Terrible experience
Terrible experience, bought a product, it was faulty, tried to send it back, not interested, they have no warranty or returns from the UK. They have a great system to get around this, they say that you can send it back then they refuse delivery so you never get a refund. Not worth the risk. Avoid.

Purchasing experience
Item worked for 2 weeks then became faulty. Customer service is terrible, been speaking to them for 6 weeks to rectify. Initially stated they would send me a replacement but had to keep chasing with them asking me to do troubleshooting I had already said I had done. Now having to return the product to China to get a refund which will take another few weeks. Terrible service and would not recommend.
Update: I am now being sent a replacement with customer service being much better and replying to emails quickly and arranging for a replacement to be sent out.
I will update again with progress.

Fine company but certainly misleading
Fine company but certainly misleading. States on website they have UK stock. But order was shipped directly from China and therefore had long wait times, much longer than their stated delivery window

Greater customer service
I have used WhatGeek a few times and have had positive experiences dealing with them. Last order had an issue and the Customer Service has been really good. Emails have been answered quickly and a solution was agreed on. I will definitely be using again.
Really good prices with no hidden…
Really good prices with no hidden import taxes or fees, the quality of the product is excellent and was well packaged and came in good condition considering how far it travelled. YunExpress took absolutely forever, 11 days from shipping out to arrive in the UK, but it felt like an eternity. However, I may just be spoiled by Amazon Prime. Overall WhatGeek is excellent - please offer a slightly faster basic shipping!
Never received my order - replacement was a hassle to sort
Never received my order. No help from support until after I posted a negative review. It took quite some time to come to a resolution, with a replacement sent. Paid for expedited shipping, with the loss of original package, order took over a month and a half to arrive. Not a great experience overall. Consistently being asked to remove my poor review I have instead edited due to issue being fixed in the end due to one member of staff actually taking the time to read replies and not send generic responses I had already given answers to.

Avoid if You Value Your Money and Time
AVOID!!! It's a SCAM. Majority of the 'positive' reviews appear to be bots.
I ordered from Whatgeek and paid extra for “priority processing,” but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
1. “Priority Processing” Is a Scam
- I paid extra for priority handling, expecting my order to be processed and shipped faster.
- In reality, there was no difference in processing time compared to standard delivery. The “priority” fee appears to be just a way for Whatgeek to extract more money from customers without providing any real benefit.
2. Repeatedly Ignored Cancellation and Refund Requests
- When it became clear that my order would not be expedited, I requested a cancellation and refund.
- My requests were ignored multiple times. I had to send several emails and threaten escalation to the ombudsman and Trading Standards before they even acknowledged my cancellation.
3. Still No Refund
- Despite multiple promises from Whatgeek that my refund would be processed by July 31st (in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015), I still have not received my money back.
- Their customer service keeps apologising but fails to take any real action or provide a transaction reference.
4. Poor and Unhelpful Customer Service
- Communication is slow, vague, and unhelpful.
- They only responded with any urgency after I threatened to escalate the issue, and even then, they failed to deliver on their promises.
Tip:
If you have already ordered and are facing similar issues, keep a record of all communication and be prepared to escalate to your card issuer or Trading Standards.
Update: 08/08/2025 - still haven’t been refunded. The new excuse is “Due to unexpected processing delays with our payment system and bank partners” - it’s been 3 weeks since the cancellation and still nothing.
Update: 18/08/2025 - Still haven't received the refund. They keep sending me a screenshot of the 'refund' but have ignored my multiple requests for the ARN number. The ARN number is needed so the bank can track the refund.
Update: 24/08/2025 - Still no refund or ARN number. It's obvious now that they have no intention to refund me. This has now been raised with the bank and Trading Standards.

Never received item or refund
Ordered the 7th of June, still haven’t received. Quick to respond to emails but unfortunately there is lots of promises to resolve but no action. They agreed the parcel that had been out for delivery for a few weeks was lost on the 30th Jun, but never resent like was promised. Currently have been waiting for a refund for a week with no progress.
Update: delivery tracking checked 30/7

I got a miyoo flip v2 from them, their prices are superb compared to other places i've seen, and their customer support is top notch. I originally made a mistake and ordered the wrong color but the support team helped me amend my order in time.
the console was a gift and my friend loved it, she's had it for a little over a week now and says it runs great and has had a wonderful time with it!
