see for yourself what everyone is talking about!

Did the tour 9/24. All the previous reviews are spot on.
From day one we never felt like a paying customer. We were treated like family. There were dads, moms, cousins, uncles and aunts and in laws involved. Great to see such a strong sense of family. They always went the extra mile for us. They also have a restaraunt, La Magnolie in their nearby hometown. We stayed a few extra days and had an excellant dinner there. The cooking classes have changed the way we eat at home. (for the better)

Wonderful week in beautiful Modica. Group size was 11; when you left you felt like they were extended family. Extremely well planned out week with a balance of hands- on,fun cooking sessions eaten for lunch; excursions to local towns and venues such as an organic goat cheese farm and incredibly scenic and successful vineyard; restaurant meals and dinner on our terrace. The staff were all so loving and went out of their way to make sure all were happy. Cudos to the 2 young men who put their heart into this endeavour. Reasonably priced, truly all- inclusive; no single supplement; good cancellation policy.

Seven days in Modica living the good life. We ate drank and were merry. Our host was terrific and this family run business gives 100% all day, every day. Book it!

This was truly an authentic experience with a loving family who was passionate about their hospitality service. Paced with the right balance of cooking in the morning, toasting and eating our results, shorts naps, and then later each day a new adventure awaits to explore various parts of Sicily. There were no limitations with this experience, only the pleasure of being cared for which was greatly appreciated!

What a delightful week; I felt like I spent it with a family in Sicily. The town of Modica is easy to maneuver and not teeming with tourists. We (8 of us)stayed in a small, family hotel and were the only guests. The pace was perfect, ( we could sleep in, naps were built in the schedule) all the food we ate and prepared was such a treat! The town has cobblestones and is built into the hills so walking was a challenge but not impossible. The owner and his sidekick were very supportive and lots of fun. I can't wait to make pasta and cannoli now that I am home!

Great week. The entire team, from a chefs to “the boss” to the moms, all were delightful!!! Welcoming, accommodating. Lovely location Cooking was fun and informative, afternoon adventures were varied and interesting.
And I cannot forget Eliana and Dilettante…lovely ladies that made sure we stayed on track and focused every day !!!

A very well organised set up in a lovely setting. The hotel was great with the Terrace overlooking the cathedral. The cooking sessions took part in a well lit, spacious and cool cave literally 2 mins from the hotel. The staff without exception were amazing nothing was too much trouble. I thoroughly enjoyed my week with 7 other interesting people, the cooking and eating was great fun. I particularly enjoyed the visit to the goats cheese farm. I look forward to another trip.

Excellent value and fab company staying in a great villa and some authentic recipes practise. Admin was good and host excellent?

An amazing cooking and site seeing holiday. Nothing was too much trouble by our host. We learned a lot having fun along the way. Totally recommend this holiday.

This was the trip of a lifetime! We took a family girls trip and had the BEST experience! Not only was the scenery breathtaking, the villa and cooking classes were top notch! Our host, Carmelo, treated us like family and made our trip that much more special! We will be back! ❤️

From my first email to WhereinSicily till we parted at the end of the cooking class, everything was perfect. The hosts and their staff are responsive to clients' needs and wishes; the accommodations are beautiful; the recipes, instructions, and meals are first rate; excursions are varied and interesting and class size is small enough to allow for individual attention. I think what sets this apart from other groups is the personal involvement of the hosts and their chefs and families, which made for a warm and friendly environment. I enjoyed every minute of my week. This is an excellent value and I highly recommend WhereinSicily.

What a wonderful week in Sicily, one I will never forget. Carmelo really made the week so perfect; sharing his passion for good food with us.
I learnt many new cooking skills, ate some delicous & new food, drank wonderul Sicillian wine!
I met 'the family' that make whereinsicly the totally unique holiday it is, and visited beautiful places of interest along the way.
Alberto, Carmelo and the Chefs made this holiday more than I could have dreamt of.

I give WhereinSicily a 100+ Star review. Both Alberto and Carmelo are excellent hosts. Alberto's communication during the booking process was stellar. The chefs were amazing & very qualified to teach. Carmelo's charm and attention to detail while hosting the group, really shows his passion for his role as the host guiding us as we learned to cook the wonderful Sicilian food & toured the various cities near Modica. Each day topped the previous day with the quality of the presentations, the food, and the tours.

Can only repeat and confirm everything already written.

This was such a great experience. It was so well organised and every detail to make it special was much appreciated. Our small group of travellers bonded well and enjoyed the cooking, the food, the fun / and Prosecco time! Thank you Carmelo and Alberto for giving us such a great time.
