The Customer Service is Horrible

The Customer Service is non-existent with Wells Fargo. I have been sent all over customer service. 6 people and no resolve.
I had a card years ago, closed account applied and approved for new card. Perfect. Cannot access or create an on line acct. Something from my closed previous acct. Cannot pay on line... they solution is to drive to closest branch, Illinois, I live in Michigan. Photocopy all my ID documents with my new credit card # and mail. I REFUSE TO DO THIS! I cannot believe that WF Cannot send a link, a text, a drop box, any secure way to send what is needed. I offered to scan, email, text. NOPE. I find this crazy. I would never mail all my personal information out. Driving to another state in NOT an option.
The most frustrating part of this, they dont even care. My problem. 3 times I was promised that it would escalate and someone would call me. Never happened.
I am going to pay off my balance transfer promotion over the phone since I do not have an on line account. I have requested to waive the balance transfer fee and it was declined. It has now escalated again and waiting for a call back to waive this fee and close the account.
If this is the service on boarding, just imagine if you need your bank, credit card company to stand behind you from fraud, stolen card and they are not there for you! Too many options out there. Please trust me, the now, hours of calling and starting over, nothing documented has exhausted me. They promise anything to get off the phone and no follow through. WORST CALL CENTER EVER IS WELLS FARGO!

I have a store card from a retailer…

I have a store card from a retailer that I love. However, I have let them know I will not use this card again. Eleven of 12 payments were made without an issue. The last payment, however, was not received? Fidelity has provided the cashed check image and subtracted it from my account. WF refused to talk to Fidelity, and WF told me they were just the middleman, and to call the retailer. I did, and of course, they said they have no control. After hours of phone calls, they gave me a fax number. They reported me to the credit bureaus, and now I have to dispute after my score was reduced. I called, and they said they did not get my info, which I faxed, so I had documentation. Then they told me my payment doubled, and it would be easier to pay the bill!!!!!!! I let the retailer know that I will not use their card in the future, and they should reevaluate their service.

Been a customer for more than 15 years

Been a customer for more than 15 years. I have no idea why i stayed and put up with their unfair practices. Processing debit before credits when the money was transferred the same day or day before caused us alot of problems. My card not working many times, even when the money was there..repeatedly. Require me to have to make changes to the original account names after over 15 years is ridiculous! You have my DL on file...r u serious? Not allowing me to use my business address on my business account?! Much much more happened but... WTH!....peace out Wells, last straw for me!!

I have been a loyal customer of this…

I have been a loyal customer of this bank for more than twenty years and recently had to apply for a $3000 loan. A few years ago I got a loan for the same amount which I paid back almost immediately but this time they asked for literally EVERYTHING proof of income, tax returns, pay stubs (on paper) which I provided and they still took over a week. I am still waiting to hear from them for a measly $3000! I called to complain and they were rude and insulting to me on the phone. Leaving this bank ASAP

I absolutely hate this company

I absolutely hate this company. We lost our home because of the office in Hoover, Alabama. It's closed now. Please don't waste your time with with 17 emails asking for your bank statements, military disability income, Social Security payments and more. Beware of using them for any dental financial help as this is a nightmare. We tried this at Koplon Dental in Leeds Alabama. This company has no idea what they are doing and in the process will hit your credit report several times.

My experience with Wells Fargo customer…

My experience with Wells Fargo customer service today was completely unacceptable. I called seeking assistance with a specific issue and was transferred approximately 10 times between different representatives and departments. Not a single person took ownership of my concern, and despite spending a significant amount of time on the phone, my issue remained unresolved.

Having to repeatedly explain the same problem to multiple representatives was frustrating, inefficient, and a waste of my time. The lack of communication and coordination between departments reflects very poorly on Wells Fargo’s customer service standards.

As a customer, I expect competent support and accountability. Instead, I was treated as though no one was willing or able to help. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in Wells Fargo’s commitment to its customers.

Wells Fargo needs to address these service failures and ensure customers are not endlessly transferred without receiving actual assistance. No customer should have to go through what I experienced today.

I will never Use wells Fargo again for…

I will never Use wells Fargo again for loans or banking. I have tried several times to set up automatic payments and it failed. The customer service rep said the payment system was picky. I tried to use the automatic payment system several times, going through the whole process and inputing all the data only to have the system say there was a problem and send me to a customer service rep to do the data input all over again, every time. When I had a checking account with them they made many mistakes. Dont use them!

This is an extreme extreme rude and unhelpful bank. I tried to log into my account and it would not let me access it.I called customer service about this and they tried to tell me that the user ID was not case sensitive and that it was my password. That had not been my experience in the past. They wanted me to change my account access information. The customer service here is horrible and I am not the least bit surprised that they have a 1 star rating it should be a 0 but I'm sure that is not an option they give. I've been a customer here for 30+ years. Customers are not their concern hence some of their negative illegal and unethical behavior in the past. Hopefully they get bought out by another bank.

One of the worst service systems I have…

One of the worst service systems I have ever experienced.
I tried to schedule an appointment with a mortgage consultant, but they kept sending me to a banker instead. The banker told me that he had submitted my request in the system and that someone from the mortgage consulting team would call me to schedule an appointment.
I waited for their call, but instead they only offered phone appointments. I specifically requested an in-person appointment. They assured me that someone would contact me, but they never did.
When I finally called back, they scheduled yet another appointment with a banker.
What is the point of providing customer service if customers cannot get the assistance they actually need?

Don't use Wells Fargo - go elsewhere

I've used Wells Fargo commercially for our insurance company. Stay clear - they a uncollaborative, insanely slow to respond or deliver, and any process through them will take forever and make you furious. They partner with Visa for their Cybersource payment process - do not use that either, as you'll never get your data out. If you try to close a commerical account, be prepared for a marathon's marathon of back and forth and endless paperwork. My advise is go with Chase, BoA, or basically any other bank.

I have had business accounts with Wells…

I have had business accounts with Wells Fargo for years. Now they want to verify my name, date of birth, address, and social security number. I provided all this information in order to open the accounts. I called customer service, asked them if they needed to verify my social security number again because it may have changed. The representative said "Yes, it may have changed and we need to verify it or your account may be closed or restricted." My social security number may have changed? Seems like their record keeping is lacking efficiency and storage.

Wells Fargo does not care for their customers

We have been a long-time customer of Wells Fargo. I just had to refinance my home to pay medical bills for my wife. When the check was deposited, they put a 10 day hold on the check. I called the corporate office and was told there was nothing they could do. Really, our mortgage company has been pulling payments from our checking account for 7 years. I then asked if they could call the issuing bank to verify funds. They would not do that. I had to call all my creditors and tell them I could not pay the past due medical bills until the check was released into our account. I tried to file a complaint and the person on the phone couldn't even pull up the complaint form! Sent over an hour on the phone with them and got nowhere. That's the way they treat a long-time customer? Pissed!

Printing new cards on the spot

Wells Fargo does not print out new debit cards when you come to the branch. Almost every other bank has done this for me. According to Google this is something they once did but stopped to cut back on overhead costs. Sounds really cheap to me considering the bank. 10/10 would not bank here.
