Purchased a Belkin Wemo Smart Plug…
Purchased a Belkin Wemo Smart Plug which has now been rendered completely unusable following Belkin’s decision to end support on 31 January 2026.
The device no longer works via Alexa, the app login fails, and even the manual on/off button no longer operates.
Attempts to contact Belkin have been extremely frustrating:
• Phone support involves excessive wait times with no resolution
• Live chat does not support Wemo products
• UK support email addresses bounce as invalid
As a result, there is effectively no way to obtain proper support or resolution.
This experience is disappointing, as consumers are left with a product that has been remotely disabled and no clear support pathway.
