My experience with one of the Kiosks/stalls in Stratford Westfield, 'Omniore', has been extremely concerning and has affected my confidence in the centre as a whole. Due to the seriousness of this experience, I escalated the matter to Trading Standards!

I purchased a custom dental item from Omniore in November after being told by staff that it would be ready within 10–14 days. As of January, I still did not receive the item or any refund, despite multiple follow-ups, emails, and visits to the store, so I escalated it to a charge back from my bank.

Communication from Omniore has been consistently poor and dismissive. My emails were either ignored or met with vague responses, and only after escalating the matter did I begin receiving more detailed replies. Even then, their responses attempted to shift the narrative rather than resolve the issue.

Their public replies on Trustpilot have been equally dismissive, including claims that they are unable to locate my order, despite prior direct communication and evidence already provided. This raises serious concerns about how customer complaints are being handled.

What is particularly worrying is that Omniore continues to give short delivery timeframes to customers, while failing to deliver within a reasonable period and refusing refunds.

As a customer, I expect businesses operating within Westfield to meet basic standards of honesty, communication, and accountability. Based on my experience, Omniore’s conduct falls well below that standard.

Westfield Stratford City should seriously review Omniore's business practices if it wishes to maintain its reputation as a trusted place to shop.

I would strongly advise other shoppers to avoid Omniore!

Please avoid buying Westfield gift card. It expired in only 1 year, however most of other gift cards have 18 months or 2 years expired date. They charge a £9.95 fee to extend your gift card. It is an unfair fee and it is a robbery. Don’t buy gift cards from Westfield shopping center. You pay for a card and it expires, money doesn’t expire. They are a greedy cooperation. They receive your money than they steal it from you. Shameful

Dear Westfields Please train your customer service staff at the information desks. They really are pretty shabby and need help. They appear somewhat disinterested in helping you and it feels like you are interrupting them when you ask them something. After a single word, phrase or sentence response they will quickly turn back to their colleague to carry on chatting. When they give you incorrect directions and you have to return to them to have someone laugh and not apologise and their colleague having to then tell me the right way is not a good look. Minimum should be an apology. When you ask them about an event and show them and ask where it is if they don't know then dont just turn away go and find out. Or apologise that you don't know. Seriously. I have seen children give better responses. Its interesting coming here to see that I am not the only one not impressed with the service. I have been coming here for a number of years and its always the same. I was going to complain direct to Westfields but I see from others on here that its not worth it. Other commenters are so right in what they are writing in that when you report something significant, they just shrug their shoulders or say it often happens instead of dealing with it. No one appears to know how to escalate or next steps or even some level of understanding or commiseration. This is my first 1 star review of any place :(

DO NOT GO TO THIS AWFUL SHOPPING CENTRE!!! BEWARE OF PURCHASING WESTFIELD GIFT CARDS!!! THEY ARE A SCAM!!! They have a scam going whereby they steal the money from your gift card, or block your card so can’t access your money! ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS! The customer service staff are rude and unhelpful and refused to help me regarding the missing money on my gift card, instead rolling their eyes and treating me as though I am a criminal. When trying to contact the Westfield email address, they either fail to respond or fob you off. Just abysmal!

Shoppers Vs Retailers

Despite the declining appeal of high street shopping. Westfield statford offers excellent and diverse shopping options

However, the layout seems to favour the retailers and not the shopper.

The amount of seating is disproportionate to the footfall and amount of shopping outlets.

The shopping aisles seem narrow and claustrophobic.

You can find a place to stop and rest near the toilets beside the upper food court. As spaces are always being made available, by people moving on after waiting for their family or friends to use the WC

Toilets are immaculately kept and always clean.

Brilliant and spacious family rooms and free water fountains.

It's a shame the performance of the retailers lets Westfield down.

Behind the fancy shopfronts and big names, the shopping experience is poor.
You're better off finding a nice comfortable place to sit and shopping online.

Shopping staff do not know enough about the products they sell. That's if you can find a member of staff to help you.
They simply process your purchase and that's it. You might as well buy online, with that level of service.

The lower food court have more affordable options. You can't find a seat near the affordable mcdonald's. If you're wealthy or are having and extravagant day, you will probably find somewhere good to eat.

The shopping experience is not as enjoyable as it used to be. But this is not down to Westfield, but the retailers.

Primark and John Lewis are the stars of Westfield, but at opposite ends of the shopping experience.

With Primark, it cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for.
With john Lewis, staff actually say hello to you and are available to help and answer questions. Old fashioned shopping experience.

Westfield Stratford is great as I never havd to go to central London anymore because all the shops i need are under one roof there. Plus eateries , coffee shops , a few places for the kids to play etc. We also regularly visit the Vue cinema there. Just avoid late afternoons and especially the weekends and you will have an enjoyable experience :) btw, they have an absolutely great Santa's grotto this year, called Good factory. The best i have ever seen, excellent job!

My car was involved in a hit and run on Westfield London car park recently and the security team don't want to know. I spoke to someone at security via email who was about as much use as nothing. It seems from looking at previous reviews I'm not alone in this, they don't want to get involved (I'm guessing due to fear of comeback against themselves and also no doubt, lack of effort) and so claim there is no CCTV in the area - which I don't believe for a moment. Oh and I suppose the ANPR system doesn't work either right? Complete load of nonsense.
This is now being investigated by the police and I have dashcam footage clearly showing the drivers face which will be posted online in due course when the investigation is complete.
Do not park here if you value your car and / or possessions. You have been warned.

There's a good choice of shops but the only reason I can find to shop there is if it's pouring with rain or very cold you can be warm & protected. The Shepherd's Bush Westfield is ginormous & it's exhausting, it's too hot & there's only one area to sit & rest which is by the John Lewis entrance, 5 seats all taken. I presume that they want people to rest having a tea, coffee, lunch. I was there for two hours & didn't sit down once, also because it was so warm I was sweating & my feet were swollen. If you're going there I recommend that you wear summer clothes & comfortable shoes. I didn't buy anything & won't be returning. I told my daughter & 23 year old granddaughter that I'd been there, my daughter said "It's my idea of hell" & my granddaughter said "I hate it" That's three generations that hate Westfield.

If I could give it Zero I would. It took us over 4 hours to get out of the Stratford Westfield Carpark after the athletics. We only went by car as my wife had sprained her ankle. A complete disgrace. Never again. No-one on site to assist. Complete chaos! DO NOT PARK THERE, unless you dont mind a very long wait to get out.

We had a day out in Westfield, it took three hours to get out of the car park, the surrounding road system is not up for the shopping centres popularity, we won’t be going again.

Had a great experience purchasing today. It was very busy however a customer service agent I believe her name was Shaista helped direct me to the products I was looking for. She was very polite and regardless of the rush made it a priority to help me on the products I wanted. Found this experience lovely. She went out of her way to help me which I rarely experience in Zara stores to be honest. Friendly, kind and helpful.

Westfield Shepherd’s Bush staff are absolutely appalling and disgraceful. They seem to take pleasure in using unnecessary force, including physically touching, hurting, and throwing around young children. Their behavior is completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable.

How can anyone feel safe in a place where security staff—who are supposed to protect—use their authority to harm minors? The treatment of young children in such a violent and inhumane way is beyond shocking. It’s disgusting and shameful that a place as prominent as Westfield allows such untrained, aggressive, and unprofessional individuals to represent them.

If you care about your safety or the safety of your children, I’d think twice about visiting Westfield Shepherd’s Bush. They clearly have no control over their staff and no regard for basic decency. Completely unacceptable.

It has been months now since I have noticed teens entering westfield shopping centre Stratford in roller skates in a high speed..Today a group of teens almost fell on me while I was entering the shopping centre. Not to mention I am pregnant and I got supper stressed while trying to protect myself... Law should consider thoroughly adjusting current legislation on how these incidents can be handled in order to avoid serious accidents and Westfield centre owners should support this unless they don't care about the health and safety of their customers while using their facilities to do their shopping

A bit over £2,000 of stuff has been stolen and nobody cares. Not a consultant, not a manager, not even a security of H&M cared.
Westfield security have the same attitude, they just laughed and said it was OK and completely normal. Since when it's OK? What’s normal here?

I went shopping in Westfield used their car park paid and left as you would. A month later I have received a parking fine of over £100 for failing to pay to park. Trying to sort this out has been a nightmare going in circles trying to get the right person to speak to.

Charged twice for the same parking..paid at the machine in the complex , barrier didn't lift so l paid again thinking the first payment didn't go through.
These people are scum and won't refund me luckily the bank did when I put it down as fraud.
Don't let them stitch you up.

Took my daughters for ab9th birthday haircut and sales manager was exceptionally rude. He said the girls were not children, he did not have the time to speak to you, he did one of the girls then went for lunch for 1 hour before he came back to do the other girls. I dont want to talk to you...also they gave differing prices ...very bad service and not worth another trip

I was told that due to defective order that I would be reimbursed. It’s been week’s and I haven’t got it. Bad experience! Order elsewhere!
