Whilst defrosting car

Excellent service from Customer service team arranging the call out to Dean from Shefflock that attended and gained entry to my car and switched the engine off within a couple of minutes after the car managed to lock its self. All staff very friendly, sympathetic and professional. Call out was a little delayed due to how busy they were due to bad weather conditions but they all kept me updated so no more stress endured

#STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY #
RAC to blame after my wife had issues with a door handle that had frozen and advised to contact their recommended auto locksmith .
Locksmith charged my wife £144 for a call out , ok not an issue quite expensive but if they fix the car I have to swallow it .
The car thawed out and didn’t need a repair .
My wife rang back to cancel 30 minutes later to be charged an admin fee . She was told the locksmith hadn’t left he was eating lunch and had another job .
Admin fee £60 .
RAC should have sent a technician out however on the coldest day so far it isn’t rocket science this was a frost problem .
Lock smith taking advantage of the situation as not regulated I assume .
I expect better and Will claiming the money through my credit as fraud and Mis selling . If I can be given a breakdown of what a £60 admin fee is I will be surprised by font can be justified .

Rescued at a service station…

I locked my keys in my car at a service station and the RAC arranged for We've Got The Key to attend. They kept me fully informed, were very efficient at accessing my car, and also incredibly helpful in following up to make sure I was able to get my remote key replaced. A fantastic and friendly service. Would absolutely recommend.

From the 1st telephone call to the locksmith leaving the experience was excellent. They were all customer orientated from start to finish. Highly recommend this company and will use them again if the need ever arises

Being gutted that I had lost my key

Being gutted that I had lost my key, this service made everything better, great correspondance, kept in touch with timings and persevered until it was completed, Very caring guy that helped. Very polite. This service was 10 out of 10 on everything from when I made the call . Thankyou

Professional from start to finish from…

Professional from start to finish from the phone call to the guy Micheal
I had stupidly locked my keys in boot on the Saturday to be told my rac it would be £204 AA £120 but not till the Monday I enquired via message we got the key to be greated to a polite and knowledgeable call handler he said the guy will b out within half hour on a Sunday for £120
Was happy with that Micheal found it difficult at first but never gave up to my delight got into my car
Cannot thank you enough

Great service but at a cost !

After the all to common central locking problem on a Land Rover D4 I ended up miles from home with my keys locked in the car ! I thought i was insured but apparently not but they called out “We’ve got the key” who were brilliant, the lady who turned up after about 1/2 an hour and had the door open in just a couple of mins. £190 though !!

This company was fantastic today

This company was fantastic today. Got to me really quick even though it was a Sunday and it cost me £300 to have a new key programmed due to a problem with my car having a security theft issue I could not ask for a better service.and would use them again thank you guys so much 👍🏼

My car key got stuck in my driver's…

My car key got stuck in my driver's door just as I was about to leave to visit my parents. My insurance company put me in touch with 'we've got the key' and all was right again with the world. Thank you so much for the fantastic service from start to finish.

Dont believe The company promis that they would…

The company promised me that they would definitely be able to supply a key for a BMW Z4. This was not true they managed to stop the original key from working and then left saying they would sort the problem.
They later told me they would be unable to do this and offered a refund but no way of putting the original key back to a functional state. Do not believe there claims that they are the best as they are definitely not l have now spoken with BMW and new keys will be available soon for £155.00 so I'll get one from them

I had locked my key in car

I had locked my key in car. Called RAC who put me in touch with this company. Felt a bit pressured on the phone to pay. Was told no refunds but I was desperate. Terms and conditions are sent via text and payment via text. Had no time to read them as they are long. Was told the locksmith would be after midday and it was 8am in the morning with car running so was a little stressed. After 30 mind I did find my spare care and rang them and the first comment was as you were told no refunds. No compassion so £170 down the drain and the locksmith wouldn’t have even been on the way. Lesson learned that you can ring around but as I was in a panic I just went with first company RAC recommended.

Great service

I stupidly locked my keys in my car. I called and within 2 and a half hours, I had someone at my car unlocking it. He was professional and courteous. He even offered for me to let my daughter sit in his van to get out of the cold and wind. I have never had to use an auto locksmith before, and I don’t ever want to again, but if I did, I would definitely use WGTK. Thank you.

Very reliable and trustworthy

I lost the last remaining key fob to my wife’s Mini Cooper and found We Got The Key on Google. From the moment they answered the phone they were brilliant - communication was fantastic and so was John who had to drive from Glasgow out to Edinburgh. He let me know what time he was due to arrive and then sent me a link to show his progress. He was professional and courteous and did a superb job. Couldn’t recommend the service highly enough.

Excellent service for glasgow east end. Phone personnel honest and straightforward. Man who did call out communicative, child friendly and accommodating, as well as efficient and effective. I’d reccommend this company. Thank you to those who helped me get my spare car key.
